Ana had been wandering the school grounds for some time now, feeling a little ignored, but that was nothing that she couldn't handle. Besides, she like exploring alone, that way, she could study her surroundings better and come back whenever she wanted instead of having to look at the other person to be polite.
She had already studied all the open rooms inside the building, so she decided to go outside and look around out there. As she stepped from the doorway, the sun wanted to make her sneeze, but she held it in. "I'm going to enjoy this as me thank you very much." she thought to herself. She surveyed the area, it was nice and green, with the sound of animals here and there... Ana ignored the animal chatter and sat down in the grass, perfectly content to just sit there for a while.

In the courtyard there is a small hill, you have never noticed those flowers being on top of there earlier. And you certainly don't remember a guy being up there. Kurama was looking off in the distance with hands in his pockets. He was slightly elevated due to the hill. The wind brushed up against his body yet the only things that swayed in the wind was his hair and the flowers. As Kurama looked in the distance he has memories, of his mother. There is a Cherry Blossoms from a tree dead ahead, oh how he had loved climbing them when he was little. Laughing and giggling with his mother. He turns around and sees a girl sitting down, he didn't want to seem a pervert and just walk over talking to her. He would be labeled as one of two things, freak or pervert. He just stood there looking at the tree.

Ana looked up when the squirrels started chattering more nonsence than normal, something about flowers springing up out of nowhere, and saw a guy standing at the top of a small hill... The hill was covered in flowers, absolutely covered. They weren't there before either. Ha! The squirrels actually knew what they were talking about for once! Ana watched him watching a tree, his hair billowing in the breeze. His red hair. She stood up after a little thought and started twirling her finger through the air, then her whole arm as the portal grew larger. The portal was a like a bubble, distorting what was on the other side, what used to be the hill was now a close-up of the back of the teen's head. Ana stuck her arm into the portal, then her head, and grabbed a wisp of his hair, and sniffed it. It smelled of... cherry blossoms and roses. I wonder what he washes it with...
"Hey! Your hair smells nice, what do you use?"

Kurama although keeping his intellectual calm mood lost it. He some what had freaked out. He fell to the ground after Ana had smelled his hair. Slightly shocked that someone at random just go and sniff hair. He looks up at the girl. Her eyes were to different colors, one was green yet the other was a shade of blue that looked green as well. He thought it was rather odd, he then finally remembered why he was in shock. It wasn't just the fact a rather cute girl walked up to him it was the fact she had sniffed his hair. "I.. I just wash it with water and soap, maybe the fact it smells cherry blossoms is that I am usually lying down on them." He looks at the ground before standing up, it was a rather awkward moment for him. He then takes another quick look at her. "So what brings you over in the courtyard?" He looked at the ground yet again, kicking his shoe forward a little. She didn't look too much older then he was, about eighteen or seventeen years old. He actually had some questions to ask about her. She was unique different from other people he had met.

"PFFT! Ahaha... ahem, gomen, sorry. It's the red hair." Ana stepped back a bit, pulling her head and arm back through the portal, and took a couple of seconds to compose herself and make the portal large enough to walk though. As she walked through, taking care not to trample the flowers, she studied the teen more closely. He looked nice enough, as far as she could tell anyway, looks don't mean much of anything when you really think about it, but the love of plants was obvious, and she figured that if he was good with plants he couldn't be too bad. "Hm, is that all, I suppose that's why your hair isn't soft." She smiled slightly at that, playing with her own, silky-smooth, hair, it was a bad habit of hers, she liked her hair too much sometimes. "As to why I'm here, I had nowhere else to be, and it's best for me to explore my surroundings, otherwise," She paused, closeing the portal behind her with a wave of her arm, "I wouldn't be able to get around with those." She took a breath, sticking out her arm as she did so, "Name's Ana, if that doesn't get me to respond right away, you could try Alvyna, Aldora, or Aloysia, though I suggest not sticking around if it's Aloysia, you might get hurt... heh. Ah, and watch out for sneezes, you never know who you're gonna get. I think that's all the warning you need though." She crossed one leg in front of the other and 'leaned' on her arm in thought. "What about you?"

