The Masquerade rush for dresses and costumes was over and Kaya now had a small chance to catch her breath before the usual walk ins and regular customers began to trickle in for winter clothing. So at the moment Kaya was leaning back in a chair next to a crib she had brought into her back room as she read a book while Darcy, her little daughter, slept the after noon away. Kaya still had the shop open and she would know when the door would open if someone walked over the threshold into her shop. So with there not really being anything to do Kaya just read her book, occaisionally looking down at her adorable little daughter with a smile.

That was however, interupted a bit later by someone walking through the door to the shop. With a small sigh Kaya put the book down on the chair and with a gently hand stoking her daughter's hair Kaya leaned down and whispered to her daughter that she would be right back. With no time to loose Kaya walked with a confident stride out of her back room and into the main display area for all of her most magnificent pieces she had made for customers previously. Though Kaya mainly specialized in Women's ware there were the occasional Male attire scattered throughout. But right now Kaya had a customer to see to. "Welcome to Dark Arts Fashion, I am Kaya Foxuma. How may I assist you today?" Smiling Kaya looked on her current guest in her place of business but at the back of her mind she felt something off already. She just couldn't quite place it.

Luco was lucky in that he didn't need much in the way of specialized clothes. He didn't have a tail or wings or anything that needed to be tailored around, and his specializations were fairly minor.

The real issue was that he was thirty years old but still looked like he was sixteen. He had to go out of his way to dress as adult as possible in order to pull off being a member of the staff. That meant wearing clothes that made him look like he was forty, which meant shopping in normal stores wasn't going to fly. He couldn't handle graphic tees and jeans, even if he would have liked to.

Specialized stores were ideal.

Dark Arts fashion seemed to be mostly women's clothes, and at a glance Luco faltered enough that he considered not even fully entering. But then the shopkeep called out to him, and that meant... well, it would be rude to leave, wouldn't it? So he stepped in and began to browse in earnest, responding in kind.

"Do you have anything for older men, but in... smaller sizes? It's a fairly specialized niche," Luco said. He'd found a few that handled like, gnome sizes, but he wasn't quite that small and it didn't help him.

Kaya watched the younger male enter her store and ask about men's ware, though smaller. "It would not be hard to do. I make everything custom to each Client so it's more to each person's personal taste than anything. But how 'old' did you want to go? I tend to find suits make a man look more mature and appealing, though a simple full button up could do a lot for a man." Kaya looked him up and down as she came around the counter and leaned her weight back onto it partially sitting.

"Now I just want this to be full disclosure up front. As it seems male clients have a harder time with this than my female clients. But any article of clothing that I will be creating has an easier time taking on a comfortable feel if it has skin contact." Kaya gave a soft friendly smile. "It's how my powers work and no this isn't me asking to get into your pants. Not that I'd say no but I have better pickup lines than that if I wanted to use them."

To show that she knew what she was doing Kaya summoned up some shadow threads pulling them into a demonstration suit showing how she could make it look. "Now, how would you like things styled? For a suit like this I'd approximate about $100 to $150."

Skin contact? Luco went a few shades paler then usual, shifting a tad uncomfortably.

"Well," Luco said, very careful not to offend. "I would prefer to avoid skin contact if we could." Desperately, desperately so. He didn't like skin contact with anyone. He was not a touchy feely person. He was the kind of person who would never want to touch anyone ever again if he could, but that was rarely an option.

"Just... something that would make me look like an adult. Not... a child." That was all he really cared about, and while he swallowed at the price--it was quite a lot--anything that could make him look like an adult would be worth it. He was tired of people thinking he was a child.

The man began blush after she had said that the clothing would require skin contact. Was he embarrassed about his body or... he wanted clothing, without touching? Kaya blinked a few times before realizing what she had said and how it could be misunderstood. "Oh darling, sorry you misunderstood me. The clothing needs to be in skin contact while I'm making them. I don't have to touch you at all. So if you want a shirt you will need to take off your shirt. If you want pants than you would need to take those off. I may be a succubus darling but I don't need to be any closer than we are now to make clothing for you."

Kaya shrugged and she waved for her new customer to follow her. Something about what she said though was strange to Kaya, what was it. Even as she sniffed the air something seemed off... she mentally shrugged and kept going while trying to think up a few things to help this man dress older. "Now how old are we talking here? I mean I can make just about anything but as soon as you start getting to Toga's I think we might have gotten to far back in the time line." Kaya said with a smile in her voice and a small laugh. Though the smell of her shop was starting to bug her, it didn't have the same scent and she wasn't sure why.

