It has been a long time since the young man in ragged clothing had entered into a very nice and clean building. Coming from the Cold Winter in Austrailia, this Island is already a hundred times better in the weather aspect with its warm air and hot sun. Harper hated the Cold, especially when he had to sleep on the streets in cold weather in rain, since he had lacked a roof to sleep under. With the way he dressed currently, torn and blackended dirty patched clothing, jeans ripped at the knees, old sneakers, a white button shirt covered by a ragged olive green coat, a grey beanie held in his hand, and carrying a large black guitar case, which is probably the nicest thing he had in his possession. It was not his fault that he had no nice clothes to wear to such a nice school.
However, the thought of having nicer clothing on his back and a bed to sleep in excited him more than going to school. To have a place where he can finally say along the lines of 'Honey, I'm Home!' Overall, Harper was glad he made a good choice to start his new life here. To be able to fit in somewhere higher than 'homeless high school dropout.'
Harper had noticed that no one is in the room at the moment he opened the door into the office. Should he wait for the clerk to come back or should he just leave to look around the school before coming back? Then again, anyone would question why a homeless fellow is walking around the school. It took him a few moments before mentally shrugging. Whatever. He decided to walk around the building for a few moments. Hopefully, the reception person would return by the time he finish his tour.
