Kagami lay flat on the floor in the middle of the ballroom. She was wearing a summer dress rather short but appropriate, it was strapless and she was wearing a small yellow overcoat and the dress color was teal. Her purple hair was untied and it appeared strewn across the floor. Her ears were normal today and her feet were bare.
She listened quietly with her eyes closed, she could hear the whispers of people that once stood in this room, if she listened especially close she could almost hear the band playing.
"You wonder how these things begin
Well this begins with a glen
it begins with a season, which, for want of a better word
we might as well call September.
It begins with a forest where the wood chucks woo
and leaves wax green
and the vines entwine like lovers.
Try and see it
not with your eyes for they are wise
but see it with your ears.
The cool green breathing of leaves
and hear it with the inside of your hand..."

She quietly recited her favorite monolouge from "The Fantastiks" by Tom Jones and Harvey Schmidt. She stopped suddenly though, not opening her eyes and a small smile grew across her lips.

The figure of a male was seen as he walked into the ballroom, his footsteps making no sound as he walked. Dark brown hair was in a shaggy disarray around him and bright green eyes seemed to rest upon the femme in the center of the room.

The male was clad in a white button up shirt, the long sleeves rolled over his elbows. His shirt was worn open with a black wife beater underneath. His pants were much more casual, them being jeans faded at the knees as well as artificially splattered with white paint. A black leather bracelet around his wrist and a shell necklace around him.

He leaned against one of the pillars, his hands crossed as he rested his foot against it and looked at the femme.
Quite impressive miss.

Kagami sat up slowly her eyes opening last as she looked at the male.
"Thank you." she said kindly and stood oh-so-carefully since she wasnt used to wearing a dress and once she was on her feet gave a small bow.
"And your name is?" she asked.

The male smiled at her and shrugged lightly.
You welcome.
He said casually in what seemed to be his way of doing, the lazy grin always present.

My name's Mikah.
He said calmly, bowing his head in return.
And you are?

Kagami walked over to the pillar and leanded on the wall opposite of him.

"I'm called Kagami. I'm sorry if my presence here bothered you." she said shrugging slightely."

Her smile was almost bigger now if that were possible.

"Why are you here anyway?"she asked in a somewhat rude tone.

Not at all, you were here first afterall.
He said with a light carefree shrug.

He followed her walking until she stopped and he couldn't help but shake his head, thinking to himself for a second.
I like this place. It brings me good memories and I like the architecture; it helps me relax. Is there a problem with that Miss?
He asked the last sarcastically, though his was a lighter playful tone.

What brings you here in contrast?
He finally asked.

Kagami shrugged slightly
Even if I was here before you, I would leave if I bothered you.
She said even though she wasnt sure if that was true.
Kagami smiled as he retorted with a rude remark of his own
No that doesnt bother me at all. This place is beautiful.
As for why I'm here, well I like the solitude of it.

She said looked at the ground pawing at it slightly with her foot.
