Mimosa walked into the Common Room. A few people were there, but not many.

[ui]Good[/i] she thought, A whole couch to myself.

She immediately plunked down, puklled a book out of her pocket, and began to read.

Jack struggled with the Vampire. "You'll never get me!" he yelled, avoiding his sharp dagger as it lunged towards him...

Mekira peered at Mimosa's book from behind her, realizing it was rude, with a chuckle, but with his keen eyesight, he had become quite engrossed with the book as well.
"Hohohoh, I wonder what happens next!"

"Hoply@$%^!!!" Mimosa jumped, dropping the book to the floor.

She sprang up and turned around, having not noticed Mekira. "Who the heck are you?!"

Mekira chuckled, smiling as he drew back.
"Sorry about that, you just seemed so engrossed in that book of yours, didn't mean to scare ya."

Mimosa shifted away from the guy.
"Uh, yeah, I was..." This guy was not exactly getting off on the right foot with her.
