"Hmm so if you've been seeing the sealife around here I guess I have a lot to live up to. I'm not exactly a mermaid. But that said, if you start singing 'under the sea' you'll be sleeping with the fishes," she threatened goodnaturedly as they approached Marric's hidden cove.

It looked peaceful and quiet. Not that she really felt like she would prefer being at a public beach with everyone else but... well she supposed they'd just have to keep things lively enough to stave off quiet insanity. Good thing Marric was a singer and Tuesday was anything but shy and demure.

"I have some tricks up my loose, see-through sleeves though," she added before reciting an incantation. It took the better part of a minute, with her voice somewhat mingling with his humming, before her spell finished. Nothing fancy at all. Just an attempt at dumping about two handfuls of warm water on his head. She didnt know if it would work, given his power over water, but it was funny either way. The effort though did cause her to breathe heavier for a few moments and actually stumble a bit.

"Eh, wouldn't be the first time," Marric said in response to sleeping with the fishes. It's not much of a threat when you can breathe underwater anyway. His expression was smug for sure. The cove was definitely peaceful when he wanted it to be, but it also had some really nice acoustics. Kind of perfect for when you're showing off your skills to someone.

As Tuesday began to recite her own incantation, Marric did try and sync up his humming to it. He felt the water as it was conjured, and effectively pulled it to his free hand at the last second. "Gotta say, see through sleeves aren't so great for hiding tricks."

He was about to splash her with her own water when he noticed her breathing and walking. Not an ideal situation from where Marric was standing. "Hey now, party hasn't even started yet," and with that he lifted her into his arms.

"Guess I'll just..." he seemed to crouch a bit before they took off at a decently faster speed. If Tuesday looked she'd definitely notice he'd shifted from the waist down. It would become even more apparent when the came ashore in the cove. Marric set Tuesday down, then slithered onto the beach, shifting his legs back to normal as he did. "We made it. Welcome to... one of my spots. It doesn't really have a name..."

Tuesday had pretty much expected he'd prevent her little prank from succeeding, but she'd done it anyways because the idea was amusing. And had the prank worked it would have been hilarious. It certainly did have some unexpected results though. She let out a quiet yip borne of mixed excitement and surprise as he picked her up in his arms and headed for land.

Arms she didn't exactly mind being held in. Shameless. Tuesday relaxed into it, looping one arm around behind his neck as she was delightfully ushered onto the shore. If there was just a bit of hesitation before she removed her arm... well, she had to let him know he hadn't lost her attention so far.

"What's in a name anyway?" She asked one of the most ironic questions she could have. Yes, definitely no meaning at all- person whose whole coven had to change their names to avoid people having absolute power of them by using their true names. But Tuesday just smiled and shrugged before adding, "besides I'm far more interested in what you do here than what you call it."

She smoothed out part of her skirt and then looked around for somewhere to sit down. "So mister expert in making the girls swoon, both on land and at sea, how will you captivate me today? Or maybe I should work on my magic again so I fall right back into your arms?" As she said that she did slide over close to him as he shifted back. It really was nice and... well a perfect place to sneak away to with a pretty girl for a while.

"Well now that we're here I can just cut loose with my command over the sea... or something. Well I could always do that, but this time I've got a crowd of one," Marric was reaching back and pulling out his guitar, tuning it a bit. He played a couple notes, the water seemed to ripple in response.

He played a few more notes, warming up. The water swirled, and danced around their feet. He wasn't playing anything in particular, but it was still something with enough of a rhythm. "Hm... what is a good Tuesday song..." he mused. "Probably something bold and energetic right? That's like half my stuff on Spotify anyway..."

As he said this the music was becoming more consistent. It was a familiar melody from one of his band's more popular songs. Water was taking intricate shapes, and dancing around them in sync with the music. He still kept decently close to Tuesday as he played.

"Big fan of cutting loose here so please do. And yes, bold and energetic is very much my style too," she replied as he began to play for her. A smile crossed her lips as she felt like she recognized the song a little, and she very clearly relaxed as the sounds of the music filled the air around them. Like a certain unseeable pressure was driven off by the very melody.

Tuesday stayed near Marric but she wasn't content to sit still just yet. Perhaps at a later moment, but for now she reached out with the stump of her right wrist, feeling the way this enchanted water moved.

