<div align=center>Levi was in a bad mood as it was, his head was reeling and he was completely sick of thinking about things that actually required some kind of concentration. Emotions were things designed for humans and it would be far easier for him if demons were born without them. Pushing everything out of his head, he subconsciously hoped Ty wasn't at home, he didn't want to deal with him right now. No doubt something bad would happen if he did and... Levi sighed lightly, fumbling around in his pockets to look for his door key, fishing it out from the pocket of the worn out hoodie he was bundled up in. It was far too big, but his wings fit snuggly inside of it and it made him happy.

He wanted a bath or a nap or something to distract him for a little while so his mind didn't wander to places he'd rather it not go. The lock clicked as he turned the key, shuffling into the room and shutting the door behind him. The room was empty, thankfully, though Levi couldn't help but wonder where Ty was, it was unlike him not to be in their room, if Levi thought about it. He wasn't what you'd call a social butterfly, maybe he's in a lesson. He didn't know, but he wasn't going to think about it right now.

Dropping the little satchel he was carrying to the floor and collapsing on his bed, the demon lay on his front for a moment, debating whether to just sleep right here without even getting changed. Why do bad things happen to good people?</div>

Slipping out of his dorm right after Levi that morning, Tyberius had opted to go out to the store. He figured that he may as well enjoy the sun and relative heat while it lasted, and he bundled up to set out. The respectable allowance his parents had sent him every month was wadded up in his pocket, ready to be spent on a supply of snacks. The hidey-hole that he and his roommate used to store their food had been running low lately, especially on his favourites. The trip itself was more or less uneventful, he bundled his cart up with snacks and other interesting edible items, and began the journey back home.

He had found a present for Levi on his way back home, a little golden red leaf that looked particularly interesting. He couldn't really say why he had a habit of collecting such things, but he hoped that Levi would like it. Feeling something akin to happiness, Ty almost didn't mind the sun and wind coming home. He had a good present, food he was looking forward to consuming, and Levi would probably be home by now.

His door key was pressed into his palm as he approached his room, excited to present Levi with his findings. Tyberius noticed that as the days wore on, he was more and more excited to greet the boy after their days ended. It was almost like he looked forward to their time together. Shoving that thought away, Ty pasted his frown back on his face, a mask of disapproval sliding back easily as he slotted the key into the door, surprised to find that it was already open.
Shouldering the door open, Tyberius focused on his roommate laying face down on his bed, and Ty wondered if he was asleep. Not bothering to try to be quiet, Ty dug for the leaf he had brought, and placed it gingerly in front of Levi, backing up a few paces to admire it, his expression lighting up a bit. Levi didn't look very asleep, Ty didn't think he would have gone to sleep in his own bed, anyway.
Gathering up his groceries, he knelt in front of their window seat, opening it to replace their stock. "I got more food. I ... I found something for you I hope you like it."

<div align=center> As if on que Ty had appeared, though instead of hiding like he wanted to Levi rather remained exactly where he was instead. Tyberius was talking about something or the other and Levi only really registered it when he was presented with a little golden leaf that immediately banished any kind of sour mood that might have been hanging over the demon's head. Sure, he was a little confused, though thinking about it - Ty was a raven, wasn't he? Levi didn't know much about birds, but maybe this was something to do with that.

Pinching the stem of the leaf between his thumb and forefinger, the boy rolled over onto his back to get a better look at it. It was a pretty sun-stained golden colour, it glinted softly in the artificial light of the room. "I guess this means summer is over." He'd never really experienced winter before, he didn't really know what it was like, thinking about it. Directing a small smile up at Ty, Levi struggled to his feet and shuffled across the room, rummaging in a chest of drawers and pulling out a little brass thumb tack so he could fix Tyberius' gift to the wall. "Thank you, it's pretty. See? Now everyone who comes in can see it." Not that anyone other than either of them ever came into the room, Levi stood back from his handiwork nonetheless, having affixed the leaf to the wall next to his bed. He didn't really want to use the word cute, but there might not have been any other word to use to describe his room mate right now.</div>

