Jerith strode along the beach, though, not wearing his armor or anything, but the clothes most of his family does, though, he had his sword with him, though, thought about leaving it, but then was afraid Fury might show up, so he brought it with him.

Today was nice, it was noon, and calm, he came out here after lunch, feeling like he wanted to walk.

Like usual at lunch he sat with his family, though, he found it odd that Fury wasn't around, he normally sat in a corner, but wasn't there, Jerith thought it a bit odd, but didn't mind, it was nice for a change, not having his cousin running after him, so they could have a death match. He wondered if they ever will, or would Fury get kinder and forget about it.

He snorted. "Yeah right, Fury has a major ego" Jerith thought.

Jessica walked onto the beach. the correct word would actually be tripped, due to the fact that she had fallen 5 times on the way there. Luckly she had not been injured, althouh she did have a few scratches on her hands. she walked by the boy, not quite noticing him enough to introduce herself then walke dout onto the docks. She sat down on one side and began to think

She thought about the parents she never knew. she thought about the murderers who were still out there looking for her. She thought about how all her family had been killed, because of her. She suddenly shuddered , and to anyone watching her it would probly look as though she was cold, at the memories and pushed them to the farthest corners of her mind.

Jerith saw the girl go by, and watched as she walked to the docks, and sat down. He stopped a moment, staring. He didn't need anything to tell him, that she seemed to be thinking, like himself, and then she shuddered. She looked cold, from what he saw, but somehow he knew she wasn't. "Must be terrible thoughts," he thought, making his way toward the docks, and girl.

He walked on the dock, and sat not too far from the girl, he glanced over at her, then looked away, and searched through a bag he had, and pulled out a Coke, opened it, and drank some. Some could say, he was addicted to soda.

"Hi! I'm Jerith." He said, a bit cheerful.

She looke dup startled. No one usually paid much attention to her. She looked back down to the water past the docks, then tuged on the hem of her usual white flowwy knee length dress. She turned her bright eyes back up to him then opened her mouth to speak.

"I'm Jessica, or just Jess." she said quickly and quietly before looking down. She sat there silently before turning up to look at the boy again. he looke dnormal, and quite cute actually, but she didn't want anyone to get too close to her. Something bad could happen whenever she turned and she could end up dieing and she wouldn't want to hurt anyone.

"WHat brings you here?" she asked curiosuly, a little louder now, as she looke dup again. She looked him in the eye for just a breif moment before turning her gaze back to the glistenign water.

Jerith smiled, and took another sip of his soda. His eyes wandering around the surroundings, taking in everything. He normally does for everything, he had to, it was a combat thing, one must always know his surroundings, but, he was not intending on anything like that, fighting Fury today would merely get him grumpy.

"Thats a nice name..." He said calmly, and politely. He glanced at Jessica, she seemed like a normal girl, though, Jerith didn't really know what you call normal, to him, his ways are normal, the old medieval ways.

"What brings you here?"

He looked away and shrugged.

"Nothing really, just felt like walking, and where my thoughts led me, though, hoping they aren't leading me to my cousin, he's not right in the head." He said, and a laugh.

She looked at him slightly confused at his last words. He could read his families minds? That was so cool.

"Thats interesting. I dont have any family to stay away from...THey were all killed because of me." she said unhappily. She hated her power for the pain it had caused her.

"Thats interesting. I don't have any family to stay away from...They were all killed because of me."

He looked over at her, a bit of sadness creeping into his eyes.

"You shouldn't say such things like that, I doubt it was your fault." He said, calmly. He knew what that feeling was, his family disappearing one by one, every week it seemed, it was sad, and he feels like its his fault, but it wasn't.

It seemed odd that it would be her fault, she didn't seem like that type.

He took a drink of his soda.

"So, Jess... what brings such a beautiful girl out here to the docks?" He asked, smirking. Asking the same question she had asked him.

"No, trust me. It is my fault. If i hadn't been the last one witht his stupid power no one would have come after me or my family. THis is the only place im even remotely safe." she said as she felt her tears fillign with tears. She blinked them away.

She bluched scarlet when he called her beautiful. "uhm Well. I just want to clear my head." she replied. "How about you?"

He cocked his head a little, looking at her. She continued saying it was her fault, and her power. "What is your power?" He asked, his voice still calm, though more gentle, as he watched her, curiosity in his eyes.

"How about you?"

"Well, you can say I'm hiding from my crazy cousin, and from my annoying little cousin, who keeps trying to make me take dance lessons when I already know how to dance better then her, and yeah... fun fun." He laughed, cheerfully.
