As a water nymph, Katya had to be soaked regularly to be able to live without trouble. So when she heard of the lake on campus, she had been elated - yes, people came there often but at least during the night she would not encounter many. Someone told her that there were nocturnal creatures that attended here as well, but what were the chances that they too would come to the lake? Surely they had classes to attend instead of walking around. The Russian Nymph found the lake to be perfect, and had been diving in almost nightly. The water offered some kind of comfort from her years trap in the freezing waters of her homeland, and she eagerly swam through the waters.

Occasionally the young woman would peak out of the surface of the water, her soft green hair floating in the waters around her but she never really saw anyone that was trouble to her. Her belongings sat hidden in the rocks, along with part of her studies. Before and after she swam she tried to get some studying in, and not be entirely unproductive while she was here. The nymph dove through the lake, her hands brushing against the bottom and kicking up dust. For some time, she kind of just let her body float there in the water her eyes closed as she just... savor the feeling of how the water cradled her frame.

Katya slowly opened her eyes, appreciating the sight of the night sky from under the waters of the lake. Her body fell back to the bottom of the lake, where she pushed with her feet to swim to the surface. The surface broke, her soft green hair sticking to her features as she felt the cool air rush through her lungs and revitalize the lungs that stopped truly needing air long ago.

Soren Haine landes silently at the edge of the lake, the young nephilim wasn't nocturnal but he had developed a taste for the night life.

He folded his wings over his shoulders and looked over the lake admiring it, when a girl with green hair broke the surface. He tilted his head and waved at her, "nice night. Hope I'm not interrupting."

Katya whipped her head at the source of the noise, her eyes narrowing at the new figure in the darkness. It had taken some time for her eyes to adjust to the darkness just as any humans, but from her years of hunting in it she seemed to have a little bit of a better understanding of how to navigate the darkness and it's vague outlines.

The girl studied him for a moment as if trying to assess if he was actually worth a kind of response. However, given she has been trying to push herself to be a little more... well, 'normal', she figured she should probably greet him. "You're not. This is a public lake, after all." Normal was kind of relative, though. Perhaps she was trying to be more like herself before the transformation even if she was not aware of it - but either way she knew she would have to adapt to this new environment.

"And you are?" Inquired of the young woman, her Russian accent bouncing off the surface of the water.
