More information on Albert and his symbiote:
Name: Albert Joshipher Ellington III
Age: 35
Birthday: October 20
Gender: Male
Category: Teacher
Class: Mythology and Cryptology
Appearance Description:
Albert stands at six feet, one inch tall and weighs in at one hundred and eight pounds. When it comes to physical fitness the man is known to be well in shape. However that was his past. Now he currently is slouching off. He went from being muscular to being right about average in body size and physical shape. For the most part he looks to be younger. His body and physical appearance can make him look to be like he is in his twenties.
There are a wealth of factors involving this guy's appearance. He looks very different from a normal human. There are a wealth of scars all over his body. Tattoo and ink work are scattered throughout Albert's body. All sorts of injuries and evidence of past battles would be easily viewed. His eye color is green. The one thing that someone may notice that is different about him is that arm of his.
To say this man has more than a few tattoos is to completely misunderstand the amount of ink he has. With exception to his right arm which technically doesn't even belong to him exclusively anymore, neck, face and hands every other area on his body has some sort of ink attached. On the back there is a huge depiction of a zombie apocalypse. Both arms carry all sorts of mythology themed symbolism that covers his scars, bullet holes and stab wounds. His neck is littered with the names of the people he once knew who died. The chest and stomach area shows off the names of every mythological and special item he has found and some sort of picture to show the depiction of that item. His lower body carries symbolism of every single mythological creature he could think of. Finally the feet are lined with words in lost languages.
When it comes to physical appearances in dress Albert prefers to impress. Now of course with that arm of his it is rather tricky to wear what he wants to but with that arm's cooperation he can look good. Most times he wears a suit and tie with the occasional bowtie. He prefers dark colored suits because the darker colors appear to make him look better or so he believes. During classroom instruction he never wears his suit jacket.
One thing that should be mentioned is his absolute fascination with shoes. It is said that Albert almost never wears the same shoes twice in a week. Most of the footwear he has comes in the dress shoe variety. Most of those shoes are black and almost always will look similar to one another. The only time he wears different shoes is when he makes his feeble attempts at exercise. Even while laying in bed he prefers to wear slippers.
Jewelry is something that should be mentioned about this guy. Fancy watches, ear rings, rings to put on his fingers and even a variety of piercings located throughout his body are the types of jewelry he has. Albert sports piercings on his chest area in places that are inappropriate to reveal to any student. He also has surface piercings at the cut off area for his symbiotic arm to let him know where most of the infection has occurred. In terms of watches expect him to always have one on the left wrist as his symbiote doesn't care for jewelry to be on it.
Now comes time to explain the symbiote. Being a parasite it has a different appearance than Albert does because it was never born a human. The symbiote comes in the form of a right arm. That arm looks like something straight out of a nightmare because it can have an utterly grotesque appearance. Muscle mass, infected looking flesh and a greenish red coloration could easily be seen if Albert ever revealed the arm without covering it with clothing. The finger nails look similar to that of a lion's claws.
The symbiote reacts whenever Albert speaks, feels emotion or reacts to anything. It is apart of him. Therefore when he gets angry his symbiote arm will pulsate. When he is sad the arm will turn into a blackish color. Whenever he reacts to violence the arm will brighten up to a blood red color and switch to a blue color and ten alternate between the two colors. It can move on its own without Albert's help so sometimes that arm will act unnaturally compared to the rest of the body.
Personality Description:
Albert is known to be a rather nice person. In fact it was once said that if it wasn't for that arm of his the guy wouldn't have any enemies at all. He is about as close to being a genuinely nice person as a human being could come. He has great manners. Albert is the type of person who is generous, tries his hardest to respect everyone and rarely likes to engage in arguments. Of course that doesn't always work out for him but most times its because of that stupid arm of his.
When it comes to women this man is not the type to lack respect. He likes to be especially kind to women because he feels like women catch a lot of disrespect on the regular. However he is now known to be the knight in shining armor type. He also believes that since he is not supposed to think of women as the weaker gender that he should treat them with the the same ideals, general attitude and limits of tolerance similar to that of men. As nice as he is don't expect him to live by the whole "a man shouldn't hit a woman" rule. He feels that humans are the only ones who follow that rule. He'll typically say something like, "tell you what go poke a grizzly bear with a stick and see if it cares about society's boundaries."
He never treats others like crap because they are different. He is a humanist or at least he says he is. Albert, in truth, is a complete sentient humanist. If a being has sentient qualities he treats that person with the same respect as he would treat a human. However that comes with limits. If said sentient being is a harmful one or wants to kill him or others expect Albert to change his mind about their worth in terms of living.
This man is known to be a good dresser. He prefers to dress well because he feels inadequate. Because of that arm Albert feels out of place in the world. So he wears nice cloths and tries to look nice to try to take attention away from the limb. He prefers dark colored clothing because he wants to try to blend in colors to take away attention from the arm as much as possible.
