"I don't need to convince, you just need to believe," Bel quipped and then winked at Agnes before she walked into the kitchen and started pulling out stuff to make coffee. "Cream, milk, sugar, honey, sweetener..." Bel asked Agnes as she filled a pot with water and opened a can of coffee.

Believe my ass. But Agnes just shrugged and followed after Bel to the kitchen. She checked the windows, the blinds were closed so Agnes didn't have to worry about getting burned at least. And it wasn't like Bel was delivering any major burns.
"I drink it black. What was it that they say...like my soul?"
Agnes said and sat down on the small table they had set up in the common area.
"You've got sugar, honey and sweetener. I'm not the one whose teeth are getting cavities."

Bel flashed her a sardonic grin, "I don't need sweetener, hun, I'm enough..." as she poured hot water over the coffee and let it strain through until finally she had enough for two cups of black coffee.

"Here you go, I also take mine black, and strong," she said handing Agnes a cup too. "At least during the day, sometimes when I am studying, I'll add cream, maybe sugar..." she explained with a shrug.

"You new to this whole magic island thing too?" Bel asked as she took a seat on the couch.

Agnes just looked at Bel blandly when she said that overly cheesy line, though she was holding in a chuckle.
"Be careful to not touch my coffee then, I don't want any sweetness in it."
Agnes answered, and moment later received her cup. She said an absent thanks and set it on the table, waiting for it to cool down. Bel, for some reason, explained about her coffee drinking habits and Agnes just shrugged.
"Always black for me."

"Suppose you can say I'm new. Though I was in the islets for several months, if that counts."
Agnes blew on her coffee and sipped it. Yup, tasted like coffee. Though when she drank it it didn't feel the same as it had when she had been human. Because her body didn't exactly need this. It only needed blood to survive now.
"You don't seem all that magical. I'm a vampire, that much you seem to know, but what are you?"

"I'm not familiar with the islets," Bel said as she sipped her coffee, relishing in the dark bitterness of it. "What are they?" she asked curiously as she watched Agnes move around the kitchen.

Smiling somewhat at Agnes's question about her and what she was, "Sometimes the most magical creatures are the ones you don't expect to be," she said, "I'm actually Beltane, the Celtic goddess of Spring, or one of her incarnations anyways," Bel explained with a shrug.

Oh, so she didn't know. Agnes smirked a bit and leaned forward, her fangs peeked out a bit. She enjoyed trying to shock or scare people.
"The islets are the prison around these parts. Where they throw those that would end up going on a killing spree if they were free. I was like that."

"Wow, so deep."
Agnes answered with a monotone tone when Bel said the thing about magical creatures and shit. As for being a goddess, Agnes raised a brow and looked Bel up and down. Gotta say,
"I'm not surprised. You have a whole...spring vibe going on."
With those words Agnes took a slow sip from her coffee.

Bel raised an eyebrow at Agnes's explanation of the islets, not at all shocked by her fangs. However, she wasn't too sure if she was joking or not. Probably not, Bel thought as she eyed her over carefully, the girl's worthiness starting to shine through and it was somewhat dubious. Definitely not a pure soul, but not evil either, something in between like most people actually.

"A spring vibe? That almost sounded like a compliment, almost..." Bel grinned as she took a sip of her coffee.

"So what were the islets like?" she asked Agnes, interested in knowing more about the place and about her room mate.

Bel didn't freak out or anything and that was more than Agnes had expected of her. Well, naturally there was a careful look in her eyes, an idiot wouldn't be careful after someone told them what Agnes had just told Bel.

"Not as much of a compliment that an observation."
Agnes said with a shrug and sipped her coffee. What she meant with a spring vibe was that Bel was full of life but at the same time kinda annoying. Like spring.

Agnes raised an eyebrow at Bel's question, but shrugged and tapped a finger against her coffee cup. Under the table her leg was fidgeting.
"Full of lunatics, the ceilings and walls were lined with blood and graffiti and screams of pain echoed through the hallways."
Agnes was naturally joking, but she said it with a straight face and sipped her coffee nonchalantly.

"Observation, comment, compliment, it's all a matter of how you look at it¨" Bel stated, rather unfazed by Agnes offhanded comment. "And how you take it."

"Okay, Agnes, really? Lunatics and blood graffiti?" Bel stated rather incredulously as she folded her legs under her on the couch and sat cross-legged.

"I might have believed you if you hadn't said that, you gotta hold back on the shock value hun if you really want to shock, go for the creep value instead," she laughed, playing with the tips of her hair idly.

"With that attitude you could even take a death threat as a compliment."
Agnes pointed out, Bel was positive where as Agnes was negative. But in a way they both didn't really give a fuck. Weird way to be two sides of the same coin

"Who said I wanted to shock you? I'm just saying the truth. The place is full of weirdos, the walls and ceilings were red and the hallway by the art room was full of graffiti. And surprisingly many had night terrors, they screamed at night."
