<div align=center>In her mind, Pollyanna had accepted her identity awhile ago. Appearance wise, at least. But she would always tell herself that yes, I am a human. No, I am not an animal. She knew that she was abnormal even in the context of the academy. At least that was what she assumed. But better safe than sorry, right? On any case, she didn't mind herself on a personal level. But on a societal or relational one... That was a lot different.
But at least there were already people in her life that knew her for what she was. And for once, she was meeting someone who was a lot like her. She had previously been looking down to her lap, until Tellios touched her. She wasn't... Quite sure what to do. No doubt he had reassured her, and she took comfort in the fact that he knew what it was like. But her past she usually tried to shove aside. All there was were unhappy memories, bright lights, needles, and dehumanization. But that was behind her, it was all over now, and she could move on.
Still...
Nothing. She couldn't think of all that sad stuff right now. Besides, she had a new roommate, and she didn't want to depress him. She smiled a bit. "Well if it's no trouble I'd like to here the rest of your story. You don't have to tell me, though..." She just didn't want to get into his business against his will. Her eyes traced back to the chair, where she gently gestured one of the nanobots to be held in her hand. She watched it in innocent curiosity, and gently allowed to to go back to where it came. "You mean it? Well, I wouldn't want to take one of your nanobots away from you..." She looked down in consideration. "I'd like one if it won't hurt you at all without it." </div>
