Who cares?

He rested lightly on his cane, his good eye looking around the lawn. He was completely detached from it all, taking it in as a cold observer. Perhaps, others would have noted the beauty of the place, but he only noted the people. Not their physical looks, more simply, their stances. Which ones had had a bad past, which ones were spoiling for a fight, he saw it all, through their simple, nearly missable body language.

"Well..This was one good choice.." he murmured sarcastically to himself, voice low and rough. His vowels boasted of a scottish accent, but he spoke so low, and his voice was so rough, that it was almost unnoticable.

As usual, his blind eye was covered by a bandage type thing, which also served as a bandana to keep his hair out of his good eye. He stood out rather spectacularily against the snow, with his red hair, and his completely black clothes, but he didn't care. Let someone talk to him. It'd be their loss. 'And mine too..' he added to himself. He adjusted his leather jacket with a single hand, pulling out a pill bottle and pouring two into his hand, popping them in his mouth and swallowing them without water.

A dry chuckle behind him.
"Popping pills already then, hmmm? Doesn't really give new students a good message, I suppose."
Judas Anderson floated before him, his eyes cold and dead, a wry smirk on his face, the juxtaposition rather odd.
"The academy isn't really that depressing, is it? Life got you down because you're missing an eye? Want a kleenex?"
Though his voice seemed pleasant, there was a hint of snideness.

Chain turned his gaze to the person floating in front of him, uncaring. He assumed that he'd just been dealt an insult of some sort, but he didn't really care. And he didn't bother to return the insult. "Yes, well, I suppose we'll find out, won't we?" He rested lightly on his cane, appearing to be completely at ease. But then, Chain was never truly at ease. His leg hurt too much.

He turned his eye away from this fellow, appearing to not notice him, while still surveying his surroundings. Life had taught him long ago how to read a person, and this particular person was one who would get a very hard, pointy piece of wood in them, if they tried to fight him.

Judas's hand pulsed as it detected the young fellow's power level, Judas arching his eyebrows curiously.
"New, aren't you? Not much of a talker though? You shouldn't be too shy on account of your physical lackings, Starlight can be an excrutiatingly kind place."

Gevurah walked into the lawn, six swords in the air, and one in either hand. He had felt that someone of incredibly strength was here, but he found two someones of incredible strength. Both are a danger to Nero...And that means they're a danger to me... He walked up to the two of them and nodded to each, showing that he was actually bothering to acknowledge them. "Might I interest you in a gentleman's challenge? I wish for little, I merely want to destroy you both.."

Judas turned at Gevurah, glancing at him like one would glance at a gnat on one's arm.
"Hmph. I'm not that bored. My sensors indicate you would be fun, but I have better things to do. I haven't returned to Starlight to pick off every other random fool, I did that for years before, I think I'll find something else to occupy my time now."
He paused.
"Besides, it's way too early for me to have blood on my hands already. I just did the laundry, your blood splattered on my coat would be a nuisance. Do you have any idea how expensive this coat was? Of course not, serf. If you want some fun, go handle 'Mr. Gloomy' over there. I let small fry handle each other."

OoC-ness:

Chain's 25...He's a teacher. xD He's most definately older than Judas.

Ic-ness:

He didn't bother to acknowledge Judas' comment. He didn't talk much, but when he did talk, it was directly to the point. He adjusted his hand on his cane, still leaning heavily on it. He'd already noticed several trees, and planned to use them to his advantage.

He turned his bored gaze to Gevurah. He took in his stature, body language, and tone, cataloging it. Then he spoke. "I'm guessing that you really don't care whether we accept or not, judging by your stance, and rather, challenge us to defend your honor. In any rote, I'd rather not fight you. Bum leg and all." his voice was low, gravelly, and completely emotionless as he still leaned on his cane.

[What are you referring to? The "young fellow" part? He's still a young fellow, it doesn't matter who's older or younger, that doesn't change. Also, Judas is condescending enough that it doesn't really matter.]