Now the arm has a mind of its own. Since its brain exists on an astral plane it can think for itself without Albert interfering. The arm is a symbiote whose cells are connected to every part of Albert's body. That would include his brain. So it knows what he thinking at all times. Not to mention it can even talk for itself with a mouth portion.
The creature, who Albert calls Grex, is about as polar opposite as it could get from its host's personality. Grex is rude. It has no consideration for others. It will say things that are inappropriate. The thing about Grex that will be noticeable is that it doesn't like things the typical human likes. For example it cannot stand to see human affection in any form including bedroom activity. It finds the very idea of two humans kissing to be disgusting.
Having Grex as a co-pilot can be a burden. Grex talks through the right arm that it clearly has taken over and it can make that arm move without Albert's permission. Therefore expect Grex to take actions that Albert would not. For example if Grex wanted to read a book it has eyes and can move the pages on its own through that arm. If Grex wanted to listen to music it can turn on a radio as it has ears on that arm as well. If Grex wanted to smell some flowers it could move that arm over to said flowers and take a whiff as it has a nose as well.
As far as a meaningful relationship goes between Albert and Grex those two get along sometimes while other times they do not. Albert cannot control his right arm. Grex cannot control the rest of the body. So there is a power struggle at times. Since the symbiote finds that Albert's human emotion is utterly irrational it will make the arm do things that the rest of the body does not agree with. This makes meaningful relationships with other people and even bedroom activities become tough tasks.
Don't expect much of a combatant out of the host. Albert is a pacifist for the most part. He doesn't like conflict. If he is honest he doesn't even care for debates. However Grex loves conflict, loves violence and doesn't take too kindly to anyone threatening its host. Grex has been known to punch someone in the face that threatens Albert and do so without completely understanding human emotions and expressions. It even reacts to how it looks because the colors of the right arm will change based off of Albert's emotions.
Grex is still learning about human emotions and empathy. Therefore expecting it to know expressions and sayings will end in failure. It only knows English so well because it witnessed Albert speaking so often. Outside of this it sounds mostly like a robot. Grex has a sense of human but it is a dry humor. It has the possibility to appear utterly emotionless unless Albert is threatened.
Powers:
SYMBIOTIC ARM PHYSIOLOGY
Albert's right arm, if the appearance didn't give it away, is not a normal arm. His arm is actually a symbiote that took on the duties of that limb due to Albert's physical disability of not having an arm due to an accident. It is a symbiote therefore it does things on its own but can in fact move in symphony with Albert if it chooses to. The symbiote is not human. Even on a cellular level it will not appear to be human.
The creature attached to Albert's body provides more than just occasional entertainment. It appears to have two sets of eyes located just below the knuckles. There is a nose in the palm portion. Two ears are located on the wrist. The eyes, ears and nose are just as good as the average person in terms of seeing, hearing and smelling. That arm can also feel but that feeling doesn't translate to Albert so whatever the symbiote feels Albert is unable to.
It has a mind of its own. The brain of the symbiote exists on an astral plane yet is still susceptible to normal mind powers. However effects that are meant to affect those who are either human or humanoid-like wouldn't work on this thing. Controlling the arm for a mind controller is not a tough task. It doesn't understand many human emotions nor does it care to know everything about humans. Empathy abilities would still work on Albert but would also work on the symbiote as the host and symbiote are combined.
Fighting capabilities can be surprising well polished for that arm. While the host is not a great fighter Grex the symbiote is well versed in combat. It was an alien that originated on a planet far from Earth. On that planet there was constant chaos that makes the conflicts on Earth look trivial. While it cannot control Albert's body it knows martial arts created on its home world that allows it to perform moves by itself with or without Albert's assistance.
Taking a punch from that arm is not the greatest of ideas if that punch would cause injury. Grex has the capability to do things that Albert's body couldn't even withstand. It has performed feats such as holding a boulder up over its host's head with Albert struggling to keep standing. That arm and Albert's physical power produces such a visibly noticeable gap to the point where Grex has to be careful not to cause its host physical injury. Crushing rocks, bending steel, flipping cars with a flick of a wrist and lifting large amounts of weight are laughably easy tasks for Grex the symbiote arm.
That arm produces forces that can be frightening if one were to measure what Grex can do. It has been known to produce a strangle hold that is nearly ten times the strength of a crocodiles bite. If someone happens to get into a submission hold by that thing it will be difficult to escape. The current limit of weight the arm can lift is a whopping twenty tons but that is only what Albert measured it as. In truth Grex is much stronger as it could lift double what Albert measured it in at forty tons. However because of Albert's human body Grex can't exert its full potential.
