I just found out something awful about one of my friends. Like, really awful. Like, go-to-jail, don't-pass-go, don't-collect-$200 kind of awful. And I feel... relieved? Definitely relieved. Because it means they haven't been avoiding me because they hate me.

Ohh.. Don't feel bad, please. That sounds awful what has happened to your friend, but I'd say that's a fairly normal reaction on your part. Nobody wants to think someone they care about doesn't like or want to be around them. Is your friend going to be alright? Are you okay?

I'm fine. I walked out without an issue after I talked to the police. They'll go to jail. They'll get out eventually. And I should feel upset because they're locked up, but just... at least it wasn't as bad as it could have been.

That's quite alright. My secrets are fairly mundane in comparison. I just feel overwhelmed at times by family drama, my job, my kids, and all my other responsibilities. And sometimes, I kinda wish I could escape it all for a while - just go somewhere and not have to worry about everything for once.
