Levina smiled and chuckled as she got to her feet to follow. She had no reason to fight Lucretia's suggestions at this point. It wouldn't change either one's opinion of the other.
"Oh I'll use it just fine. Just don't call me it."
She bounced along down the hallway as she had to the room. Confident stride and a shake in her hips that demanded attention from those she passed. She scoffed at the suggestion that she almost looked good enough to work the floors.
"Please. If I worked here the others would be upset. You know, taking their business and all."
Levina knew she was extremely attractive. Nothing could change her confidence in that, well, nothing but one person, and he wouldn't be seen here.

Rolling her eyes at Levina's sweetie comment Lucretia turned to take a more comprehensive look at Levina. She scanned her hair, her face, her arms, legs, hips, nails, and even her ears. It didn't take her long to take it all in but even then she was sure Levina could tell she was deeply staring at her. "You know......you may be right. There is a market for loud and annoying sex workers. You'd probably be the best after a couple of years."

Lucretia turned around and kept on walking before immediately saying "You could also stand to put on some more flesh. I'm afraid even if I were gentle with you something might get broken." Lucretia gave a very thick and accented chuckle as the double doors to the lounge came into view. From outside low music could be heard and there was the slight scent of Lavender diffusing outward from the cracks in the door.

Levina saw that Lucretia was taking her in. The flawless skin, near perfectly symmetrical face, and curves where they counted. Levina never had doubts on her look, but that was when her host mentioned there was a market for a certain niche of sex workers. While she was certain Lucretia was referring to legal work, Levina was ripped back to her past.
'You're gonna make me a pretty penny.' The saying flashed through her mind and she closed her eyes a moment, repressing the memory before she was brought back to the present by the heavy accented laugh.
"Honey many have tried. I bounce back pretty quick."
Levina put a smile on and saw them approaching a set of doors. There music could be heard lowly from outside and another pleasant scent filled her nostrils. This place seemed more her speed.

Lucretia stopped at the twin doors and turned to look at Levina "If people are trying to break you so numerously and frequently you'd do best to avoid them. Bouncing back isn't required when you are capable of dodging." Her mouth was flat and her tone was serious. With a slight nudge, the doors quietly pushed open and the sound of music and smell of perfumes became even stronger as a few of the attendants inside walked around offering drinks and cleaning out different seating areas.

Lucretia was not a good person, far from it actually, but that didn't mean she agreed to every shitty practice executed throughout the world. Her business was in drugs and muscle. If people were going to sell their bodies for her benefit it serves her mind better knowing they were safe from harm. You wouldn't let someone break the furniture in your house so too would she not let someone beat up on her prostitutes.

"Let's sit over there." Lucretia pointed to a corner booth highlighted by bright purple neon lights that allowed some sort of light to enter the rather dark room. Many of the attendants in this area were nocturnal in nature and found the darkness a nonissue while other guests enjoyed the calming nature that could be found in such a grim and dim room. In front of the corner booth was a small table for drinks to be set on. Beneath the top part however was futuristic dispensary which offered each table a quick way to purchase cigarettes, cigars, cheap alcohol, and government-sanctioned drugs such as cannabis.

Lucretia would allow Levina to slip into the booth first before sitting down herself. A few of the guests recognized her and gave a passing wave or nod to her as she waited to take her seat. No one dared shout or cause too much of a noise in here as security made a point of letting guests know that they aren't afraid of confrontation.

Levina took a moment to absorb the new surroundings. It was dark. Smells mixed and swirled together without being overwhelming. She noticed a few of the looks she was given, not being able to decide if it was for her look, or because of who she was with.
"Oh those trying to break me are just having fun."
Sliding into the booth, Levina crossed her legs and continued to look around the dark lounge. A half smile came on her face as she watched what Lucretia was up to.
"Lure me here to pull me into some underground criminal ring? Or to take me out back in pieces?"
The tone she took was very obviously sarcastic. Levina loved having fun, and saw this as too good of an opportunity to let slip by.

