Where to go.

Diligo sat, looking out over the mountainside, where the Starlight Academy was clearly visible in the sunlight. Diligo sighed openly and patted Lorne, the obscure fox cub near him, on the head.

"You know Lorne, it seemed like a good idea at the time, but now I have no idea what to do with you. 'Tis a shame, that they don't allow animals in the dorms."

Diligo had offered to keep Lorne with him and find a home for the fox cub, but it had truly messed up his schedule. He was resolved now to enter the academy, but found that, with an animal with him, he really couldn't. Diligo once again considered his dilemma, Lorne sniffing around his hand. Somewhere in the backdrop, music began to sound.

"You know, Lorne, some religions claim god himself is musical sound. Hinduism, I think. I may not like religion much, but they could be right. Now that you're even listening to me, you fox."

Diligo stood, watching the girl's awkward running style (though she was incredibly fast) and then, like he predicted, watching her trip over a rock. Lorne walked over and began to sniff at the girl's head, and Diligo laughed Heartily for the first time in years. He heard the girl, Ren, her name was, introduce herself.

"My name? Among this realm's habitants, I'm known as Diligo." Diligo replied. He offered his arm to help Ren back up. "What do you hope to accomplish, running that way? I realize you're extremely swift, but you won't be able to avoid stumbling and the like with those methods."

Diligo was no stranger to agility, having blades lying dormant in the bottoms of his feet, and being able to use them at will, being almost like an ice skater. But that wasn't too important, Diligo rarely used any of his cybernetic enhancements.

"But never mind that... What are you doing upon these mountaintops?"

"Yes, he is, really." Diligo said, smiling. "Partly because the guy's a fox. Partly because of the way I've ended up with him." Diligo looked at Lorne and the fox's glistening eyes stared back curiously.

"Yet he's so much trouble. I'd never think of giving him up, but we've been sleeping in the forest for 3 days now, I have to find a place for him to stay soon, else I can't enter school."

"Scraps of metal? Unfortunately I haven't, sorry. My name's Diligo, by the way. And this is Lorne."

Diligo hopped up atop the rock where Moonlight and Sparky were staying, Lorne is his arms.

"Thing is, Lorne possesses no supernatural traits, and, far as it goes, is still an infant. If I leave him by himself too long, I'm not entirely sure how he'd do."
