Levina smiled playfully as Lucretia reached to fix her hair. It was yet another distraction that she was thankful for. A hand reached for her glass again, and took a sip of it. While crisp, it wasn't hitting the spot.
"Well believe it then because I do. When it comes to business, I'm damn good at what I do, so I expect to used fully and not have my talents wasted."
Her voice carried a bit of sass. Levina was extremely confident in every aspect of her life, except being good enough for someone. That lacking was why she was do good as a personal assistant. She always strived to do and be better. Just with Mathos there was a more personal connection there that she didn't want to let on to.

" If you believe you are being used to the best of your ability then I cannot say otherwise." She wore a snarky grin baring some of her pointed teeth. " I'm merely questioning if the loyalty and care you afford him is reciprocated. If someone better were to come along would he hesitate to drop or demote you or do you have so much faith in the relationship you built that even where you fall short you are irreplaceable?"

Lucretia was confident in her position given her ties to the syndicate and long term friendships with nearly all of the higher up in the casino and adjacent companies. Plus if she were to be sent off she was solid in her belief that her relationships and financial situation would be just fine. If anything it'd be like giving her a personal vacation at this point in her career. She only worked for the thrill and because her family needed her.

Lucretia gave a small yawn as the calming scents were getting to her. This job had a way of creating unnecessary stress. The level of money that flowed through the place made her job the most important next to the accountants and hospitality managers.

If she fell short was she still irreplaceable? It was a fear that Levina lived with everyday. Was she good enough for those that meant the most to her? What would happen if she wasn't?
"Yes. I have positioned myself to be invaluable in more than just my direct skills. Should bad terms come up and I leave for uh...rivals...I have the ability to ruin the company with what I know."
The knowledge she had had nothing to do with Immortal and everything to do with Mathos Sandoval himself. She wouldn't dare divulge that knowledge however, but the fact that she knew made her indispensable.
"You are very curious on the state of my employment. Thinking of snatching me up?"

" I did offer to steal you away but you were very clear I couldn't but after hearing from you now I don't think I'd want an employee like you. A person who'd sabotage their former business isn't trustworthy no matter how loyal they claim to be." Lucretia sipped her new drink before speaking again. "But you do have my attention, any company that could be ruined by the knowledge of a higher-up must have some tasteful secrets." she gave a small chuckle.

" Let me guess your alcohol has a little extra kick in it, or maybe something more sinister like cheap glass bottles." Lucretia gave another chuckle. The Blank Slate was home to a few retailers but the accounting sector made sure those who were in positions of power didn't abuse it or know more than they needed to about the going on's of other parts of the business.

Levina chuckled a bit as she sipped more of her water. She shook her head and set the water down quickly. Switching her legs that were crossed, Levina looked back up to Lucretia with a smile.
"No no, you've got it wrong. I wasn't trusted with these things as a sort of compensation for my loyalty and silence. I was trusted with it because I am loyal and won't tell, regardless of where I find myself. If I wasn't trusted, I wouldn't know, and if the loyalty wasn't returned, I wouldn't still be working for him. As I said before, I have plenty of offers constantly, many with plenty more money."
The blue haired woman shook a finger at Lucretia as she began picking fun at what trade secrets she might know.
"Tsk tsk. A lady never tells her secrets."

"Mmm I'll just have to keep an eye on the news then. I can see it now 'Alcohol goes bankrupt following quality scandal' it'd be a fun way to start my breakfast." Lucretia could honestly care less but it would certainly put a smirk on her face to see the company Levina so heavily defended go through some trouble.

Lucretia moved back to her original position leaving some space between the two of them. " I guess I'll just have to coax it out of you in time. Seeing as I know you are stalking me now I doubt this will be our last meeting...though next time bring some friends. If they are as bad as you then they should be a major payday for the place." Lucretia grinned at the idea of what kind of company Levina called friends. If they were anything like her then it is a nonstop yelling fest, or they would be subservient masses who dealt with her abrasive nature.

Levina wrinkled her nose at Lucretia's jests about Immortal. If she only knew what secrets Levina was actually holding, but that was none of her business and the blue haired assistant made sure to stay away from that subject.
"No way. I can assure you the quality of all of our products. There have been plenty of shipments I have personally had returned because they did not meet our standard. Mr. Sandoval expects only the best from anything he deals with."
She wanted Levina to bring friends. Who would she bring if that was even a thing? Usually in cases like this, she would meet some stranger there, run them for a few drinks and move on. She wasn't usually one to get attached or make a thing out of it. A snicker leaded in before she spoke again.
"There is no way in hell that I am going to be returning to these slot machine things. And the I doubt the people I would bring along would find them enjoyable as well."

"I'll be sure to give you some private lessons the next time you come by that way you don't discourage our other guests from playing. A sore loser isn't good for business when it comes to a casino." She smirked

"Plus who knows maybe your friends are far better gamblers than you. Next time maybe try your hand at some cards. It'll probably serve you better....or worse. Either way is good for me I guess." Lucretia caught a strange smell in the air that made her eyes dart to another entrance into the lounge but the person was not there from what she saw.

It wasn't beyond her ex-husband to be walking around the area, especially stalking her for laughs and their own curiosity. Every couple of seconds she would look back toward the door to see if someone was coming but no one ever did.

"All of that sounds way better than what I was doing. I can see one of them being decent at gambling."

Levina watched Lucretia continuously looking towards the door. Was she expecting someone? Or did she see something that concerned her? Electric blue eyes narrowed for a moment before she spoke.
"You waiting on someone?"
Her crossed leg bounced a little as she awaited the answer. It wasn't an issue if Lucretia was. Levina just wondered if her presence was now intruding or not. She didn't really care nor did she worry about having to find her way around alone. She was resourceful as well as a pretty enough face she could get what and where she needed to leave.

"I smell someone familiar but don't see them is all." She didn't put too much thought or enthusiasm into the statement. As long as Ovidio kept their distance then she would be just fine with not having to toss him out a window or killing him...again. Putting aside the issue she turned more toward Levina and gave a mischievous grin "Don't worry you all have my undivided attention." She said fixing her hair behind her broad shoulders.

" Plus I wouldn't drag you up here just to abandon you. The very least I would do is throw you out on to the street....or have one of my staff do it since I'm off work now."
she gave a small and strong chuckle.
