Wading in the Water

Walking around, Susan wondered where Jamie, her friend, was, but shrugged it off. He had a life and could do what he wanted, she told herself.

Pulling her dark red dress up around her knees, she slipped off her sandals and walked into the shallow part of the water. The coolness did wonders to her mood, for it had gone sour because of the heat. Bending over, she ran her fingers through the water.

A small bunny hopped over to her and stared up at her for a moment. He looked extremely normal, with little grey ears, and gray and black flecked fur. Well.. Unless you noticed the pack of stickers on it's back.

It twitched it's nose for a moment, and then smiled. Yes. It smiled. And then in a flash, there was a funny looking redheaded boy sitting crosslegged on the sand. It wasn't his face that was funny looking, but rather the fact that there were two grey bunny ears portruding from his shaggy red hair.

That and the goofy grin on his face. And the fact that his jeans were covered in paint splotches of bright green, purple, orange, blue, and red, while his shirt was a bright red t-shirt.

He grinned up at her, and held out the sticker package that had been on his back when he was a bunny. "Sticker?" he questioned, cocking his head to the side, and looking rather like a puppy.

Startled, Susan turned at started at the boy. She stared at the thing he was holding out and wondered what a sticker was. Since she was from the 1700's, she didn't know. Sure, she had learned of maybe new things the world had to offer now, but this was just....weird.

Reaching out, she took the sticky thing and examined it. It was a piece of paper with a sticky substance on one side. Frowning slightly, she said a quiet "thank you" and then hesitantly put it on part of the tattoo that covered her right arm.

Adrian beamed at her, before standing and putting the sticker sheet back into his back pocket. "I'm Adrian." he introduced himself with a slightly goofy bow, before extending his hand to her. "And you are?" he cocked his head to the side again, this time quirking his ears too.

His dark blue eyes were intense, but their intensity was simply a great deal of hyperactiveness. If given the chance, the 17-year-old would likely go about dancing and flailing, just because he could. In fact, at the moment, he felt like doing just that, but he refrained for the time being, because he didn't want to kill the poor girl, who seemed to be rather confused.

When he asked who she was, Susan stepped out of the water and let her dress fall back to her ankles. "I'm Susan," She answered, giving him a smile. She bowed her head and avoided his gaze. Why she was acting shy right now, she wasn't sure.

Picking up her sandals, the girl headed over to a tree and sat down in the sand to relax.

Adrian trotted after her. "You haven't happened to see my friend, have you, Susan?" he questioned with his head cocked. "She's about yay high," he motioned that the girl was considerably shorter than him, "with red hair, and a cheery disposition?" he had been hunting her for the day, and was starting to wonder if Scythe's boyfriend had kidnapped her.

He was feeling horribly down about it, but one wouldn't think it to look at him. No, to everyone he just looked very chipper and slightly crazy. Especially since he was now waving his stickersheets about wildly as he explained it was very hard to find somebody so short in such a large place. Mind you, he wasn't ranting, he was very good natured about the whole thing, he was just very...er...flamboyant about it.

Susan blinked at him and shook her head. "I'm sorry, but I haven't seen anyone around here that size." She gave him a small smile before staring out in space.

Adrian grinned and cocked his head at her. It would appear to him, that she didn't want any company, and so after a brief conversation with himself in his mind, he waved at her. "Well I'm going to keep hunting then. Thanks anyways!"

And with that, he transformed back into a bunny, and began to hop slowly off in no apparent direction other than zigzag, and in circles.

"Hey! Where are you going? Come back!" Susan laughed as he hopped in circles. She stood and went over and scooped him up without a thought. "Don't leave me." She gave him a cute pout.
