Where am I?!

Mark took a step back in response to her push, then quickly reacted and pushed her back, hard. "Your name means nothing! I see actions, and actions make up who you are more than a name!" He yelled at her.

"You yelled at me for saving you from dying! That's stupid!" He yelled back at her. He didn't care that he had pushed her even if she was a girl. Girls shouldn't be treated that much differently, and besides, she had pushed him first.

That pissed him off majorly, worse than her pushing him. He hated cats severely, and it immediately showed as he whirled around. Concentrating in one white-hot moment, a wall of flames sprung up in front of her so she couldn't go any farther without going through them. Keeping the flames from devouring too much, he moved closer to her and grabbed her shoulder, attempting to turn her around. "Do not ever do that again!" He told her angrily.

Mark glared down at her, his eyes bright silver by now. "I..hate...cats." He said through gritted teeth. The flames stayed where they were, but they were quickly heating up the hallway. He kept them going without them actually doing anything to the walls or floor, the latter just getting burnt slightly. He didn't want to have to replace anything if it got ruined.

Mark closed his eyes and calmed down, the fire nearly diminished. When he opened them again, they were restored to their normal smokey color. "Look, I don't like cats, bad experience." he told her simply. He sighed and the rest of the fire went out. "I didn't really mean to freak out on you, I just don't like them, okay?" He looked at her, not nearly as angry as before.