When it comes to taking damage the symbiote is nothing to sneeze at. Albert has witnessed Grex taking a speeding car straight up and pushing back upon that car, on impact and sending the vehicle flying back the way it came. G-forces, elemental damage, piercing attacks and even nerve holds have absolutely no effect on this arm. The amount of residual and miscellaneous endurance the arm has is also a bit on the ridiculous side. If Grex wanted to it could hold up a .50 caliber machine gun and fire the weapon without feeling any recoil.
Mind powers still affect Grex. However its brain is located on an astral plane and if someone were able to travel to that plane they could destroy its brain. Getting into Albert's mind is no tough task for a person with mind powers. But the relationship between Grex and Albert is a complicated one and so complicated that this could be confusing for a person with mind powers.
Fighting this thing and fighting Albert can be two completely different experiences. Compared to Albert one will notice that Grex is the better fighter of the two. Actually their fighting abilities are so ridiculously in gap one could say that Grex is limited by what its human host cannot do. The symbiote is an alien from another planet. It knows a martial art unknown to mankind and will fight in ways that would confuse some people.
Even when Albert is asleep or unconscious the arm can do what it wants to. Taking out Albert in a fight doesn't mean that fight is over. Even when the host is asleep Grex has been known to drag Albert's body over to a computer and surf the internet. It doesn't really even need Albert to entertain itself because it has eyes, ears, a nose and it can physically feel things. Not to mention the creature has a brain of its own for thinking and remembering.
Biography:
From the land down under comes Albert Ellington. As a boy he had a rather pleasant childhood. His father was a carpenter and his mother was a nurse. Since his dad never went to college his father wanted Albert to not pursue degrees of higher education and go straight into the work force. His mother wanted him to get an education and make the same, if not, more money than she did. There was a power struggle in the household which would later become symbolic of Albert's adult life between him and a friend he would pick up along the way.
Since his father wanted him to become a carpenter Albert was essentially forced into learning wood work. As a boy Albert was a natural. He could craft all sorts of objects out of wood. For his mother's thirtieth birthday he made her a heart shaped lock box with his dad's help. Albert was also pressured by his mother to excel in school which he did. Albert's IQ as a child was far higher than his average classmates.
He never showed much interest in sports, the opposite gender or television. Then again he wouldn't have been allowed to have such interests in the first place. Albert had a strict childhood. He barely had friends that could come over and play. Either he was being pressured into learning carpentry work or forced to keep his nose in the books. He never really got a chance to fully be a kid.
Albert lost his right arm while working with a circular saw with his dad. When his father turned away for a moment the young boy wasn't paying attention and cried out in pain. Albert was rushed to a hospital. His mother was horrified. She blamed his father for the accident. The two parents got involved in a domestic dispute at the hospital.
Two months after Albert's accident his parents were going through the process of divorce. Albert was crushed. Not only was he missing as arm but his mother and father didn't want to be together. He felt like it was his fault. He felt that if he had been paying more attention that day he would have never cut off his own arm and his parents would still be in love. When his parents did finally split he became depressed.
His mother gained sole custody. She took him to psychiatrists and physical therapists through his young childhood years into the teenager stages. Albert was still a good student and surprisingly good at wood working even with just one arm. Working with wood was what gave him pleasure in life outside of school work. Crafting objects out of wood made him feel closer to his father and gave him the fantasy of his parents getting back together again.
He graduated high school. Albert went to college in America to get an education on a higher degree. He pursued a degree in religious studies and actually went for a double major in world history. While in college he met a young lady who appeared to be interested in him. Albert didn't understand why someone so beautiful would want a one armed man with self-esteem and depression issues.
The relationship he shared with that young lady helped him gain self confidence. However it wasn't meant to last. She didn't really like him. Instead she felt sorry for him. He was alone. It wasn't tough for anyone to notice that he never had a girlfriend before. When it was close to time for him to graduate from college Albert asked her to marry him. She declined. He was crushed.
A few days later the woman he loved broke up with him. Albert still graduated from college. He met other women but none was like the woman he wanted to marry. He found a new love. That love came in the form of cryptology. Albert took up a cryptologist position for an international archaeology discovery company. He had never heard of such of a company before. He didn't care. The money was good. For the price they were paying him he wouldn't care if he couldn't find their offices with a GPS.
During a trip to New Mexico in the United States Albert came across an ancient Indian burial ground. This is where he discovered ruins said to be lost to history. In those ruins he found an old rock that looked strange to him. He brought the rock back to a laboratory belonging to his employers. The rock was analyzed and it was said to be organic. This confused Albert. He didn't need to be medical professional to see something was strange about the discovery.
Albert was allowed to take the rock home with him. He slept good that night for the most part. In a strange dream he found himself standing before a giant monster that had no resemblance of being human. The dream monster asked if he wanted to have both arms again. Albert said yes. When he awakened he noticed something strange. He had an arm again. The arm even talked. It told him that it was an alien from another planet.
