Private Waterside Amusements

"Well I guess that answers that! Alright you can both share the front seats then since you were both very insistent about it. I will sit right just behind the two of you." said Izumi, seeing that the very front could only sit two people safely.

It was only a few more minutes of waiting until they were at last called up enter the front cart. Rin was quick to hop into seat in the front while Izumi sat directly behind her. This left a spot up in the front by Rin and the spot next to Izumi left for Neon to take.

"Come on Neon! Hurry up." called out Rin, already strapping herself into the ride.

Izumi was happy to see the kids look so excited as they took to the very front of the ride. Izumi meanwhile sat just behind, paired with big gruff Minotaur man who looked a little too big for the ride. The minotaur man may have come off as bit intimidating where it not for his dad bod and his pink shirt that says "princess" in fancy cursive script .

Over the loudspeaker, everyone in the ride was instructed to strap themselves into the ride while employees checked each cart. Izumi made sure to tighten the strap as they passed and waited for the ride to slowly lurch to life.

"Oh here we go!" spoke up Izumi as the ride slowly crested up the hill and all of the riders anticipating for the big drop once they reached top.

Upon reaching the drop, the cart took a dive and quickly gathered speed to send its occupants off like a speeding bullet! Izumi couldn't help but shriek with joy with Rin just giggled the entire duration of the ride. There was a twist, a hump a turn, a series of humps and a big old loop. But quickly as it all seemed to have started it all came to an end a minute or two later as the ride slowed itself as it returned to the launch bay.

"Ohh ho ho ho! That was fun yes? There was few moments where I felt completely weightless." said Izumi as she exited the ride.

"Yeah, that was fun though the one they have up in the space station is way more intense." commented Rin as she hopped out of the ride as well.

"Oh they have one in the space station too? I did not know that. Well Neon what did you think? Way faster than some old minecart and much safer too right?" asked Izumi, checking in on Neon once he was out of the ride.

While Rin had fun on the ride, Neon's reaction was even more entertaining to behold as it was like a kid having sweets for the first time. And with big sparkly eyes how could she say no?

"Ha ha well you have me convinced! Lets go again!" declared Izumi

"Oh? Ummm... I dunno if I can." sheepishly brought up Rin

"Hrmm? What do you mean Rin? Why not?" questioned Izumi whom was a bit confused.

"Well, I sort of told my friend that I was here and now she wants to come and hang out with me for a bit." admitted Rin as she scratched the back of her ear, trying to come off as innocent.

"Oh but-" Izumi couldn't help but be disappointment as she thought this was going to be a day that was going to be just the three of them. While she really wanted Rin here, if she really wanted to go off with her friend then she would be the horrible mother now wouldn't she?

"- but thats fine. You go on ahead and be with your friend. Call me when your done so we can come and look for you or if anything happens okay?" finished Izumi, putting on her best face dispite being a little hurt on the inside by her daughter's choice.

"Okey! Thanks mom, your the best!~" chimed Rin, giving Izumi a quick hug as well as a quick hug for Neon "And you make sure mom doesn't slip through the ride restraints or anything. I will see you both later!"

Rin was then quick to scamper off into the crown. Izumi's tail falls to the ground and lets out a defeated sign once Rin was out of sight.

Izumi was surprised when they felt arms suddenly wrap around her. But she could relax for she knew it was Neon hugging them and returned gesture by wrapping her arms and tail around him as well.

"Awww.... thanks for letting us be your family." thanked the tanuki, before letting go and wiping away a tear in her before before anyone notices her getting all sappy "Alright well we should get back in line before that line grows any longer."

With that, Izumi spins on her heel and marches off to the end of the line of the roller coaster ride, waiting for Neon to come and join her in the line.

Izumi waited with Neon in the line once again, her fingertips tapping on the metal railing. What started as random clacking of nails began to take on a rhythmic pattern as Izumi hummed lyrics to a song lost to time. Whatever tune she was emulating was too indistinct to make out and the words she whispered under her breath too soft to be intelligible save for a Japanese words. As gradually as it began, it came to quick end as Izumi gave a quick glance to Neon.

"Neon?" asked Izumi suddenly as she further inquired "What what is your favorite song? Or... just your favorite kind of music if its too difficult to figure out a favorite."
