For a moment, Chris was silent. He almost thought the girl was crazy...
"No, I'm not a king..."
But then again, this is Starlight Academy, Chris. Anything can happen.
"You can speak with the dead?"

(OOC: That name seems familiar for some reason...am I crazy?)

Her black eyes were upon him again, widened in disbelief. "You can't?" Her head whirled around, searching out Emily, and she slid her tiny hand in the ghost's cold one and tugged her over as if Emily was her mother and she a child wanting cookies. "Does he talk to you, ever?" She questioned, and then her eyes went big with shock. "Well, I can see him. He's not fake, look!" She poked the older boy lightly in the ribs, about where her shoulders fell on him. "I'm not making it up!"

She turned to Chris, tilting her head and "Emily says no one ever comes out here except for me... She says she hasn't seen anyone but me since she died." She sighed, frowning over at emptiness where she could see Emily, glancing up at Chris worriedly. "I'm not crazy! Tell her that you're here."

ooc: XD I dinno... I was worried that it actually was someone, because it sounds so familiar, but I don't know who it is... ^^;

"Y-yeah, last time I checked..."
It didn't look like this girl had the best of lives. The ghosts didn't see humans, and humans didn't see ghosts. It must have been hell...
"Is there any way I could make myself visible to them?"

Ed frowned, standing on her tiptoes to whisper something into empty air, turning back and nodding over at Chris. "She's going to go ask that guy." She pointed off to one of the larger headstones, smiling and "He's been dead longer then her, see."

The angry-girl walked up, and Edward ran over to her and frowned curiously. "Chris-king, can you see this girl?"

"Nice kick," Aletia said, walking towards the group, "Hey Ed, hello Chris, and, I don't think I've met either of you." Aletia said, turning towards the girl whom she complimented and to someone behind Edward. As if hearing thin air, Aletia looked surprised. "Wow... that's a long name... Mind if i just call you Emily?" she then looked at the two older people. "What?"

Ed had turned away for a moment to converse with empty air again, and she didn't see the kick.
However, it was hard not to hear it, and she whirled around at the solid sound and frowned lightly. What had she missed?

She was about to ask, but then she noticed Aletia coming towards them, and grinned widely. "Hi," She announced, waving one hand in the air at the fast approaching girl. She turned, ready to introduce everyone to the girl, but she was too fast for Ed.

She stuck her tongue out at Chris-king in a joking gesture, announcing "not pretending," even though he'd never said she was. And then, to Aletia: "It's not that long of a name. I've got five different names, really, but maman says I should just tell people the first and last one, because that's all that matters." She drifted off into thought, throwing a despairing look at the always understanding Emily. She'd never understood that... She liked her middle names, and taking them out was like taking the lettuce and meat out of a sandwich.

(ooc: a literal kick in the butt XD)

Aletia giggled about how Ed simply stuck her toungue at Chris, before realising something. "Actually, I was talking about that woman behind you, who I believe is called Emily Elizabeth Parker. And, since when did you have five names?" Aletia felt a tiny bit confused, but smiled all the same.

Ed nodded, frowning lightly. "I know. I was saying that Emily Elizabeth Parker isn't that long of a name, compared to mine." She grinned behind her shoulder at Emily, and "Anyway, it needs to be big because it's pretty. That's what maman says."

She paused, and remembered to answer another thing the girl had asked. "Since I was born, 'course! You're not allowed to change your name to something else after you get it..."

Aletia noticed the look by the other girl, and only smiled. "I was out on a walk, what else?" She then remembered Ed's comment and rolled her eyes, still grinning. "I know that, silly! Y'know what I mean, right?"
