Smiling as he felt William's hand grip his, Gabe spoke,
"that's okay, I'm glad you're not mad with me, I don't like making people mad." He frowned a little, though not at William, and not because of William, he frowned because he seemed to make people mad a lot without even meaning to. I always ruin things. He thought sulkily.

Gabe slapped his own wrist, stop that, c'mon Bill's not mad at you, so enjoy your date. He giggled as Bill came down to his level and cuddled him tightly. "Oh gosh you're such a cutie!" Gabe exclaimed.

"If you say so," Gabe said after a moment's hesitation. "But I doubt you're half as bad as you say you are." He let it go though, he didn't see any way he would be able to make William perform. "I can play my bass for you if you like?" He said, maybe they'd be able converse about that afterward?

<div align=center>The boy made a noise, and shook his head just a little. His brow furrowed slightly, "m'not mad." He said again, his voice just a little sterner this time. Though he couldn't completely agree with the fact that this was a date, it didn't feel like a date to Bill, a date was a candlelit dinner that cost a lot of money, this wasn't a date, they were just together. He just wanted to cuddle, and that's all he ever wanted. "I'm sorry," he mumbled, pushing himself against Gabriel and nuzzling him softly, "I'm just getting used to the fact that, y'know." He laughed softly, and cleared his throat awkwardly. This was a place where other people could be as well, and that made Bill feel just a little strange.

He felt a lot more comfortable within the four walls of Gabe's dorm room, or even his own, though since Micheal was often there as well, it was just a little difficult to be in there with both of them without some kind of fight breaking out, William had already been in a life-or-death situation since the boy had woken up, though he couldn't say he didn't have fun, though the fear factor perhaps overwhelmed that feeling. William didn't like being scared. "It's alright," he mumbled, "I'm comfortable."</div>

"I know ," Gabe said a little bit too forcefully. He didn't apologise though, he hoped Bill wouldn't take too much offense from it, it wasn't as if he had been nasty anyways. "No need to be sorry," Gabe answered, "it's not like you've done anything wrong."

He met William's eye, " it's fine , it does take some time to get used to, but I recommend you stop thinking of it as being any different than before." Gabe laughed , "I'm still the same person as I was before we exchanged saliva," oh Gabe, always one for the corny phrases, "so you don't need to feel like you have to act any different around me now."

"I mean, apart from giving me more hugs and kisses all the time of course. I like those." Gabe stuck out his tongue. "Alright," Gabe shrugged, "me too."

<div align=center>William giggled softly, and let his eyes flutter shut. He wished he hadn't napped, he felt sleepy and lazy, then again, that was perhaps the way he felt most of the time. He yawned loudly and sighed, it was evident the boy was just a little bit bored, he was used to doing things by now, regardless of how lazy he came across as. William, in fact, wasn't lazy, he was merely a very sleepy person, when he was awake he liked to do things, he liked to be occupied. Bill shifted uncomfortably and sat straight, frowning at Gabe. He rather hoped every date wasn't going to be like this, because frankly, William wouldn't have called this his idea of fun.

"I wanna do something." He mumbled, sighing again and dropping his head backwards, "Micheal and I went cliff jumping the other day why can't we do stuff like that." He grumbled, as much as William had hated that at the time, secretly, he'd rather enjoyed it, though probably wouldn't ever do it again. Micheal tended to push William into doing things, though afterwards William always had to admit that he didn't hate it as much as he thought he did, and in the end these things tended to be exciting. It had tripled his fear of heights though.</div>

"You're bored aren't you?" Gabe deducted from William's demeanour. He felt a little bad, he didn't know exactly what he had planned to do by bringing William here, he had merely wanted to see his boyfriend again. He didn't like being away from Bill for too long.

"What do you want to do then?" Gabe asked, frowning slightly. "Oh? Did you now?" His frown deepened a tiny bit. He had to bite his tongue to stop him from lashing out. Gabe couldn't help the ball of evil envy that was now building up in the pit of his stomach, he was just a naturally jealous person and he hated when William talked about Michael.

And, in fact, when Gabe tried to figure out the root of his problem he discovered that it was not just Bill talking about Michael that made him mad, but when he put Michael in such a glorious light and made Gabe seem worse than him.

