"Oh my... I kinda did the very same thing the first time Desna took me fishing with her," Azucena laughed.

"I tried to grab a trout that was swimming lazily near the shore. It looked like it was not really moving, and so I tried to grab it, but it took off before I could even put my foot in the water," she said with a grin.

"Luckily, I didn't fall in the river that day, but I easily could have," she added laughingly while thinking it was nice that someone else could relate to her, and that she wasn't the only one who thought they could catch fish with their hands.

"I get that!" He said excitedly. "Actually, the one that made me fall was a river bass. It was swimming sideways in place, basically accepting its eventual fate of being eaten," he snickered. "Now that I think about it, it's actually kind of sad... Poor thing mustn't have had much to live for. But you know? Once I actually reached out, it jumped at me! I was so surprised I fell right in..." He was full on laughing at this point, not caring about whoever might be passing by and hearing this strange story.

"Mother nature always has its way of surprising us, doesn't it?"He finished, wiping a laughing tear from his eye." Just when you think you've figured it out and are ready to exploit a weakness, she pulls the reward out of your reach."

Azucena laughed along with Yuki, very much enjoying herself with their exchange of nature-related mishaps.

"Mother nature biting you back reminds me of the time I was on a nature walk and there was a member who was really being disrespectful," she started animately. "He was loud, kept leaving the path and trampling wildflowers. He even cut his name into a tree," Azucena said.

"Anyways, he ended up accidentally tripping over a tree root and falling headfirst into some Stinging Nettle," she said with a wide grin.

"Guess mother natured wasn't too impressed with him," she added with a giggle.

"Ooooh, that must have stung..." Yuki grimaced a little in sympathy for the idiot. "Serves him right, though. We have to respect Mother Nature, or else she'll find a way to hit us back for our wrongs." He nods sagely, this actually being the company policy of GeneCorp industries. It was taught to employees at all levels, and Yuki had actually been given the honour of helping word it in the mission statement!

"Actually, one time--"

BRRRRING!

The bell signalling that class was about to restart cut Yuki short. "Aww..." His face fell a little. "Looks like we'll have to continue this chat some other time. Oh, by the way, here." He handed Azucena a small white card on it that had his number. The card said "Let's be friends!" in a cute font with a thumbs up and a smile emoji. It was kinda childish in a cute way.

"My number's there. Text me more about the details of the forage when you have time! Economics is about to start." And with that, he quickly jogged off to the classroom. Couldn't afford to be late!

Azucena took the business card, giving a strange look at first -she had never met anyone his age who gave out business cards - and then after scanning it quickly, she smiled at its message.

"No worries, I will give you a call as soon as I know more," she promised as she pocketed the card, and said her goodbyes. Then, like Yuki, she took off towards her next class, glad she had found, not only a fellow nature lover but perhaps, a new friend.
