Addy was very excited, she had convince Pyris to give teach her old Norse. In fact she was incredibly surprised that she had managed to convince him of anything. She had a hard time judging what was what and she really liked him. Of course that could be said for a lot of people, but Addy was Addy. She had told herself, that this wouldn’t be a repeat of her best friend. This was just a hot foreign guy, who was gonna teach her a new language. Yes she went to his place, with an ulterior motive, but he didn’t need to know that.
She had her bag slung over her shoulder, with a bag of skittles and her notebooks for the study session. The skittles were more like a bribe...for what she had no idea yet. She was just trying to control the bouncing so he didn’t think she was more of a nut job, than people already assumed she was. She managed to calm down by the time she got to the door and knocked on it.
She was mentally trying to calm the nerves, she was here for a reason...well reasons and she was going to finish the mission. Of course she had no idea how to actually go about the whole flirting with Pyris thing. It was easier when it was just having fun and joking around. People always assumed she was flirting right off the jump anyways. However, actually flirting with someone...on purpose… she was incredibly lacking in that department. In fact, she never really had to flirt with someone because people normally flirted with her and all she had to was smile laugh, and give them a few encouraging arm brushes.
The thing about Addy was that she had absolutely no idea how to go about flirting and seducing people that didn’t already show they were interested in her. That’s why she tended to go for easy targets, because she needed the practice. Then she got fond of them, because she didn’t like hurting people when she didn’t have too. By the time the door was opened she had talked herself in and out of the lessons. She couldn’t bail because he had already taken time out of his day to teach her.
“Hey Pyris!” She said, trying to dial back the normal enthusiasm she had throughout the day. She had a horrible sinking feeling, that she was going to royally fuck this up. She didn’t want to be negative, but she realized as she walked in...that they were alone...and she had no safety net.
“So...uhm...let's get started?”