There was lots of questions to ask. Albert didn't go to work and took a leave of absence for a week. He named the arm Grex because the arm told him that Grex was the last time its people called it. Grex explained the relationship it and Albert now had. It was great at first. However the symbiote alien was becoming a nuisance because Albert couldn't do the normal things that he did without offending his new bodily housemate. It didn't take long for the two of them to begin feuding.
Two days had passed and neither Grex or Albert spoke to one another. When it was time to go out into the eyes of the public Albert wore Grex in an arm sling and wore long sleeved shirts with a glove to cover up the creature. During a routine grocery shopping trip Albert was leaving his car to walk into the middle of the street. He learned that Grex needed him and the creature showed it by saving his life. A car was going to run Albert over. Grex not only stopped the car but sent the vehicle flying backwards. The public display caused Albert to panic. Multiple people saw what his arm could do.
He had to get the heck out of town before too many questions were asked. He was sure videos of what he did went viral by the time he got home. That was why he got an email about a job offer by some place called Starlight Academy for those with special conditions like Albert's. He was going to turn down the offer. However he saw the yearly salary. That was all he needed to see. He packed his bags and took the first flight to the school.
Additional Information:
General -
Birth Place / Hometown: Australia
Occupation: Mythology and Crypotology Instructor at Starlight Academy
Personality -
Worst Memory:
Albert had his arm ripped off in an unfortunate carpentry accident when he was a child. He spent most of his life without an arm.
For Grex the worst memory was his own people abandoning him on planet Earth. What he doesn't want Albert to know is that his own kind considered him to be annoying which was why he was left behind. Albert, for the most part, accepts Grex. But to the symbiote there is no place like home.
Best Memory:
Surprisingly enough despite his rantings about how horrible Grex is his arm becoming a super arm is the best thing that ever happened to him. For the longest time he was considered to be physically handicapped. Now with Grex not only does he have both arms but one arm in particular is outrageously powerful compared to him.
For Grex the best memory was when it punched Albert in the groin the first time Albert didn't let it read articles on the internet. It learned that it could get Albert to do what it wants with the right threats of physical harm.
Likes:
Albert enjoys teaching, fishing, reading, cooking, shopping, dressing up and eating.
Grex likes reading, hating human habits and violence.
Dislikes:
Albert dislikes violence, noisy people, fedora hats and sometimes Grex.
Grex dislikes Albert sometimes, human habits, human sexual intercourse and pacifists to some extent.
Weaknesses:
Albert is a normal human. Compared to Grex he is an ant trying to co-exist with an elephant. He has no real power because even his arm isn't controlled by him. In order for him to be anything powerful he has to rely solely off of Grex.
Grex's weakness, for the most part, is that it is bound to Albert. If it could control the human's entire body Grex would be one heck of a force to be reckoned with. However since that will never be possible it is bound to be only as strong as Albert allows it to be.
Strengths:
Albert is smart. He knows geography, mythology, religion and how to solve a puzzle.
Grex is very powerful, thinks for itself and studies people very well.
Fears:
Albert is afraid of losing Grex and losing the power Grex can sometimes allow him to have.
Grex fears losing Albert as without the host a symbiote is as good as dead.
Habits/Hobbies:
Albert likes to dress well and really likes mythology.
Grex likes aggression, violence and watching Albert sleep.
Skills / Talents:
Albert is a talented individual. His talents mostly revolve around cryptology and understanding ancient customs and cultures. He is also very smart as he has a high IQ.
Grex's talents come in two forms. One, the creature is good at observing people and gradually understanding humans for the most part. Two, it is good at destroying things and fighting.
Powers -
Discovered when:
Albert and Grex became part of the same body when Albert was 26 years old.
Discovered how:
The host body went to sleep and had a dream with a depiction of a giant alien monster. When Albert woke up he and Grex were apart of the same body. Grex was originally fossilized in a granite rock. The creature can change the physiology of whatever it touches but once bounded to an object it cannot separate itself for at least a thousand years. It was isolated away from contact with living creatures because it was buried in an ancient Indian city left in ruins. It can choose what it bonds itself to as well. The creature chose Albert which made sense. Albert needed an arm. Even in a dream a person could have been frightened by an alien monster so Grex used what Albert wanted to convince Albert to allow it to become apart of his body. It tricked Albert in his dream. The host has to be a willing recipient of the relationship.
How/Why they have it:
As mentioned before Albert discovered Grex while it was fossilized in a rock. It came to Albert in a dream and Albert agreed that he wanted both his arms. Once Albert agreed that he wanted that arm back Grex left the rock and became apart of his body.

FRIENDS!
Albert is sure to have some friends. He is a rather nice guy. However it is not Albert any future friend has to worry about. It is his symbiote Grex who has the ability to speak that one should worry about. If someone can get around that then Albert and Grex can be great friends. Grex? Maybe not all the time. That thing cannot stand most humans, humanoids and anything else. Albert is the only human to date that it likes and that is only because it shares a body with him.ENEMIES!
