((Flashback Thread: Occurs within a week after Live arrives on Manta Carlos Island approximately a year and a half ago.))
Cafeterias were the worst, at least in Live's mind. Mass produced food never tasted as good as the stuff she made for herself. However, Starlight Academy's cafeteria had proved to at least be decent. She wouldn't give it any more credit than that though; it was still a cafeteria after all.
What really sucked about this one was not knowing where to sit. She had been invited to join someone from her history class for lunch but as she saw the massive group he was sitting with she quickly turned and headed for a lone table on the opposite side of the room.
Life still felt like a shock right now. She could hardly believe she was attending a school full of kids just like her, let alone that it even existed in the first place. How they hadn't found her sooner really pissed her off.
Today was Taco Tuesday, which really made her cringe, and she stared at the taco salad she had created for herself. Suddenly, she didn't feel very hungry anymore.
