"It is a tradition in my community to name a child after the sound of the wind when they hatch. The wind was gentle when I was born, but I hear it quickly turned into a storm."
Huilu explained, the wind hadn't literally named her. Huilu merely preferred putting things in a more inspiring way, how she would've wanted to hear them.

"You are welcome. Sometimes you need others to see new things about yourself."
Giving Leeroy a new point of view made Huilu feel content, and happy for him. She had a way of looking at the world that let her see good and beauty in everything. Huilu also saw a lot of darkness and repulsive things, but she acknowledged them only when they endangered others. And Huilu had not seen darkness in Leeroy yet, only a helpful, thoughtful person.
And being able to make him laugh was another kind of accomplishment Huilu was happy about, she wasn't usually good with jokes with strangers.

Leeroy didn't get cold? Huilu looked at him with slight surprise, but didn't start asking what exactly he was. Many creatures were immune or resistant to the cold, her race included. Well, Huilu wasn't immune to the cold, quite the opposite indeed.
"That is quite convenient, I am slightly envious."
Huilu said with a small chuckle, she was actually getting a bit cold right now and she wasn't sniffling just because she had cried.
Huilu was yet again a bit surprised when Leeroy offered to accompany her. This made her hesitate a bit, but Huilu had to admit she didn't quite want to be alone. And Whisp, S'loo and Eein were at school so the house was empty, and although Huilu was done with her work for today she didn't want to bother her other family members.
"I was actually going to head to the park. To make statues from ice and snow. It can be slightly dull to simply watch it, you do not need to come with me."

Hearing of her culture had Leeroy intrigued. His life before the island, at least what he wanted to remember, was rather mundane. It was weird that the place he called home in his younger years was termed the “narrow reality”, as if to say he had spent his formative years in ignorance. Then again, he couldn’t entirely fault the phrase. He, like every non-islander resident of this dimension, didn’t think dragons were more than a fairy tale. And yet here he was, trying to console one’s feelings. Funny how that happened.

Though, to his surprise, she herself got cold. He raised a brow, curious about this new revelation. "Really? I never would have guessed." He said. Luckily though she didn’t look as if she was in great discomfort, which was why she seemed to have other outdoor activities planned.

She was going to the park, which was usually on Leeroy’s way back to his apartment. "Well, my apartment is across the street from the park anyway. I suppose I should cut my run around the island short anyway, since it’s probably gonna get bad out." He didn’t want to sound weird or offputting, but admittedly he did want to tag along with someone on the way back. "And nothin’ can be duller than runnin’ in this weather." He assured, chuckling a bit.

"Want to tag along?"

Huilu'd weakness of the cold she and her young cousin Shul shared was the result of a genetic error, or so Huilu's another cousin Thiul had theorized based on the extensive DNA test she had done on as many members of Akt'Anir as possible. And it was the reason why Huilu had to wear multiple layers even on relatively warm winter days.
"Not many do, rather I would applaud anyone who could. I suffer from a rare condition among my kind, an ice dragon that feels and suffers from the cold."
Huilu smiled while saying this, this weakness wasn't something she felt burdened to have. Rather she was happy to be different, happy to have a feature that let her see the world differently. Uniqueness was a gift.

Huilu hoped Leeroy wasn't just being nice and lying about his apartment being close to the park. She didn't want him to go through trouble just for her. But...Huilu appreciated Leeroy's kindness, and she smiled at the man.
"Well, in that case...I'd be delighted to have your company."
Huilu had apparently solved her problem of not wanting to be alone. Leeroy seemed like good company, and Huilu found herself looking forward to this.
"We shall see if you would have rather ran the rest of the way than look me create sculptures."
Huilu chuckled a bit, and began walking past Leeroy and towards the woods, waiting for the man to follow her.