Albert doesn't make a lot of enemies. Then again that was before Grex. Now that the symbiote shares a body with him he is sure to piss off a few people. Now of course he has no issues with someone not liking him and especially if the reason for the disliking is because of Grex. Those who are enemies of the school are his enemies as well. Grex likes the school so the same goes for the symbiote.LOVERS!
Now of course one would have to be a special woman to ever want to be with him romantically. With Grex around it is tough to have a romantic relationship and especially if any bedroom activity goes on. So Albert understands if someone is put off by Grex and that awful looking arm. However he does long to have someone special in his life.More information on the monkey king:
Name: Sun Wukong, Sun, King of the Monkeys, Nuisance of Heaven
Age: Immeasurable. The guy is two days older than dirt and it's not quite certain just how old he really is.
Birthday: Unknown
Gender: Male
Category: Citizen
Class: N/A
Appearance Description:
Sun stands at five feet, four inches and weighs in at one hundred and fifty pounds. The increased weight is only present because of the clothing that he wears. Both his eyebrows and body hair are bleach blonde in color. His eyes are icey blue. Sun's skin is a little lighter as compared to some of his simian cousins in nature.
The body armor he wears brandishes various symbols of Taoism and Buddhism. Most of his armor, located on his shoulders, chest, back and parts of the lower leggings are gold in color and are in shapes of dragons, tigers and various entities. This armor is important because it depicts much of the personality of the Monkey King. On the left shoulder his armor comes in the form of a dragon. On the right shoulder he wears the armor of the tiger. These opposing symbols represents the Yin and Yang to show that the Monkey King is neither inherently good or evil. The headband he wears had a numerous amount of Buddhist incantations written on it that is meant to keep Sun under control if he were to ever become completely evil.
His staff is another important part of his appearance as his staff, according to many, can make or break him. The staff itself is five feet in length and weighs in at nearly 18 tons. From beginning to end the staff depicts various shapes of dragons, tigers, symbols of Taoism, Buddhism peace, love, war, hate and acceptance. Just like its master this staff doesn't show any sign of being bent to one side or the other in terms of its artistic depictions.
Sun isn't inherently human. He is actually more similar to that of a simian type of human meaning that he is depicted as a cross between humans and apes. He has a tail, his feet actually have thumbs like his hands do, he's hairy and he has the ability to move like a primate could. Whenever Sun moves he prefers to act like a monkey would act. One would easily notice that he can move just as quickly on two feet as he could on all four limbs.
Personality Description:
Sun Wukong has been described as a controlled frenzy and a bit of a free spirit. He doesn't serve anyone. There is no sense of allegiance. He does what he wants, when he wants and to whatever degree he wants to do it. There are not many in mythological history who has had more encounters with beings more powerful than they then Sun Wukong. Understand that while he is not inherently evil that doesn't mean he is to be trusted either.
This immortal waged war with the heavens in his world. This means that there is little chance that he would fear much. The only thing he fears is being imprisoned as the experience was horrible for him. He doesn't like the idea of someone treating him like a child or subjecting him to the idea of being a second class citizen. There have been times where he has been given honor and because he felt that honor was beneath him he went into a rage. He is a free spirit and wishes to be treated as such.
Trickery, pranks, jokes and all around comedy is what someone will find most of the time with this guy. Some have said he could make a joke out of almost anything. It is for this reason that Sun has been treated like a child. The reason why he is treated as such sometimes is because, essentially, he has shown signs of immaturity. He doesn't take anything too seriously outside of the idea of imprisonment or his own death.
The martial arts are another important part of Sun's life. He is a skilled fighter. Quite often will he practice his hand to hand combat skills. With his magical abilities of creating copies of himself he will in fact fight his own copies just to hone his monkey style. Many have said that it was Sun Wukong who created the monkey style of Kung Fu. That isn't the case. However, he has ways of fighting that are similar to to a primate.
One of the only ways to get Sun to care about anything is to relate the issue to his son. Of course Sun has been a rather horrible father given that he has rarely been around. The only real interaction the monkey king has ever given his offspring was a dream visit where Sun did bestow his kid with a magical staff much like his own. However he does understand his son's hatred towards him and respects the fact that he hasn't been around as much as he should have.
All the monkey king ever wanted was for Wei to gain his power and continue his name. He knows his time, even with immortality, will not last forever. He has lived for far longer than he has needed to. Therefore he wants to pass on his legacy to the child he never helped much in life. Sun was never really shown a lot of love and therefore his terrible parenting skills will almost always show. But the guilt of never being apart of his son's life outside of giving out a staff will also be shown in his words and actions.
