Wild Goose Chase

This would be so much more fun than classes. Destin was all dressed up in his 'evildoer' costume, including a fancy black sack currently containing every roll of toilet paper, paper towel roll, napkin and tissue box in the house. He wanted to make it look like he was actually robbing them, even if it was just paper. He'd give it back later. Probably.

The masked paper-stealing villian deliberately set off an alarm so that what'shisnameagian would notice his presence and follow in pursuit. It was never any fun without the chase scene.

Destin smirked beneath the thick mask. It was hell to breath through this thing, and even worse to be running in a suit. But alley-oop, up he went. Parkour and evasion was his specialty. With the vigilante now in front if him, evasion was a trivial matter.

All it took was a simple kick off the edge of the building, flipping for dramatic effect while tipping his hat mid air and running off from the bottom of a fire escape. His hat released a volley of white doves in Aedan's direction.

"Catch that vigilante scum."


Masks were rather efficient in the crime business really. Changed your voice and your features so no one found you after.

A quick side glance at the shadows told Destin everything he needed to know, and that was: this guy was cheating. Where'd he get a grappling gun? He was closing in fast, but not fast enough.

A quick wish and a flip of his hat landed Destin on the top of a cloud, rising up while his new friend was on his way down. The young man gave a polite wave as he waited for his 'elevator' to reach the top.

Destin grinned behind his mask. Oh, this would be soooo much fun. As soon as Aedan got to the top of the building, Destin dropped off his cloud... Back to the ground. And then just casually walked in the front door. He played an audio clip of a young woman screaming from a speaker in one of the windows, then when his foolish target went to the rescue he slipped out the back. No longer was he a masked villian, but now an innocent student walking down the street with a small turtle on his head.

Within the room he'd led Aedan to was two straw scarecrows hidden behind the curtains, one wearing a wig and the other dressed up like Destin. Pinned to the dummy's hat was a note written in invisible ink, consisting of a 'better luck next time' and a doodle of a dick with a smiley face. Rather vulgar, but hopefully it would really piss him off.
