Sapphire sighed, staring at the sky. Tic, tic, tic. Time goes by, but life is boring. Soooooo boooooriiiiiiing. Booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooored. She had been on the island for a few months, but it was weird adapting to this life. Sure, she had a puppy mama and papa, but she missed her family. Blood family and Papa Mama, that was.

It was weird, she wasn't that motivated to go out and find new people to play with. All she did was sit around and do homework. Sometimes on the ceiling, or in this case, on the roof of the school. Just laying down down, staring at at the pretty clouds and wasting time before she had to go home and do homework.

Minna got out onto the roof of the school panting, she needed the air and the roof seemed like it would be the least crowded place at the school right now. Minna breathed a sigh of relief as she got out onto the roof itself taking in a deep breath. The weight of possibly touching someone and hurting them had been weighing on her for a while and she didn't want to do that again. Not any more and she needed to get in control of her abilities, but right now was stress relief time.

Minna walked around the corner so she would be out of sight of anyone coming up onto the roof only to find a little girl laying on the roof staring up at the clouds. Minna stopped in her tracks and tried to take a step back but accidentally stepped onto the hem of her long skirt and felt flat on her rear with a little squeak. There was certainly no avoiding this person now. "Ow..." Minna said as she rubbed a hand over her lower back and tail bone

Sapphire looked over as she heard a thud followed by an owe. Wow, there was a person here, not what she expected at all. She was really cute looking with her curly hair, reminded her of Uncle Dennis. He was funny. Oh, she probably was too!

Now, she had too be careful.... Sapphire got up, running over to Minna. She jumped, landing and sitting on Minna's belly. "Hello there! I am Sapphire, Nice too meet you. Are you okay, that looked like it hurt?" She looked around Minna, not seeing any pools of blood. SO it couldn't be that bad at all. "What'cha doing on the roof? It's not that exciting." She was really nice, Sapphire could already tell. Sure, they didn't really talk with each other at all, but who cares about that. She smiled at the thought, her bright orange pupils staring at Minna.

Minna didn't have much time to react as she turned around to find a smaller girl flinging herself at Minna like a hunting lioness and tackling her to the ground. She let out a little puff of air and sounds as she laid back on the ground while the smaller girl straddled her stomach looking at Minna. Blinking a few times as she was bombarded with an introduction and questions.

It took Minna a moment to catch her breath but once she was breathing regularly again she looked down... up at the girl. "I came up on the roof to get away from the crowds... I didn't think anyone else was up here... but it's... a surprise to meet you Sapphire. I'm Minna Snow... um... out of curiosity first... why did you pounce on top of me?" Minna wasn't entirely worried about that answer, it honestly just seemed that the Sapphire was excited to meet someone.

Sapphire crossed her arms, thinking for a moment. Maybe she was a bit too direct this time. She just kind of did a small cannon ball on this girl, although she took it rather well. And she had a really cute name. Yeah, totally cool with her being on her.

"Well, I pounced you too see if you were okay. Plus it's how I greet a lot of people. Anyway, why did you want to get away from the crowd? And is it okay if I can stay with you up here? I don't wanna do homework." She stretched a bit still looking at Minna. She was pretty comfortable, and quite frankly she didn't want to move yet. Sapphire was still feeling rather lazy.

Minna blinked at Sapphire's reaction to her question about Sapphire pouncing her. Apparently she did that to people when she meets them. It seemed though after answering Minna's question about her pounces, Sapphire asked Minna why she wanted to get away from crowds and if it would be okay for her to stay up on the roof with Minna.

Still a bit confused Minna realized her arms were above her head like she was trying to keep them away from touching Sapphire. Even with her gloves on Minna reacted this way, realizing this Minna brought them down to her sides while Sapphire continued to sit atop her. "Well... I don't really have control over my abilities and if... if someone touches my skin then they could get hurt... REALLY badly. My clothes are okay to touch just not my skin. So for everyone's safety I wanted to get away from them."

"As for if you can stay with me up here... I don't see a reason why not... But you should proabably do your homework. It's important to get that done as soon as possible." Minna shrugged while she stayed laying down under this girl. She also didn't want to ask the girl to get off just in case Sapphire might take it as her being rude and go running off crying or something.

Sapphire almost touched Minna's face right then and there. Almost. She kind of figured that Minna would also get really sad if that happened, and Sapphire didn't want to make her cry. That would suck, and then Sapphire would have to get out of there so she didn't get in trouble. If she could still walk even from that pain. It probably felt like when her Mama accidentally smacked her with a bat. It was funny the next week.

Clapping, Sapphire nodded and silently cheered up until the homework part. "Yeah, I know I know." Sapphire crossed her arms, pouting a little bit. "I'll do it when I get home....Later." Sapphire put her hands on Minna's stomach, doing a quick handstand and then flipping off. The landing was a bit of a stumble, then she landed on her butt. It was rather impressive though, and in one fluid motion where her clothes didn't flop around and show off her naughty bits.

Her eye's shot wide as she realized that as soon as she had explained her power. The Sapphire's curious look was all the indication that she needed to be worried. However it seemed the little girl wasn't going to act on this impulse like she did with pouncing on top of her but still there was a sigh of relief as their topic of conversation changed.

It seemed the homework comment got to the littler girl and she put her hands on Minna's ribs and used her to flip over her to land above Minna's head but with a rough landing as Sapphire landed on her own rear. "I didn't want to say that to be mean, i'm sorry if you took it that way... Um... what do you do for fun up here? You probably have something you like to do." Minna sat up and carefully turned around while tucking her long skirt underneath her to keep her from being indecent.

Sapphire turned around, giggling a bit. That was fun, though her landings could have used a bit of work. Later though. She turned around, adjusting her own skirt as well, though more so as to just follow what Minna was doing. She didn't care, but would feel silly now.

"No, that's okay. I get it." Minna seemed to get defensive fast. She didn't really do anything wrong either. "I do a little bit of playing of instruments. Other then that, I'unno. I haven't been here long... Still kind of learning the place." She scratched the back of her head, looking around awkwardly.

Letting out a sigh when Sapphire said that it was okay Minna gave a friendly smile as she listened to the other girl explain that she liked playing instruments but not much else. "Well, it looked like you are very adept at gymnastics... or at least you could be really skilled. I... I would do more things but I mainly just read books and try to stay out of peoples way. I wish I could do a hand stand like you just did, but I have no idea how to do that sort of stuff." Minna shrugged as she talked.

Her own skills were probably minuscule compared to this smaller girl. though Minna couldn't put an age to her, mostly because she didn't want to judge people by their cover. This girl could be 10 or they could just be a hyper active immortal who's lived hundreds of life times. Minna probably wouldn't know.