What he doesn't want Wei to know is that he was looking out for the kid a lot more often than Wei thinks so. There were untold dangers that would come Wei's way just because of the label of being the monkey king's son. Many demons and celestial beings would have killed Wei on sight. However Sun fought those beings in the background and stayed away from Wei just to protect his only son. He had to sacrifice loving his child just to protect his son. To Sun that was the best a father could do.
Powers:
Power of the Monkey King
Tactile Telekinesis
Sun's tactile telekinesis is actually only supposed to affect his body but it affects his staff as well. Sun is able to use telekinetic power to increase his physical strength, speed, agility and levitate his staff. Sun is able to lift nearly fifty times his own weight with ease. He is able to move at speeds that would dwarf that of a cheetah's top speed. In fact Sun can, not only be incredibly fast, but he is also really agile. He is monkey-like in his agility.
However these abilities are only an illusion. Much like the monkey king of legend he only appears to be ridiculous strong, crazy fast and incredibly agile. Without his telekinesis shroud around his body Sun wouldn't be able to do the things that he does. If anyone were to break that telekinesis shroud Sun would be in real trouble because he couldn't do most of the amazing feats he does. Not to mention he couldn't even lift his staff.
Ruyi Jingu Bang
This is the name of Sun's staff. This staff is said to be as hard as a diamond and as heavy as an elephant. The staff itself weighs almost 18 tons. Sun has to be super strong just to lift this thing. The staff responds only to its owner which is Sun Wukong and nobody else. It has a telekinetic bond with him with allows him to make it move without him having to physically move the object. Its other ability is that it can grow in size and girth. It can become as long as thirty feet in length and has the girth of about ten feet thick all around. On the flip side it can become as small as a sewing needle which Sun uses to put it inside of his ear.
When using this staff for fighting one must understand the effects of getting hit by this thing. Sun's tactile telekinesis is used to move the staff around as if it were as light as a feather. However the way he moves the thing can be really deceptive because when he hits a target with the staff the amount of power applied is more than enough to bust straight through most any metal known to man.
Taoist Hair Magic
Sun is able to perform feats of magic with his hair. He is able to create copies of himself by pulling his hair out from his body and channeling his energy into the hair. Now, of course, the hair copies come with disabilities. They are normal in that they have the similar endurance, speed, strength and all around physical characteristics of humans but still retain all of the Monkey King's weaknesses.
The great part about the monkey king's ability to create copies of himself with his hair is the duration of this ability. These copies can last for centuries without having him around to keep them active. However the more time passes the more the copies become weaker. In just a few minutes the copies are known to look more and more human. The reason why many wouldn't notice is because he tends to not need the copies for more than a minute. Sun alone is tough to deal with. Five Sun Wukongs at once can be formidable.
Hand to Hand Combat
If it is one thing Sun is glad to have passed on to Wei it is his ability to be excellent in hand to hand combat. He uses monkey styled Kung-Fu that he used even in his earliest days. It is unclear when Sun learned such an unorthodox style. One thing that is certain is that the fighting style is about as authentic as the earliest practitioners would have liked it to be. In fact it was once said that the human version of this style of Kung-Fu was inspired by Sun's own version of the fighting style. Now while his form is impeccable and his fighting is fierce keep in mind Sun knows only this style and doesn't mesh too well with modern and more effective forms. If he ran into a mixed martial artist he may have some serious trouble. He isn't used to dealing with multiple styles at once as back in his early days most the beings he went toe to toe with typically were not multi-layered in fighting styles.
Immortality
Sun is in fact immortal. However that doesn't mean he cannot die. It just means he lives for far longer than that of most anyone else. His age really isn't measurable because he is unsure of how old he is himself. But lately his age is starting to show more and more as he is actually growing gray hair more and more. What Wei doesn't understand is that when Sun gave him that staff he gave away part of his own life span. Sun's age is equivalent to that of a 35 year old man and now his life will end at approximately 50 years of age. He gave part of his life so that his son would have a weapon worthy of the monkey king's lineage.
Biography:
There was once a magical stone sitting upon a great mountain. This stone was not ordinary as magical vines and trees wrapped their roots around it. Thorough many years, generations and times this stone would inevitably become one with those plants wrapped around it. What was once a stone had become a magical womb.
Over time the womb became more and more active. When it split open out came a small monkey creature. What would once be called, "The Monkey King" was nothing more than a stiffened stone monkey that could only move eyes and some parts of the limbs. The Jade Emperor, one of the great deities of Sun's realm, smiled down upon him.
Time would allow Sun to become more flesh than he was stone. He traveled to and from once he was able to run, jump and communicate in monkey chatter. Sun ran into monkey creatures of the Earth. He became friends with those monkeys. After various exploits of greatness those animals worshiped Sun not even realizing that Sun wasn't exactly a monkey himself.