Ty's nose twitched as the scent of food appealed to him through the plastic packaging. He had bought a large bag of cookies, adorned with the happy smiling faces of animated characters gleefully eating a handful of the product. He had always been more drawn to the metallic-y packages, the reflective properties of plastic suited him just fine. A little regretfully, Tyberius shut the lid of their shared windowseat, sealing off the snacks for another day. "Good. Summer is too hot." Winter meant scavenging especially, and despite not being an actual bird, Ty could feel the urgent desire to find and hoard food before the frost set in.

Perched on top of the window seat, he gently leaned himself up against the glass, observing Levi as he examined his present. His face was blank, keeping up a cool, aloof appearance as he simply watched. Something in his chest jumped when Levi smiled, tacking the leaf to the wall. He liked it. He was not nesting with it, but then again, Ty couldn't ... He frowned suddenly, wishing that his thoughts were not so very in tune with that of a bird's. "I'm ... Glad you like it." He had lit up just a little bit, pleased to see the gift on the wall. He would have to go find more presents. The courtship of ravens included lots and lots of presents, and though Tyberius would absolutely never admit he was courting Levi, that appeared to be what he was attempting to do.
"Do anything interesting today? Classes were sort of boring, I guess." He was in a very uncharacteristic mood, uplifted from being able to just be in his roommate's presence. He had gotten awfully used to having a roommate, and he almost ... Enjoyed their time together. He looked forward especially to sleeping, curling up together in a single bed. Gay, but he didn't like to think about that.

<div align=center>Summer is too hot. Hot? Levi had been cold through most of summer, he was beginning to dread what winter might be like. He hadn't got used to the climates of Earth yet, and was beginning to wonder if he ever would. If the worst came to the worst, he could always hibernate and spend the whole winter curled up in bed. He'd be incredibly behind school work but think how cosy he'd be able to be. That was a nice thought. He was still a little confused by Ty's behavior, but it was probably best not to question it.

Do anything interesting today? He frowned a little, and shook his head. Sure, he'd met with Wong but that wasn't anything very interesting and it certainly wasn't something he was going to talk to Tyberius about anytime soon. Not at the moment, anyway. "When do I ever do anything interesting?" He asked, lifting an eyebrow and shooting the older man a sort of half smile that showed off the set of fangs concealed within his mouth. There was the time he accidentally murdered someone and they'd dumped her body in a forest, but of course he didn't remember any of that and to Levi that night had just been a completely normal night. It was probably best he didn't recall, though.

"What about you? What did you buy?" Levi asked, tilting his head in the direction of the window seat. He wondered if they should get a mini-fridge any time soon. Mini-fridges were good for cold drinks and cured meats and all at once the demon decided it was a very good idea. "We should get a fridge."</div>

"Hmm, true. You are a bit of a boring person." Ty raised his eyebrows at Levi, in his own version of a smile. Slipping off the window seat, Ty gave in to himself, opening the lid to snatch a bag of his favourite corn snacks. "Just a couple things. I bought lots of corn chips and cookies and biscuits." Opening the crinkly bag, he gratefully curled up onto his bed with his prize, nibbling at one piece. "A fridge?" It did sound like a good idea, they'd be able to have cold drinks in here. And food that required refrigerating.

"They're expensive, though." They would probably have to sacrifice their food budget for a while to save up enough for a fridge. Unless he petitioned to his parents for money, but he didn't think that would go over very well. Wrapping himself in a soft blanket, Tyberius huddled into the warmth. He didn't like cooling off when it was hot, but he liked being able to warm up when it was cold. "It's only gonna get colder, too. The temperature is starting to drop pretty fast. Have you ever seen snow? You can build things with it. People used to make houses out of snow and ice."

