Where does the wind blow?

He blinked open one eye. "I'm not sleepy," he said, righting himself up again, flapping his strange feeble wings. He adjusted his coat, and watched the lake in front of him, flowing slowly and rippling in the waters.

"Do you think there's any fish in here?" he asked, pinting at a dark shape under the water. "Because I think I missed fish when I was writing."

Klay leaned up a bit to eye the dark object in the water. The she leaned back down, picking up her notepad, and writeing him another note.
If you can anex or add a few lines to your poem, I'll add it to my drawing.

"Alright, let's see..."

He grabbed his notepad and began to edit his poem a bit.

I sit here, watching the ripples form
the birds fly
leaves rustle in the light
The calm sensation of the crystal-like waters
encaptures me in its wonders
As I wonder for the second time
Where does the wind blow?
Where does the water go?
the shadows in the water
swimming fishes among the reefs
watching me
As do I.

"Well, it isn't that bad, I guess. But my poem writing skills have rusted," he said, slightly smiling and showing her the notepad. There were many arrows around it, moving sentences around, and after that he had written additions near the bottom.

Klay looked over it and nodded, flipping to a new page and starting a new drawing. A few minutes later, when she showed it to him, it was from the side, showing below the water, to schools of fish swimming among reefs, while on shore sat Stephen, and next to him, Klay, while above them clouds and birds passed by.
The disturbance flickered over the water. Klay dropped her pad and turned to the water, instinct telling her something wasn't right. She stood up and reached her hand back to where her bow rested on her back, her wings slowly coming out of her back.
Just as ''Nessy'' (A giant green monster snake) appeared out of the water, Klay sprang high into the air, trying to keep the monster's attentoin of Stephen. She notched a poisoned arrow to her bow. It was not like the normal poison she used, it was one of the strongest she had. But she knew it would do no more them knock the crteature out cold for a few minutes. As it leaned down to bite her, she shot it into its mouth, but she had no luck, and it bounced off one of it's teeth. Her eyes widened as darkness envolped her, then sunlight as it spat her out, and her luck was getting worse, because she hit a tree. There were teeth marks all over her, and most were bleeding.

Events happened in quick sucession as his new found friend slammed into a tree. Towering befre him was a dark slimy green snake thing that just came out of the lake. The Loch Ness Monster. Or Nessie for short. [^_^]

Stephen dropped his notepad and ran away from the gaze of the monster, who was looking at the injured Klay. Worried, he tried concentrating on his powers, gathering rainclouds, but they dispersed when the snake thing swung a tail at him. (Since when does Nessie has a tail? o.O) He rolled over on the ground, and tried standing up but he wasn't used to acrobatics and he almost broke his back doing that.

He tried his powers again, being more successful as hail the size of baseballs raining on the monster. It roared a high-pitched roar in pain and turned its glowing yellow eyes are Stephen who gulped considerably. Well at least, Klay wasn't being eaten, again. He shivered at the though, and ran away from more mouth, yet it just missed his wings.

It pounded some more hail but it ignored the rocks. They were just freezing balls of ice. No big. Just attack the two people at the lake that disturbed it from its sleep. Then, it flung its head sideways and sent Stephen crashing into the tree head-on. Blood falling down his head, he wondered what would happened if he could've just ran. He breathed deeply, and gazed over at Klay, hoping she was alright.

((I thought it had always had a tail  ))

Klay winced as she painfully stood up. Of course, she was trained to take pain as if it was a consequence, but killing something this big in her assassin way ws impossible, and her powers would do not good. She ignored how much pain her ribs were in (that was the place were she had gotten bitten the worse) and start to make her way over to Stephen. Just because she could hardly move her arms didn't mean she couldn't help him up. Besides, if he could stick to the shadows like she does, he'd a fine. Better then Klay was doing, anyway.
And that;s just what Klay did. She held up an arm and waited for him to grab it so they could run, if he could run.
