Ember grabbed Scott's hand and followed him as he pulled her to the dancefloor. The beat was fast, so Ember quickly found her groove and began dancing.

He grinned triumphantly. He ordered for the same thing she did and paid the vendor, getting both of their orders.

He said with a smile. He had wanted to make the night fun for her and was therefore somewhat prepered for some things.

Scott danced with Ember, thoroughly enjoying himself. The music was fast and she was a surprisingly goodf dancer. Soon, however, the music began to slow down. Scott felt awkward, especially since Ember was someone else's girlfriend.

Mimosa nodded. "That sounds liek fun." She boldly took hold of his hand and guided him down to the water, where they could watch the waves gently hit the shore and eat whatever it was they had bought.

Ember was so into the music and the dancing that at first, she didn't even notcie that the song changed and it was aslow song. She stopped dancing abruptly, and stared at Scott. Boy, was it awkward. First, she just stared at him, and then slowly, she took a few steps closer to him, her breathing slow. She'd never slow danced with a guy before, so it was weird for her. She knew what to do so she gentley placed both of her arms on her shoulders, joining them behind his neck, and began slow dancing.
Scott smiled awkwardly. He rested his hand on her waist, and grabbed her free hand with his. Relaxing, he began to move now, taking extra care not to step on her toes. (He was sure he would soon anyway.)
Ember saw how Scott had smiled, and she knew that he was feeling the same way she was: awkward. But because of the dancing...she hoped. Slowly she moved, trying depsarately hard not to step on Scott's feet. Slowly...slowly...slow-uh-oh. Ember stepped on his left foot, and she winced, hoping not to have stepped hard. "Oh God! I'm sorry sorry Scott!" She stopped dancing and turned red with embarassment. "I've neverslow danced before..." She confessed.

He laughed lightly as he fished in his bag and found the blanket, throwing it over the grass in a bright contrast of aquamarine and green. It was a hard thing to do as he had to juggle, or more like balance, their food as he did so. He smiled at her and then looked down.
I’m glad you said yes.

Scott heard Ember's apology just as he slammed his foot down on her toes as well. "Oh,k jeez...um, wow. We're really bad, aren't we?" he asked honestly.

Ember had jumped back when Scott had stepped on her toes as well, but all she did was laugh. "Yeah, I guess we are...but we don't have to stop." Get got closer again to Scott and put one of her arms on his shoulder and the with the other she grabbed his hand, seeing if he'd be willing to try dancing again.
