Illu and Mimzu were sure an interesting pair as they made their way through one of the residential areas not far from the beach. Who would even think they were of the same clan, really? Illu in a light, chiffon dress, hair pulled up, not quite human but not quite inhuman either. And Mimzu--a see-through eel-like child, in a fish bowl, on top of a giant crab covered in various ‘treasures’ Mimzu liked to collect. Pretty clear who was the more attention-grabbing of the two here.
Illu had informed Mimzu that she had something important to discuss with the little Dulla-di. She had assured Mimzu that it wasn’t ‘anything bad’, as the nervous child would often ask. But it was important and, she hoped, ultimately good news.
“This is Marric’s home,” she said as she stepped up to the porch. “I stay here when I spend time on the surface. It’s not far from the ocean, which I like. And also, Marric is very nice.”
She knocked at the door. Then found herself wondering is Sebastion would even be able to *fit* through that door. Well...they would figure it out.
