It was around noon on a sunny Saturday, and Brianna had just woken up. She'd rolled out of bed, threw a sweatshirt on over the tank top she'd slept in, dragged a brush through her short brown hair, and slipped on a pair of tennis shoes.
She decided she was hungry, so she trudged through the school to the cafeteria in her polka dotted pajama pants. Bree grabbed a banana, a piece of toast off a warm stack in the cafeteria line, a mini box of cheerios, a bowl, and glass of orange juice.
Balancing it all, she walked over to an empty cafeteria table and dropped it. She poured the cereal into the bowl, then got up when she realized she'd forgotten milk.
After she'd gotten milk, she started shoving cereal into her mouth, occasionally nibbling her toast, eating banana, and drinking orange juice.
Brianna was still half asleep, and could barely connect the orange juice glass with her mouth.
