So I'm not in DIRE need of these characters, but I thought I would put the offer out there if it sparks anyone's inspiration!
The very basic backstory: my character Illu was the princess of the Ta'zii Clan. She accidentally became cursed and killed the majority of them. Her and five other members of the clan are the only ones who authorities from Manta Carlos managed to save.
After spending some time on the island, Illu decides to return to the sea to find another clan--the Dulla-di Clan. They have the ability to break the curse on Illu, and after two years of searching for them they agree to do so. Illu also agrees to marry the prince of the Dulla-di Clan so that the last few of her clan can be merged with them. Then, she led them all back to Manta Carlos and is now focusing on getting the Dulla-di clan adjusted to their new life.

The Ta'zzi Clan:
-These are the last five of Illu's clan.
-They are a fiercely loyal people, and have remained loyal to Illu despite her accidentally wiping out most of the clan. Although, I think it would be interesting to maybe have one that has remained bitter...
-Typically stoic and emotionally reserved.
-Fae-Mermaids, so they function like Fae in some ways. You can choose which Fae rules apply and don't. For example: Illu can't tell lies, but can tell half-truths.
-Abilities: See Illu's profile. Passive abilities should be consistent. Active abilities can be tweaked around or added onto.
The Dulla-Di Clan:
The Dulla-di Clan is a lot more flexible as I haven't given much details about them. There are about 50 of them. Some have chosen to remain in the sea, while others frequently go between the sea and the island like Illu.
-Like the Ta'zzi, they are deep sea mermaids. As such, they require charms to walk on land and see in sunlight.
-They have the ability to break curses, but this doesn't have to be a necessity for all mermaids within the clan.
And that's it. Besides those details, you can go wild!
The Prince of the Dulla-Di Clan: This one is my most desired! Him and Illu are married, but they don't really get along. It was strictly a ritualistic marriage to combine the two clans, and Illu continues to be in relationships with others. Besides that, go wild.
