Wandering Around Aimlessly is an Easy Way to Get Killed

So many words to follow. From what Arjean understood, it seemed like Joseph wanted to stop the demon talk, so they just went silent. He didn't even try to start up a new conversation, instead he just looked around the shop looking really happy. All this place did for Arjean was make their stomach growl constantly. When they couldn't take it anymore they pulled out some Pixy Stix from their hair and began sucking on them. They were always difficult to unwrap, so Arjean often just ended up eating the paper with the sugar.

"I'm booored," they complained, all the while trying to get a piece of paper off of their tongue. It looked more like Joseph was here just to look around than to actually get anything. Just to get things moving, they flew up to get some of the vials he smelled and kept saying, "Buy. Buy. Please." Only when they grabbed the vials did they realize they were getting them sticky with Pixy Stix.

Arjean's attempts to make Joseph buy something didn't seem to work. Instead, it seemed like their attempts made him uncomfortable or unhappy. That's not what they wanted. They just wanted him to hurry up so they could do something more fun.

"If you wanna," Arjean muttered, not sounding too eager to stay or leave. Still, they what he suggested and put the vials back, but that didn't stop them from looking for more stuff he could buy. They still wanted to be helpful and impress him, and maybe he would buy them something if they were helpful enough.

Just looking while being silent was too hard though. It's not like he told them to stay quiet anyways. They wanted to speak, or just hear him talk about stuff. It was easier for Arjean to let others speak while they listened. "Let's hide and seek. Or tag. Or chase."

To be truthful, they wanted to play-fight. Knocking Joseph over and seeing his powers in true action sounded more fun. Arjean could show off what they could do during it too. But Joseph didn't seem like the type and would probably just get annoyed, or they would break something and get in trouble. And when Arjean broke something they always got into big trouble and their family had to pay for what they broke. They weren't even allowed to keep what they broke, instead they had to watch it get thrown away.