Lucretia gave an arrogant hah Levina did she really think that those people were just having fun. Fun for themselves maybe but her enjoyment was not in their calculations whatsoever she bet. Regardless she decided to just let the girl live in ignorance. She was not her mother nor did she really care what happened to her. At the end of the day, Levina was a way to pass the time...in a way she was just having fun with her herself.

"Do you really think this is where I'd take you if I wanted to hack you to pieces. If I wanted to do that I would've had you knocked out in my room or had the kitchen put drugs in your drink earlier." Lucretia leaned back in the booth chair and crossed one leg over the other making an L shape. "No, I brought you here because like most people I don't want to be seen with you." Her tone didn't carry any hint of joking but she did wear a small smirk on her face as she waved down an attendant.

"Bring me some water please."

The comment stung. Just not in the way it would most people. It hit Levina just as fact. Reverted her back to a time before the island, when she wasn't good enough for anyone, when she was just barely good enough to be used.
"You also could have done that back at the room."
She was trying to snip back. Everything about her wanted to be snarky, but the comment stayed fresh in her mind. It was tearing down everything she had built up in the last few weeks about herself.
"I-I'll have you know plenty of people like to be seen with me."
Levina's voice wavered as she tried to argue back. The normally confident woman didn't even mention anything about a drink as she was still trying to find her emotional footing after the proverbial rug was ripped out from under her.
'Maybe...maybe they don't. Even Pietro, it's for himself.' She thought, desperately trying to reason with the idea.

The brief crack in Levina's demeanor didn't go unnoticed. When an arrogant person suddenly shifts personalities it isn't hard to spot. Something she said must've struck a nerve and surely it wasn't the hacking to pieces or drug comment. Lucretia watched as the cool glass of water was placed in front of her " If you are only a trophy for some person or arm candy for another then you are just being used. For all your narcissism I'd expect differently. A friend should be indifferent to being seen with you as it does not matter." She sipped her water before placing it back down in front of Levina.

Being used was something she knew all to well given how the Kolem-Kril used her to fight her own kind. Hell, even the Syndicate was using her at one point but now she was in a position to set her own agenda and objectives. " Figuring out whose using you and whose genuinely concerned with your wants and needs can be a very freeing experience, little lady."

Levina listened to her words, but didn't want to acknowledge them. She merely watched as the glass was sat down in front of her. Taking a half second to collect herself, Levina looked back up to Lucretia with a smug grin.
"But if I'm a trophy or arm candy, that means people are competing for me. And we all know the prize only goes to the best."
She only half believed her own words. Levina was extremely confident in herself, when it came to the general populace. Certain people, people with influence and power, she never felt she deserved. She had to be good enough for them. She had to constantly be better to be with them. Being on their arm or spending an evening with them, meant that she was good enough.
Thoughts were swirling through her head at the speed of light. 'Mathos doesn't want to be seen with you either. No no, he doesn't like to be in the public eye period. Pietro cares, he gives you all the attention you want. No, he has Natasha, you are an afterthought. Broen, KC, Cosette?' Each person that held a significant place in her life at the time she was fighting with herself over if they actually cared or not. She finally raised an eyebrow to Lucretia and spoke in a lower tone.
"Not gonna offer a girl a drink?"

Lucretia couldn't help but laugh at Levina paltry excuse of justification. " Yes, nothing screams high self-worth like comparing yourself to a to two abundant things alloy, and candy. I don't know who did such a number on you but if you believe being an object to others is fine then by all means. A trophy that gets passed around loses its value over time. Eventually, a new shiny trophy will come along and you'll just be a conquest for some individual to say 'I used to know her'."

People like this were abundant in the universe. People beat down by others and their environment that they just assimilated into the abuse for some sort of comfort instead of confronting it. Lucretia gave a slight yawn after her comment before snapping for an attendant to bring another glass of water.

"And the water was for you unless you are against sharing a cup of water with me but not alcohol. The last thing you need to be doing is getting drunk while you're here. You probably lost enough money on slots while sober. I can't imagine your skills drunk."

It was a paltry concern. Watching her potentially lose all her free cash might've been fun if it weren't such a common sight already while she was working.
