As water came flying out of Kaya's mouth, Live realized that she may have forgotten to mention Loveless to her friend and felt her face begin to burn red. Especially when Kaya began to probe Live for more information. She stopped her eating and leaned back in her chair, scratching her head a bit before crossing her arms and letting out a sigh.
"He's uh, this guy I met at a party. He's a demon guy. Lust demon, actually but he's uh, not what I expected. I mean..." Oh, geez what did she mean? Live had only met Loveless just over a week or so ago and her head was still reeling with what exactly was going on. He was like a vortex that she could feel herself being sucked into and was helpless to pull herself out of.
She let out a heavy sigh, "We aren't dating. But... I don't know. I can't tell if he just likes me cause he's a lust demon and likes everything or if there is actually something there. Normally when I'm interested in someone it's just like, 'Oh hey, you're hot and I'm lonely so let's just be a thing until one of us can't stand the other one anymore.' But, the way I feel around him..." Live's face was really red now, "I feel like I'm caught in something I might never want out of, and that scares the hell out of me."
Most of Live's waking hours and even sleeping hours had been spent thinking about Loveless. He was a stranger. Someone she just happened to run into. So how come she felt like he was a magnet and she was a piece of solid iron. She prided herself in being independent. In not feeling like she really relied on anyone. But then again, she was also sitting in a room with the first person she had ever been able to call her best friend who saved her from death and gave her the best job in the world.
She groaned and dropped her head, her hands coming up to rub her face. She really hated emotions sometimes.
