Watching the others

Raven sat alone, under the shade of a tree. He leaned back against the tree, watching the other students walk around and talk. It was his first day at the school, so he didn't want to start on any classes right then. He breathed in deeply, taking in the fresh air. He then wrapped himself in his cloak, the air was getting chilly, he would probally go inside soon.

He glanced over to her, she came out of nowhere it seemed. "Hello, they call me Raven." A breeze came through the air, rustling the trees, sending some of the last leaves down upon them.

"I don't know yet. I was going to take ones that maximized my powers, as I only have a basic understanding of them." He raised his finger, and a leaf on the ground started to vibrate, and a black aura surrounded it. It then levitated about a foot off the ground before falling back down.

Hawk was sitting on the large stone block that is positioned by the walkway. He was watching the three students near by, and felt an urge to go over and introduce himself, but was a bit timid to do so. "I might get nervous and break out with a rash, or worse, might disappear..." he said quietly to himself. "At some time I know I'll have to say hello, but I guess I'll do it another time..."

With that, Hawk got up and started walking toward the building, hoping they wouldn't notice him.
