He'd planned ahead of course, told her how he wanted to watch the sunrise with her. A simple yet romantic thing, but he had a surprise in mind.

So they rose early, he made them a quick breakfast, enough so that there was some for his mom when she woke up, and then out the door.

He quickly kissed her cheek and took her in his arms, "hold on beautiful," they they lifted up. It wasn't far so he flew low, "you're going to love this."

Elizabeth was quite excited to go out this morning. It was only a simple thing but it had been so long since she'd really been anywhere with Soren since she got ill. It was far to early to tell what the weather would be like that day but for some reason Elizabeth felt like she had to look nicer today. She'd spent the last few weeks in PJ's around Soren and so today she wanted to look nice for him for a change. Putting on a grey dress, tights and boots she walked out to see breakfast already made. She ate it, keeping up a small conversation with Soren, unable to help smiling throughout. Once they were done he picked her up and the began to fly off.
"So, tell me where we're going exactly? You really haven't told me much about what we're doing."

He grinned down at her as they flew, "wouldn't you like to know," he said teasingly, "don't worry it's not far."

Soon they came to a tall hill, with trees on top, "found it when I first got here." He land and gently set her down, "you can see so much from up here," wrapping his arm around her waist, he kissed her cheek.

From one of the trees hung glass, glass of all colors one could imagine, "wanted to share something with you," he said looking at her.

They landed and Elizabeth was awestruck. She felt Soren kiss her check but didn't really process it. She moved away walking around, turning slowly in circles and just looking at everything. The light from the sun that was just starting to rise reflected through all of the coloured glass, creating a rainbow on the floor. Elizabeth turned back to Soren, eyes shining. "How did you find this place. Its... its amazing." She went up to him and kissed him before turning back to look in the direction of the sun.

Soren smiled brightly as he saw her reaction, "found it randomly while flying around," he had explored a good amount if the island. He kissed her back and, standing behind her, wrapped his arms around her.

"It's my favorite spot on the island," he whispered to her ear, "so I wanted to show you." He looked back to the rising sun, it was beautiful, "Liz.....," he said looking at her, "I love you," teenagers threw around the word love so easily, but not Soren, he meant it, he was in love with you.

He held her close and kissed her, "thank you for everything."

Elizabeth pulled his arms more around her, leaning back a little and hugging him tight. She heard him whispering in her ear and she turned her head slightly to face him, smiling, "well, I'm glad you did." She looked at him for a moment before he spoke again. She smiled softly, "I love you too angel boy, and no, thank you." With that, she kissed him back, moving her arms to wrap around his neck, pulling him closer to her, the glass reflecting dancing colours over them as the sun moved higher.

He smiled and deepened the kiss, enjoying having her close, he hugged her tight. "With everything that had happened," he smiled, "I thought we could use this, nice morning together."

Siren continued to hold her and watch the lights, enjoying what was, as far as he was concerned, a perfect moment.

A cool breeze blew through, sprouting his wings he wrapped them around them both. Smiling he whispered, "these moments are my favorite, quiet, just me and you."

With everything that's happened... She leaned back against Soren and nodded slightly, thinking about everything they'd been through together, emotionally, sometimes physically. He was right, it was amazing that they could still do things like this, peaceful and quiet and beautiful things. To Elizabeth, if that didn't show how much they meant to each other, to get through everything they had and still come out okay, then nothing could.
She smiled softly at him, "they're my favourite too." She watched until the entirety of the sun was visible above the horizon and then turned to kiss Soren again, wrapped up in his wings.
