Introductions had been made, tours were completed and now it was back to work. It was very familiar work for Shiariel, but with this time with top of the line Technological and Magical devices to help with analyzing anything that was brought into the Manta Carlos Police Department. Though Shiariel didn't need much of the equipment now that she was someplace she was able to use her abilities to help with her work. Though they weren't exactly instantaneous it seemed to speed up a lot of the work that had begun to pile up in the section that Shiariel was given to work.
It was more then halfway through the day, currently dressed in comfortable slacks and light cream blouse under the white lab coat open at the front as it went down to her ankles and her flats. While she worked it allowed her to think everything was normal and her life hadn't been given a swift kick downward to crash into the ocean of despair that was waiting for her when she would get home to her empty bed and her son who was on the verge of hating her. She was at work though and refused to let it reach her.
Though her thoughts were thrown off any track they had been when she heard a loud ruckus to the double doors that lead into the labs. When she looked up from the 'holographic' display in front of her as she sat on a stool looking over some angelic text of some material found at a crime scene she found two men there one entering one after the other a couple paces seperating the two but they seemed really eager to walk in her general direction. When her eyes landed on each in turn though her ability activated and two smaller windows appeared next to the larger one of her analysis. She looked back down at the windows and read their names and who they were. "Allan Sovereign, Quarter Angel Blood Human. and a Jacob Bonhuer, Demon....well that is interesting to see in a department..." When Shiariel read off the names to herself it was under her breath and probably wouldn't be heard by anyone as she moved the two windows off to the side and 'minimized', she would read more later. Then she looked back up to see them walking towards her.
Though she looked at them cognitively she registered that both were quite...handsome. But then she felt a wave of guilt wash over her. Thinking even after a over a year she still felt like it was betraying her dead husband.
