Kelena waited for Chris to show him more smart animals that she knew... She wondered abouts when he would arrive.... It was about 6:00pm and getting later...
She sat on a nearby stump and watched the few birds fly and talk....

Chris walked into the forest. He saw Kelena sitting on a stump.
"Hi, Kelena. How are you?"
Again, Chris had started with the most basic questions in existence. Maybe he should complicate the conversation...but that would be for later.
Geez, how much time am I going to spend thinking to myself?

"Well, I can't say I've been calm - I'm still a little nervous."
Chris had trouble admitting that.
"So where are we going first?"

"Well we'll first stay here, you can tell me what animals you would like to talk to and I can call them."

"Aw, why do I have to make all the decisions around here?"
Maybe he shouldn't have said that...
"Well, what have I got to choose from? Any animals who I have the tiniest chance of understanding?"
He knew she'd probably say no to that, but it was worth a try.

"Well it's really impossible for you to be able to understand what their talking about, but you could partly understand. I could teach you! To read their emotions, then you could get alot more then not understanding anything. You want to?"

"Sure. It might help someday..."
At least he may be able to understand the animals a little. It was better than nothing...

Kelena called a few birds over... "Okay now Chris pay close attention to the pitch, and tone. And facial features on this bird. And then I'll tell you what he said after you guess whether he was talking about a happy thing or a sad thing." The bird then talked in a sweet sadish tone with eyes gleaming happyily...