He would grow. The more he grew the more unnatural his appearance became. Sun had the face of a human, in some features, but only a mixture with a monkey. In fact his entire body appeared to be the missing link between apes and humans. With the great titles he was receiving from his monkey brothers Sun needed a weapon that would befit his newest title of, "The Monkey King." This was why Sun went to the monk Ruyi Jingu Bang and received his golden staff.
In his earlier life Sun was treated as more than a king of all monkeys. He was also treated like a demon which Sun falsely claimed himself to be. His earlier defiance came in the form of defying, not immortals in heaven, but the ones in this realm's hell. Sun formed a rag tag group of what he perceived to be demons but he only did this to get closer to the top ranks of hell. He needed to get closer to the, "Book of Life and Death" in order to wipe his name out of the book and all other monkeys affiliated with him or just his followers. Sun defied hell when his soul was supposed to be collected. Various demons reported Sun's actions to the mighty Jade Emperor.
In an attempt to make this creature more civilized the Jade Emperor tried to essentially give Sun a title that was beneath the monkey king. This infuriated the simian humanoid. The title essentially gave him the duty to watch over the famous cloud horses of the heavens. To show his defiance Sun released the horses allowing them to run free for an eternity as he thought doing so was hilarious. He voiced his concerns to the Jade Emperor who was slowly growing weary of the creature.
Heaven tried to punish Sun. It was then that the monkey king discovered just how formidable of a foe he truly was. He fought heavenly bodies and deities and armies and couldn't be defeated. It wasn't so much that he was unstoppable. He was just so agile, strong, fast and utilized a fighting style that was completely unorthodox; monkey Kung Fu. It wasn't just his fighting skills that put him over the top. Sun had a large degree of magical abilities that set him apart from many others.
One thing that Sun didn't possess was true immortality. His lifespan was long. However, he couldn't call himself more than mortal without some aide. He plotted a plan on a great battle with the heavens. In order for this scheme to work he would need some items. Sun stole three sacred sets of items; a lot of peaces of immortality, Jade Emperor wine, and pills of immortality. He ate some of the items.
A war broke out between Sun and the heavens. As unlikely as it seemed Sun actually held his own against what some described as nearly impossible odds. No matter what the Jade Emperor threw at the monkey king this creature could not be bested. There was no sense of honor, fighting fair or a punch that Sun would pull in order to defeat his foes. Most of the immortals had a sense of honor in terms of fighting and there was no such thing as dirty fighting. Sun didn't live by any of those rules. Therefore he defeated the forces of the Jade Emperor.
With his forces thoroughly routed the Jade Emperor had one last option; The Buddha. The emperor appealed to the high deity. Despite some deliberation Buddha agreed to defeat the monkey king. Sun didn't stand a chance against such an enemy. He was imprisoned. Granted he did put up a great fight but the Buddha managed to use the monkey king's cunning and athletic ability against him.
Imprisonment was a tough reality for Sun for quite some time. Sun separated parts of his mind into hairs that he separated from his body in order for him to live on without having his true body around. One of his special abilities was self duplication through the usage of magic. He did this by using his hair as a conductance for recreation of certain shapes but mostly creation of copies of himself. Through his copies he traveled the known world attempting to find someone who would release him or even knew how to perform such a task.
For five centuries Sun remained imprisoned. He wanted so desperately to find anyone who would release him. His staff was held by one of his copies who actually hid the item because it was far too heavy to carry. A monk by the name of Xuanzang of the Tang dynasty needed Sun in order to complete a quest for Buddhist relics. Sun accepted the deal of being released. The Buddha, realizing the Sun could just make a run for it, tricked Sun into putting on a magical headache which by reciting a magical incantation could tighten around the creature's head and cause unbearable pain.
After the quest was completed Sun was given a great honor of Buddhahood. This meant that, for his strength, courage and service the Buddha granted him a title that Sun could not complain about. This title didn't make him any stronger or wiser. The Buddha wanted Sun to learn that instead of seeking clarity, acknowledgement and appraisal from people that Sun should instead seek inner enlightenment from himself. The title was what Sun wanted all along and didn't realize it.
Time had passed. The inner peace Sun reached allowed him to sit on the sidelines throughout countless wars, conflicts and political influence. Normally he would have interfered with some worldly affairs but he learned the greatest strength of all; restraint. Just because he could interfere didn't mean that he had to.
Throughout the ages Sun grew more and more weary of being alone. He out-lived demons who were said to be immortal though their lifespans were greatly exaggerated. All alone in the world he desired to have a family of his own. But for a monkey king who other immortals despised having a child and a wife meant he'd have to protect them always. Sun wasn't sure he wanted such a responsibility at first. However after he watched human children and parents interact his biological clock started ticking.
He viewed having children as a burden. He wanted the feeling of being a father without necessarily having the responsibility. However he understood those two concepts could not exist at the same time. Unfortunately finding a suitable person to have enough willpower and someone who could impress him enough for him to want them to have his child was next to impossible. Mortal women were never appealing to Sun. At least not appealing when it came to starting a family.