Kurama was still pretty embarrassed, he nods his head down then looks up. "My name is Kurama, and I think I will just call you Ana." He smiled he didn't want to seem too much like a dork/nerd while talking to her. And he didn't want the conversation to go fine to awkward. He moves his left hand to the back of his head. He scratches the area that Ana had smelled. "So you can make portals? It must be convenient." He speaks to the earth where he stands now with the cherry blossoms. There was once roses that grew here. He forces one to grow quickly. He plucks out the Rose from the ground trying to be a gentleman to the woman Ana. "For you." He wasn't meaning to flirt just to be nice since he knew her power he thought fair to show case his. He felt slightly awkward when handing her the rose, it wasn't your regular red rose. It was a different color not pink and not white, it was a rose that was the color of Ana's eye that was a mixture of blue and green. After examining the rose a second time he did think that he was putting the moves on her. The exact opposite thing he wanted to do, "Damn... I think I brought the conversation to awkward on my own." Kurama thought to him self his sly smile turned to an uneasy one.

"Kurama, eh?" Ana grinned a bit, then blushed after a second of thought. "I feel like I know that name from somewhere... Eh, for all I know, I heard it from a robin or something." She shrugged as she said the second sentance.
"Portals can be convenient, but they can be a tad tiring... They're best used for sneaking up on people, running away from people, and re-tracing your steps from the beginning to find that thing that you lost without having to do it backwards and forgeting the way you went. Aldora's best at it though."
Upon seeing the rose, she gasped. "Oh. My. Gosh. I've never actually seen one of these! I've always wanted to see a blue rose, thanks so much." Ana grinned, lightly grabbed the flower, and gave him a quick peck on the cheek. "That's the nicest thing anyone's ever done for me... But wouldn't you rather let it live? It'll die quicker this way. It really is a nice gesture though." She smiled. "I could go put it in my room though... I just don't have a vase right now." She sniffed the rose. "Aw look at me, I'm such a spaz, must be the hair... Oi, you don't happen to have the ability to talk to plants, do you?"

After hearing the comment on how useful the portals are through Ana's thoughts. "Portals seem pretty useful then" He thought while she told about her power. As soon as she took the rose he thought "Shit... am I flirting?" As Ana comes and pecks him on the cheek his face turned from normal to a bright red then quickly returned to normal. "It's no problem..." He was still trying to recover the she had pecked him on the cheek. Using his mind another three blue roses grow but they are on the ground. "Yes I can talk to plants, but I can also control them." He quickly got his mouth quiet after that. He felt the cool breeze from the wind, it was relaxing. It made him want to go to sleep, or just stay outside to love nature. Although it didn't seem something like that would happen. He took a deep breathe, he wasn't very good at small talk at all. "So Ana, how old are you exactly?" Kurama questioned her, of course it seemed like a dumb question to ask yet being the terrible small talker it seemed fitting. Besides the fact he would also know if his guess on how old she was, was right. He awaited for her answer as he put his two hands in his pockets.

"Ah, okay then. So, what do they normally say? All I get from stuff without lungs or gills are general feelings and stuff." She sighed. "Que sera, sera and all that I suppose." She looked down at the new roses and felt the breeze blow her hair across her neck. It was nice and relaxing, the breeze. Ana carefully chose a spot and lay down, contorting her body a bit to avoid some of the flowers.
"As for my age, I'm 18. That's western counting, in some places they count your age differently, just so you don't get confused... Not that it matters much anyway. Age, that is."
Ana carefully took all the thorns off of the plucked rose and tucked it behind her ear. "How do I look?" She asked Kurama before sticking her tongue out.

Then Ana closed her eyes and said what came to her.
"Beautiful flowers
"That grow from the dank, dark, earth;
"Just for you, relax."

She opened her eyes and blinked; once, twice, three times. "Okay, who's the poet? ...And a haiku?!" Ana thumped her head on the ground a couple of times. "I don't even like haiku!"

"I think your the poet who didn't know it." Kurama stated he felt pretty dumb for saying that. He sat down on the ground again then lied down, it was rather comfy to just relax on maybe even sleep. The breeze felt nice, even though it was pretty rude of him to just lie down when a girl was talking to him. "So how long have you been here? I have only been here for two years...although it feels like forever in a good way."He relaxed and closed his eyes he was already half asleep. He loved being outside on a windy day like this with the sun still shining. It just made him feel all warm and fuzzy. If he were to ever say that out loud he would have to say no homo after that.

Sure enough though sometimes things just don't go the right way for Kurama he felt a small drop and sat up straight with is eyes opened. "Its about to rain pretty hard we should get out of here, that is unless you want to get soaking wet." It started to slightly drizzle although people could smell a storm at this moment. Kurama waited for Ana's answer, as he stood up. "Well?" He was just thinking to go inside the dorms if anything so they could stay dry. He didn't mind getting a little wet although he wasn't too sure about Ana. Besides the fact it would be a little perverted if he didn't warn her then he would see her body all wet.