<div align=center>Levi scowled at being called boring, with an idle shrug, he shook his head. "I've run out of people to sleep with." He answered, that wasn't strictly true, but it was generally the same faces that came up again and again. There weren't all that many pretty boys he hadn't slept with, when you were left with the ugly ones the novelty wore off, maybe he could just sleep with someone he hadn't slept with in a long time. The same thing happened with everyone, besides, it wasn't as if Levi expected any surprises unless whoever he got out of their pants had tentacles or something. That thought was a horrifying one though. Not even he was that kinky.

"Are they?" Levi didn't really have any concept of prices, he didn't have a job and the only real income he got was from robbing it from any victims he decided to sleep with. He supposed that made him a prostitute of kinds, he wasn't really ashamed of that however, he got a nice little stash of cash out of it, though I should probably get a real job. Not that he'd ever be very good at one, he was missing a few brain cells, and so even the most basic of things weren't really open to him. He could barely read or write, and math was completely out of the question.

It wasn't really that Levi was special needs, it was more just the fact that he was so painfully stupid.</div>

His eyes flicked up, his stare a more than a little irritated. Good. He didn't like when Levi talked about sleeping with so many people. He didn't exactly know why, nor why Levi was so awkwardly open about his life, and he figured that it irritated him so much because he didn't want to deal with anyone who kept lingering affections. Or, so he told himself. "You should stop sleeping with people, then." He sounded testy, even to himself, and Tyberius withdrew again, hiding a little in the comfort of his blanket.

"Yes. I'd say they cost about half a year's supply of snacks." Tyberius figured that Levi would have a better grasp on objects than figures and money. He was probably wildly overestimating, but he had grown up with high value items, and wouldn't be happy to settle with yellowed and dusty mini-fridge. Fundraisers were always a good idea, but they didn't have a reputable charity, and he didn't think a carwash would be such a good idea when it was so close to winter. However, an idea did come to him relatively quickly. "I bet we could raise money, though. No one will donate to a refrigerator, but if I break your legs and put you in a wheelchair, I bet you could generate enough pity to collect money."

<div align=center>"Why?" Levi asked, there wasn't any harm in it, not really. It gave him something to do and let him pretend he had absolutely no feelings for Ty for an hour or so - apart from that never really worked and his counterpart frequently questioned why he was saying the wrong name. Scowling at his thoughts, he pushed them away and shook his head. Thinking about that right now would only make him blurt out something stupid, but he couldn't help recalling what the Councillor had told him. If he didn't do something now then everything would snowball away from him, and he'd have lost something that could have been something.

Stop it.

Half a years supply. That made the boy's eyes widen just a tad, he wasn't sure if he was willing to give up that many snacks for a fridge. They'd probably end up starving, especially over the winter, and Levi didn't really want to starve. His head tilted to the left a moment later, realizing Ty had mentioned snow a moment ago, what was that? He'd never heard of it. "What's snow?" He asked. Scowling a moment later, he didn't really want his legs broken, "and all the money that was raised would have to be wasted paying for my medical bills."</div>

"Because I just ... Nevermind." I hate it and I hate you and I hate the people you sleep with. At least he could say it somewhere, even if saying it in his head didn't get him anywhere. "No, why would you have medical bills? Just, I don't know, splint yourself at home." Tyberius really had no concept of the intricacies of medical care, to him it was just as good of a cast to tape yourself to a pole of some sort until your legs healed. "Anyway, I could only break maybe one leg, and you can limp around pitifully." On second thought actually, if Levi complained enough, word would get to the administration, and he would have to be reassigned a room to avoid any other violent confrontations. He didn't want to be assigned away from Levi. "Maybe not, then."

"Snow is just flaky frozen water. It comes down like rain, except it's softer. After a few days of snowing, though, you can make people out of it. Houses, too. " There were a lot of people at this school with ice powers, he had discovered. The big frozen lake would no doubt be riddled with people trying to ice skate. Levi would look cute on ice skates, wouldn't he? "Lots of new activities to do, too. I think you would like ice skating."
