Phones were something of a mystery to Ida. They were one of the weird magical objects of this world that were supposedly not magic at all. She couldn't even begin to understand how they worked, yet she wanted one. Everybody else seemed to have one and they could do all sorts of crazy things. It really wasn't fair. But anytime she asked anyone if she could have one, they'd refuse. The only way she could get one was by buying it, but then she didn't have any money.

However, on this fateful day, Ida had finally gotten her grubby paws on one of those beautiful devices. Though it wasn't actually her's. She was lent a phone from one of the people living where she was. They were tired of her complaints and had reluctantly lent their phone off, telling Ida to earn money through this app. All the had to do was accept orders and deliver food from point A to point B. It was simple enough, but there was a catch. She wasn't actually allowed to have any of the food she was delivering. her payment was completely through this app and apparently she would get in trouble if she ate any amount of the food. Even if it was a fry that the person wouldn't notice.

Before long, she had an order, a pizza to an apartment building somewhere. Finding the pizza place was easy enough and getting the pizza was pretty easy too. Then came the hard part, the apartment building. It took her a real long time to find it and she needed to ask for directions more than once, but a few minutes after both the pizza and Ida could officially be declared cold, she got to the place.

It was fancy. She hadn't honestly been in more than one other apartment building before, but this one was clearly the better of the two. Without even noticing the elevator, Ida had started climbing stairs until she got to the right floor, then followed the numbers along until she was at the right door. At long last, she gave the door a knock.

As was typically the case so soon after a full moon, Imogen really had not felt like getting out of the house today. Getting out of bed was in and of itself something of a major chore, and as such actually preparing food was out of the question. Lounging about in baggy pajama pants and an oversized Pantera shirt was the order of the day, and for the most part that was going well, but she was getting very hungry. It had been what felt like ages since placing her pizza order, and just when the wolf lady was heaving a sigh of defeat in preparation for making something in the microwave, she heard someone at the door.

"Oh, shit. Finally." Sitting up from her couch with a long, back popping stretch, Imogen made her way over to the door. Looking out the peephole, she saw...nothing. Well, that was interesting. Raising a brow, she opened the door anyway, actually having to take almost a second to look down and see Ida there. "...Oh, so it is actually my food." With as long as she had waited, most people would typically be at least a little snippy with the delivery person, but Imogen seemed entirely unperturbed.

Digging around in her pockets for a few moments, she eventually let out a quiet huff of mild exasperation. "Hold on just a sec, I gotta go grab some cash, just-..." Trailing off, she took a second to look Ida over more thoroughly. She recognized her from the community center at first, just from a brief interaction, but more importantly, the imp looked freezing.

"Hey, actually, you can go ahead and come in if you'd like, while I go grab that tip. Warm yourself up a little." Holding the door open and taking a step back to let her through, Imogen offered Ida a small but genuine smile. Whenever she did come inside, Imogen closed the door and casually sauntered off towards her room. "Be just a minute. Make yourself at home."

When the door opened, Ida recognized the person inside. The giant dog demon from the horrible night in the community center. Of all the people who were there, this was the one lady that wasn't a jerk. Not that Ida knew of at least.

And her theory seemed to hold. Ida was expecting some kind of a scolding for taking so long, but they didn't seem too angry with her at all. She was still going to get money and to make matters better, she invited her to come inside. "Sure." She didn't really know what a tip was but assumed it was another name for an envelope of money or something like that.

The mention of her warming up caused Ida to raise a brow. Was that what this was about, she was doing this because Ida looked cold? If that was the case, then Ida was going to be very cold. She set the pizza down, wrapped her arms around herself and hammed it up. All the while, she began to look around the room.

This place was... really nice. Fancier than anything she'd ever seen. This girl must've been absolutely loaded.

After she crossed the doorway into her room, Imogen went towards her dresser to try and root around for some cash. She didn't generally keep a lot of paper money on hand unless she was going to a festival or something of that nature, so the pickings were fairly slim option wise. Presented the choice between a five and a fifty, she shrugged lazily to herself and picked up the latter.

Coming back out, she made her way over to the general living room sort of area where Ida had settled. Looking down at her rather theatrical display, Imogen just gave a small, humorous exhale, holding out the fifty to the imp as casually as can be. "Here you go. I know tipping probably isn't really a thing around here, but I spent a couple months in America and ended up getting sort of used to the idea. Besides, looks like you've had a rough night, so."

After Ida took the money, Imogen sat down on her couch and cracked open the pizza box. Obviously, she was not met with the steamy goodness typical of a fresh pizza, but it still looked pretty tasty regardless. Grabbing a slice, she took a hearty munch and sighed contentedly, already feeling better. "Feel free to grab a piece if you want, too. I don't really care."

Ida stared at the bill for a moment, the shivering act kinda getting dropped while she processed the fifty dollar tip. Was that what tipping was? Giving way more money than necessary. And where was this America place? that dumb portal guy had clearly sent her to the wrong island.

She took the bill, examining it. She'd never touched such a high bill before, she felt powerful and rich. "Awesome." A quiet but sinister giggle escaped her before she shoved it into her pocket and looked back at Imogen again. She was allowed to eat some of the pizza too?

"Oh? Don't mind if I do." She rubbed her hands together, then walked on over to the pizza and grabbed a slice. As quickly as she had it in her hand, she had stuffed as much of the slice as she could in her mouth and started chewing. A bit cold, but still good. With her mouth still partially full, she spoke. "So are you like crazy rich or something?"