Luco was easily flustered, and Kaya's behavior - the little 'oh darling' - wasn't helping. He knew how tailoring was done - he knew you had to take clothes off to be sized - but the way she'd worded it had made it sound very different from that. His cheeks flushed red as he followed her into the shop, trying not to be bothered by... well, everything.

She was a succubus - would that have changed his opinion of coming in the first place? Maybe. It was hard to say. He wasn't a saint and he still did struggle a bit with being around demons, but he liked to think he'd have come in anyway. He hadn't clearly sensed her from the street, too surrounded by others to notice, but alone in the shop she was practically a beacon.

"Just an adult," he said. "Like... so I look like someone who could be working as a teacher, rather than as a student." He didn't mean togas, just... an adult.

Despite all of Kaya's natural abilities, none of them were having any effect on Luco. She was just a totally normal person to him, save for her appearance.

Kaya nodded as she listened to her client explain what he wanted. "That is understandable. I can definatly help with that. From the sounds of it you want a modern buisness look. It will let you look mature while keeping your class." They eventually reached a raised section of floor that was covered in a semi circle of mirrors on one half. "Just step on up the platform and prepare for what ever clothing you'd wish for me to make for you."

"I'm thinking a light green button up shirt to match your eyes with a light grey suit coat and pants, We can also go with a Dark green and near black if you wish to go darker for the color. I could also make it more formal for you if you wish to look more important." Kaya flicked her wrist and a curtain of shadows partitioned the area from the rest of the shop.

"If you want a different style or cut just let me know. Now if you have a different opinion on the color choice I'll just let you know it's much easier for me to do darker colors then lighter ones." She then folded her arms infront of her chest as her hip cocked to the side to support her weight a bit better. While she waited for his opinions she began to think on what was off. Blinking a few times as she thought about something. "If you don't mind me asking, do you happen to have some sort of negation power? Something has just been feeling a bit weird since you've walked into the shop."

Absolutely anyone who so much as glanced as Luco would know how nervous he was. Everything he did, every movement he made--It all emphasized how awkward he felt, how in over his head. He didn't know anything about colors or matching and half the words she'd said didn't seem to quite match up properly. What was modern business? Did formality even matter?

Even after her explanation, he wasn't quite sure what he was supposed to be doing. Was he supposed to undress? In front of her?

"Do I just... do I take off my clothes?" was that what he was supposed to be doing? Because if so... well, Luco wasn't happy about that. Maybe he should have just bought off the rack.

"No," Luco asked only moments after being asked. "I don't negate anything that I know of. I've been told demons don't like me much, but I don't think that's a power." Or maybe it was. Maybe they could sense he'd once been one of them.

"Just your shirt and pants, anything else should be okay to keep on." Kaya began to open portals into the Shadow realm to create threads of Shadow Silk from Living Shadows. In her hands she made two miniature versions of the suits that she was offering to make allowing him to see what she would be making for him. "They will look similar other than the color. I do say though I think the lighter coloration on you would look better than going darker."

Kaya waited for Luco to remove clothing and as she did so she thought back on what he said about not having an ability to negate anything. "Do you perhaps produce a sort of scent of some kind? Things just seem to feel and smell...different. Only asking out of curiosity, as soon as I can identify what's causing things to be like this I'm just going to feel better."

"But back to your clothes. Now, if you want. I can go back a bit in the years of fashion, make you look like you come out of the European Renaissance Era. That would give people a pause making them see you as older." The darker colored suit changed into a fancy 'nobles' cloths from Europe during the 1400s and upward slowly morphing through the different styles that were prevalent through the Era.

Oh, it was awkward alright. He'd never been anything close to undressed in front of someone else, and before he even started undressing Luco was going very red. "Can we just... do it a bit at a time?" He asked, not even waiting for an answer before starting to pull his shirt off, revealing a very skinny and very pale chest. Just being shirtless was bad enough, but shirtless and without pants?

Even the strange shadowy substance she was pulling from who knows where could hardly distract him from his horror. She was going to see him almost naked!

"No. I don't - I mean, not that I know of. I can sense demons, but... that's it as far as I know."

Really, he just wanted it to be over. He was regretting trying to find clothes at all, and when Kaya proposed ye olde clothes, Luco attempted to put his foot down.

"N-No. That would - I wouldn't want to mislead people. I just want to look like an adult, not an immortal."

He wasn't even sure if he was.