<div align=center>William nodded just a little, he felt just a little bad for it, and he was contented in Gabe's company, but he was restless and he couldn't help that. His eyes flickered to the acoustic guitar he'd tuned a little while ago, he hadn't played for a while and in all honesty he missed it, he hadn't had time for that, or either he had, and he'd decided not to, either Micheal had been around or he'd visited Gabe instead. Jealousy was practically radiating from the Latino, and it made William scowl, he could sense that even without his empathetic powers, and it made him just a little bit irritated, though he didn't dare say anything about it, he didn't want to risk a fight, not this early on.

He nodded, "I was scared but it was okay," scared was perhaps an understatement, he'd been pretty sure he was going to die. He sighed lightly, in an irritated sort of fashion and shook his head, maybe he'd change the subject, he could feel Gabe was getting annoyed and frankly it made him feel the same way. William had since learned some things about the winged boy that had perhaps upset him a little, they'd made him angry. "I don't know?" He answered, pulling away from Gabe, and slowly pushing himself to his feet, "why would I know?"</div>

" 'm sorry," Gabe mumbled apologetically. "My intention wasn't to bore you, I was excited to see you and it seems that in my haste I forgot to actually think of something for us to do." It was sort of hard to know [i} what [/i] to do with William, usually he could perhaps take a date out for lunch or dinner but William didn't appear to enjoy eating, well he wasn't often hungry it seemed, and he also didn't seem to like public places all that much.

"I'll have to have a talk with Michael," Gabe tutted. "He shouldn't have forced you to do that if you were scared." William had never actually said that Michael forced him into it, but he could guess, he didn't think it was the sort of thing William would do willingly, though perhaps he was wrong.

"Well you're the one who wants to do something." Gabe shrugged. "Perhaps we could go back to my dorm and watch a movie? Or we could see if there's any groups doing anything tonight?" Maybe there was a party or something they could attend, perhaps what Bill needed was more people to interact with. Then again Bill was far too nervous most of the time.

<div align=center>William wrapped his fingers around the neck of the guitar, picking it up, and sinking back to the floor again, he pressed his fingertips to the frets and strummed it once, changing the position of his hand and strumming it again. It became a song soon enough, as soon as the boy had taken a pick from his pocket of his jeans. "It's alright," he answered idly, distracted by the notes of whatever he was playing. Bill thought that it was cute, he liked the warm feeling at the bottom of his stomach that he got when Gabe said that, someone was actually making an effort for him, and that made him feel happy.

William bristled a little at the next thing Gabe said, but chose to ignore it, if he wanted to battle it out with Micheal then he could go ahead, though he wasn't all that sure Gabe would come out the victor, Micheal was older than him and wiser. Bill had begun to unconsciously hum something that matched the rhythm of whatever song he was playing, apparently half forgetting about his conversation. He didn't want to go out, he couldn't stand parties and large groups of people made him feel nervous.</div>

"If you're sure." Gabe mumbled. His eyes lit up as William started strumming though, he was half tempted to try join in on his bass but he decided that he would like to listen to William, the boy was playing softly enough already without Gabe drowning him out with his bass.

Gabe leaned forward a little as William started to hum. He was very good at keeping in tune, Gabe noted, and humming was a good start, if Bill was humming it meant there was a good chance he could start singing. Gabe nodded along. He knew William was musically talented, the boy had been undermining his own skills.

<div align=center>"I'm sure," the boy replied softly, his hand sliding up the guitar's neck, he liked the way it sounded, though it perhaps wasn't as nice as his own, he loved his guitar, it was old and battered and it made a sound like no other, it had been through a lot and that had shaped it. "The rain falls hard on a humdrum town," his voice was quiet, he knew he was being listened to, and that made him just a little tentative. The sound of his own voice sounded strange to him, and he wasn't sure if he liked it or not, "this town has dragged you down." His hands were elegant, they suited the instrument, and it looked good on him.

"Oh the rain falls hard on a humdrum town, this town has dragged you down," Gabe didn't make him feel all that uncomfortable, and he liked that. Though, his nerves had overtaken him just a little and his voice had dropped a few tones quieter, though it was still audible, and it was pretty, it was gentle, it was incredibly gentle, perhaps something that one could fall asleep to. "And everybody's got their life to live, and God knows I've got mine to live." He frowned a little, briefly flicking his hair from his face. The boy had a nice voice, though no one really realized it,since he was so nervous all the time.</div>
