Watching the sky

"I’m not worrying." Was all that came out of Kacey in a 'I-could-care-less' tone. For some reason she didn’t feel the same around Ian anymore. She still felt like she was hurting him. "I’m just sorry ok?" She said, not looking at him anymore.

"Okay." said Ian, "but I don't want things to change between us." he said, "It seems like ever since you and him started dating, you and I have been drifting apart." he said, Why are you telling her that? Its all your dam fault moron! Ian thought to himself.

Kacey stared at him for long moment, Drifting apart? How could he say that? Fine blame it all on me and Mikah. Kacey thought in angry at the moment. "Maybe because we are drifting apart Ian." Kacey said a little to harshly as she stood up.

Now you've gone and done it moron thougth Ian, "But.." he paused, "That isn;t what I meant." he got up also, "I meant that..." he couldn;t think of how he wanted to put it and ran his hand though his hair in frustration, "It has nothign to do with you and Mikah, its I think the way I've been acting..." he said sitting back down. He waited to see if she was going to accpet what he said, or if she was goign to leave.

"I don’t know what's going on with you anymore...."Kacey said turning away from him little bit but not leaving yet, "I mean I thought I knew you but maybe I don’t." Kacey paused "Maybe not even a little bit."

Ian looked at the floor, "You did.." he said, "I don't knwo what my problem is." he said putting his hand on his forehead. He didn't say anythign else. if Kacey was going to leave now, he wasn't goign to stop her. He didn't want to act like this aroudn her anymore, so if she left now, eh figured he'd go somewhere really far away fro awhile until he figured himself out a bit, because he figured all he was doign now was screwing things up more.

Kacey sighed, maybe she had been to hard on him. Maybe she should reconsider her relationship with Mikah. Kacey sat back down. "Now your worrying me......" She said in a kinder voice then she had before. "Why are you changing so much?" She said, Ian was becoming someone she didn’t know.

Ian dropped his hand letting hsi bangs fall down over his face. "Listen." he said, "I still want you to date Mikah, and I don't want you worrying." he said, "I don't know why." he said, "I'm not tryign to change, and I haven;t changed, its just been my behavior the past few days." he said "I'll be normal again ina few dyas." he said quietly.

"Well maybe we could figure it out together. I don’t like seeing you like this...." Kacey said looking back at him. "Just try and say what your really truly feeling and just let it out. Maybe you’ll feel better. I....I....I don’t know what else to say...." Kacey said trying to help.

"that's what I've been tryign to do here, but I said it wrong th efirst time I tried and you seemd like you got pretty mad, I don'twant to repeat that." he said.