"You really are quite the showman. We'll see if you're as bold as your music is," she laughed and it seemed she was genuinely enjoying the performance. A complex gesture from her hand and some muttered words mixed with the song in a symbiotic way. It wasn't singing but it did seem to almost tap into the energy of the moment. And then harmless colored lights began to appear here and there throughout the shifting water figures and shapes. Tuesday panted a little and had to sit down but she was at least contributing to the display in a small way.

"Well I am a musician, putting on a good show is about as important as the music itself. You seem to have a knack for showmanship yourself," Marric said in response to her addition to the performance. It still seemed to take a lot out of her to do even a small trick like the light show she'd put on. He decided to take a seat next to her after he'd finished the song.

"You doing alright?" he asked. He had a feeling she was, but when you see someone need to take a minute after casting a spell it was only polite. "That light show seemed to knock you off your feet in the not so fun way."

Tuesday took a moment to catch her breath and casually leaned against Marric as he sat next to her. She hadn't exactly planned to come across as weak and in need of being cared for but.... well, who would complain about having a nice strong dragon man to lean against. Especially one who was already whisking her away to a private beach and singing to her.

"Yeah, i'll be ok. Magic spells always take something to power them. Maybe i'll hold off on casting for a bit though so I can save my energy. I'm far better an entertainer than I am a showgirl," Tuesday winked and turned her head to the side playfully as she dug her toes into the sand.

"I would like to see your idea of knocking me off my feet in a good way though. Call me curious."

"Lemme guess, this is where the candles come in? Kinda like me with musical instruments, noise making things make it easier for me to control water," he welcomed her leaning on him, reciprocating by leaning into her lean.

"Oh right I'm supposed to be doing that aren't I? Well I could say something pretty and poetic say something like how if you listen you can hear the sea singing. Or I could just be literal and use a giant wave," he grinned and looked at her. "If this were way back in the day I would've probably just charmed you, pissed your family off, leveled a small village, and whisked you off to some island that's tough to just get to. As my kind are often assumed to doing."

"Still, dazzling water shows, and crazy music... everyone kinda expects that stuff from me. I can make you a seashell necklace. What's your favorite song? Like that one you can kinda go to no matter what kinda day you're having... almost like a best friend."

Tuesday laughed and nodded. "Something like that, yeah. Give me a candle making supplies and some time to get just the right spell and I can really get something going. Or I can just sit by other people and give them a little nudge with their magic," she teased as she bumped him with her wrist.

She continued to playfully turn her head to the side, letting her short hair drape off to the side. Her eyes sparkling with amusement at all this. "You're nowhere near as scary as the other monsters my family faces but... if you have to kidnap me for a little while to knock me off my feet i'm not complaining," she replied with a grin and a wink. Dodging the hints at less pleasant things while still teasing him. "I like bold. I'm not gonna live forever so i'm gonna enjoy every bit of it I can."

Her favorite song though. That was a tough one. Tuesday had spent a good portion of her life with various endless playlists to listen too. When you can't ever let it be quiet you tend to really go through some songs. Good and bad, sometimes just the noise was enough to be comforted. But, as she wound some strands of her hair around one finger, she did feel like there was at least one she could say fit that 'best friend' idea.

She didn't really ever get embarrassed any more. Not really. But she knew some things were fodder for teasing. "Alright but if you laugh I'll... i'm sure I can find something to do to get you back," she grinned and then closed her eyes as if it was going to be some big dramatic reveal. "Dancing Queen by ABBA. I can always put that on and it cheers me up. pretty sure it makes Cami groan though."

"Dancing Queen..." Marric mused as he looked to Tuesday. He had a pretty serious look on his face too. That is until his lips curled into a smile, and he began to laugh. "Dammit, I'm mad my guess was close, so close. I figured like It's My Party, or something by Queen. That said, I'm glad to know I'm here with a woman of culture. Unfortunately I didn't pack a hair brush to sing into."

Marric nudged her playfully. "For the record, I'm laughing with you not at you. It's kinda nice getting an answer that's not something that's uh... metallic? Metal? Hard and grungy?... You get my drift."

At this point he was vaguely humming the melody. Though it was soft and quiet, water was still visibly reacting to the sounds.