For over a thousand years he pondered. No such woman ever appeared. Sure there were immortal women but most of them wouldn't find Sun to be very appealing. During his thinking and searching he came to a great ancient tree. He was hungry. An apple was grabbed. He took a bite into that apple. This fruit was not normal. It could absorb the DNA of the person eating it. Sun discarded the eaten apple onto the ground. Much like his birth a monkey child was born.
The transformation of apple seed to monkey child was instant. Sun got the son he always wanted but this wasn't a happy birth. Sun's enemies caught wind that he had a son now. The monkey king knew the child was not safe. He never wanted the responsibilities of a father before but now that he lay eyes upon his son he felt love for the child he never knew he could feel for another.
Sun searched far and wide for a place to hide himself and his son. No matter where he ran, how he hide his son and himself or how fast he could run there was no escaping reality. It was said that the monkey king had endless stamina but that was an exaggeration. The more tired he grew of looking over his shoulder and the more he ran out of physical energy the more danger the child was put in. Sun was heart broken to come to the conclusion that it was he was that was putting his only child in a life threatening situation. For the first time in his life he cried. The jokester of an immortal was powerless to do anything to help his son outside of giving him away.
He chose a family that he watched for twelve days straight. The mother of that family was the head of the household. She was already struggling with just one child. However Sun saw inner strength in that woman that he never possessed. Never could he have such patience, show that much love for another and care for another being with such compassion. He had finally found the woman he would have gladly started a family with. However he could never have that and that was thanks to him making so many other immortals angry.
Sun approached the woman in disguise. He revealed that the baby held in his arms was the son of the monkey king. The woman was shocked to hear this but was skeptical. Sun removed his disguise. The woman didn't know what to do. Someone commonly mistaken to be a deity was now before her asking for her to take stewardship over a child. She agreed once Sun explained that if she didn't take on this responsibility the child and himself was likely to die. He could not defend himself and his son at the same time. There was a promise that no harm would come to the family so long as he was watching. He planned on keeping that agreement. Sun named the boy after himself. The mother agreed with that name so that the child would never forget who their father was.
For well over ten years Sun fought off other immortals who were searching for his son. Sun was almost killed once thus showing that he wasn't nearly as powerful as he once was. Something was wrong. The great monkey king was said to have almost never lost a fight. There was a need to give his son a means of defense. So without his enemies knowing his the monkey king also spent those ten years crafting a weapon similar to his own staff. This staff was meant to be a replacement for his own. One of the main reasons why he wanted his child to become stronger and gain a staff equal to the might of his own is because the monkey king needed a replacement.
The smaller and younger Sun had no real way of knowing the father was grooming him to become the new monkey king. At the age of 15 Sun knew it was the time to act. He went to a demon dream walker and asked for a favor. Through meditation this dream walker allowed Sun to communicate with the kid through the child's dreams. Sun taught the younger version of himself how to use a bo staff. He knew that wouldn't be enough to create a new version of himself. For that job he would need to make a personal appearance. Now that his son had a weapon and had some training that could serve as some means of protection against other immortals who by now had learned that the monkey king had no intention of allowing any harm to come to Sun jr.
Those immortals became even more afraid when Sun appeared on Manta Carlos island. His appearance wasn't heralded. He disguised himself as a normal human. He dressed normal. Sun went through the trouble of learning English before he even showed up. A low profile was needed to keep trouble at a minimum. Without wearing his armor or even making his staff appear out of his ear which was disguised as an ear piercing he would be seen as another person who was more than human here. Even the monkey king could blend in here because he wasn't exactly unusual in appearance compared to many here. His purpose was to help Sun jr. along their way and eventually relinquish the true staff of the monkey king to his offspring.

Age: Immeasurable. The guy is two days older than dirt and it's not quite certain just how old he really is.
Birthday: Unknown
Gender: Male
Category: Citizen

FRIENDS!
Sun will likely make friends with people similar to him more times than not. However given his fun loving personality he could conceivably become allied with many people who may find him to be funny. To be Sun's friend means someone almost has to have a sense of humor because the guy is constantly pulling pranks, cracking jokes and generally not taking life seriously so long as his son is not involved. Some may consider him to be a good friend for simply trying to become a better father and father figure. ENEMIES!
This guy has made more than his fair share of enemies. Lets get that out there. There is no love lost between him and certain people close to him. For now his son currently despises him so its not hard to imagine others not liking him as well. Sun is not a good guy by any stretch of the imagination so even those who do evil may not necessarily be his enemy. However those who would do harm to his son or the friends of his son are considered to be enemies. LOVERS!
Simply impossible for Sun. He cares not for lovers at this point in his life. He has his son. He can see his child. That's all he cares about. No need in worrying about any romance with him.
