When you Challenge a Water Dragon

She slowly blinked opened her eyes and then laughed as she could see his stoic face slipping into a smile. It seemed they shared a certain sense of humor there. "Of course, can't you tell by the black clothing and tattoos? Only the finest of cultural selections please me," she replied, very tongue-in-cheek. But she did honestly feel that way about the song. Upbeat and it really seemed to fit her.

Tuesday nudged him back, though it had far less physical effect than his did. "Oh I can do hardcore and grungy too, but sometimes the best things are a little softer and... playful," she smirked as she brushed her fingers down the length of his arm. She looked towards the water softly burbling and rippling in response to his humming. Accompanying him by singing the words was an idea that came to mind but, well she wasn't nearly as talented with that as he was and she didn't want to ruin it so she stayed silent until the song was more or less done.

"You know this is pretty chill for being kidnapped by a dragon," she teased. "Maybe I should have tried it sooner."

Tuesday had to laugh. He was definitely far more chill than some other dragons she'd encountered. "Good. A whole bunch of men would just be distracting and get in our way," she smirked as she deliberately pulled his arm a little tighter around herself.

The faint jangle of the metal charm on her choker accompanied the shaking of her head. "No, no. Music can be shared and enjoyed by everyone but singing skills definitely arent so widespread. I can do it, but only if you want sorority night at a karaoke bar level singing."

But despite her protesting she decide to go for it anyways. What did she have to lose? It wasnt quite as bad as she claimed, but it wasnt great either.

She laughed at his eye rolling. The Drakenhardts were fairly well known, and so were their usual antics. But the rest of the crowd wasn't there. Just Marric, Tuesday and their little private beach. Maybe it was trying a little too hard, but Tuesday could appreciate the hustle. And it was working pretty well.

His voice joined hers and it was pretty clear how much better he was at singing but it was still fun and in the end all it did was draw the two of them closer. Especially as he manifested his tail to loop around along with his arm on the one side and his body and head pressed against her on the other. Cuddling with a dragon- who knew. "I've a little more experience chanting spells than actual singing but thanks. And you totally don't have to sit karaoke out. Just pick songs you wouldn't normally sing so we get to poke fun at you too."

She turned her attention to the newly added tail encircling them both. "Talk about cheating though," she smirked as she ran her hand along what she could reach of the snake-like appendage before teasing him a little more with, "if I want to show off any more than I have i'll have to just undress or something." A statement accompanied by a flirty wink and a glance down at her loose skirt and sheer top that was still somewhat concealing her bikini.

Tuesday was never someone you would call 'tame'. Quite the opposite. She knew what she wanted to do to "show off" and, with her dragon companion's assent, the fiery witch turned-peacock made sure to display all her pretty feathers over the course of an hour or two.

She knew exactly what she was doing- had done similar things on plenty of occasions before, so she was pretty satisfied on how her own little performance went. And hopefully Marric agreed.

Ultimately Tuesday covered back up with her bikini afterwards but she left off the skirt and cover-up shirt. Curled up with the dragon and displaying her back tattoos as she smiled over at him. "Like I said. Singing isn't really my thing, but I'm pretty good at being entertaining."

She smiled back at him, pleased that he had enjoyed it as much as she had. And as he coiled his tail around the two of them she reached out to circled an arm around it. It felt sturdy and scaled but not uncomfortable. Like a living shield to protect her.

"I could... but 'enchantress' sounds way too lofty for me. I'm gritty and messy and tons of fun but I don't have nearly enough poise for an enchantress. Besides. I didnt use magic. Just my own natural charms," she laughed a little as she leaned in to give him a kiss.

"What about you rockstar? Did you learn anything new about yourself today?" She asked as she glanced out at the sky and surf. At some point she probably needed to mention her thing about not being woken up after dark. A few people she'd been with had panicked from that particular cursed effect.
