Ambrose's eyes widened as Shinji rolled back over the bench. In his head, he wanted to help him, but wasn't sure if he would try to attack or not. As he stood back on his feet, lightning was streaking from his palms, and it seemed the flesh on his hands was tearing away. Well, that looked somewhat painful. Ambrose was about to ask him if he was okay, bus Shinji closed his eyes, seemingly calming himself, and the lightning disappeared. His hands healed at an elevated level, it seemed. Shinji stood, recovered from his little freak out it seemed. He then told Ambrose to warn people before he changed. He figured 'Don't freak out' would've been warning enough, but he guessed not. He laughed a little at that. Shinji then came a tad closer, remarking on his changed appearance, and asking what exactly it was. Ambrose was about to ask him why he was standing further away from him than what he thought normal, but then realized that his hands were still flaming. He looked to his hands and let the flames dissipate, the heat giving one last wave over his body before he cooled back down to normal.

"Sorry, I didn't really think about a real warning. As for what this is? Honestly, i'm not sure. I...guess you could call this my 'demon' form. When I take this form I become exceptionally stronger and faster, as well as being able to fly and being able to control fire. Outside of this form, though..." Ambrose would say, before changing back to his normal self "I'm just a really great aim and really handsome." He would finish, smirking

"So, lightning, eh? And...accelerated healing?" Ambrose would say, gesturing to Shinji's hands.

Shinji watched as Ambrose removed the flames from his hands. He was glad that he did because it was quite hot. Within doing this, one wave of heat went of Ambrose's body. Shinji felt this all too well and squinted a little. After this Shinji was able to maintain a closer distance from him. Not invading personal space but close enough to where normal people would be if chatting. Shinji continued to look him up and down, though, checking out his features. It was like a real life video game or something of the sort. While doing this, Ambrose began to describe what this form was. A 'demon' form as he called it. That was actually a very accurate reading of him since he looked like the fabled demons that were on TV or video games or in stories. This fascinated Shinji to the fullest extent though. he wanted to know more and fortunately for him, Ambrose went on about his abilities in this form. "Strength, speed, flight, and controlling fire. Sounds like the perfect power set to me." Shinji said aloud smirking at this. Suddenly, in the middle of a sentence, he reverted back to his normal form. Shinji laughed a little at Ambrose's little side joke. It was well set up even if it was just a small amount of humor. But after finishing his explanation, he looked to Shinji's hands and asked about his lightning. Shinji looked at his hands as they finished healing completely and looked back up to Ambrose. "Eh, yea. I generate it from brain waves and I heal I guess to keep the lightning from hurting me. But, you know, its nothing compared to what I just saw." he said with a smile stretched across his face.

Ambrose would return his expression to the sad smile he had worn earlier. In truth, he loved his powers. They made him different. They made him special. They made him, well, powerful. However, they also got him into a lot of trouble. They made his life a living hell, and they had made everyone that saw them hate him for having them.

"Eh, these powers are nice, but...they have a major downside. Trust me. People don't take too kindly to demons, y'know? Honestly, there were some days that I wished that I could be human. Then I heard about this place. I was sick of being hated, so I came here, on promises that I would be accepted. So far, I have been. I mean, no one's gawked or anything." Ambrose would explain, revealing some of his past to Shinji. After a short while, he would look to the sky, to see the sun slowly descending. Well, time had certainly passed. It was now the afternoon, probably about 2:00, and Ambrose wanted to see some more of the island before it got dark.

"Hey, it's been nice talking and all, don't get me wrong, but I kinda gotta scram. I wanna see all I can see of this place before it gets too dark. And besides, i'm sure there are places you wanna see, too. I'll catch up with you later, alright? It was nice to meet you, Shinji." Ambrose would say, slowly walking away. After a while, ample time for Shinji to respond, Ambrose would wave and start walking off.

Shinji listened as Ambrose revealed some of his thoughts to him. He seemed somewhat sad about this but the way he is telling it, anyone would be sad to have such a life but at the same time happy about themselves. Seems more like conflicting internal emotions. Shinji thought to himself as he listened, "These are just regular humans he is talking about. They will never understand the struggle of having powers. At least not anytime soon." Upon finishing his story, Ambrose saw how the sun was descending and figured it was time to take his leave. Shinji crossed his arms to get into a slightly more comfortable position. Ambrose made his leave in the mean time. He wanted to see more of this place before the day was over and he knew Shinji would too. That part was slightly true as he wanted to find a place to meditate and train. "No problem." Shinji started as Ambrose began to walk away. "Good luck with you first few day and I guess I'll see ya around." By now, Ambrose will have been a distance away waving to his new acquaintance. "He he was cool. Now then back to my original mission.." Shinji said as he left on his way to find a place to do what needs to be done.
