THE SETTING:
The Colony Ship Morpheus is on year 139 of it’s 450 year journey from Earth to Terra Prime, a colony world intended to be the first of the Galactic Empire of Mankind. You are the lucky colonists, chosen because you have unique skills and training that will be useful on the fledgeling colony. You have been placed in cryostasis for the duration of the journey. You are to awaken on the last year of the journey to begin preparations for landing on Terra Prime, your new home.
However something has gone wrong. Sensors indicate that some of you are infected with bacteria that will wreak havoc on both the colony and Terra Prime’s ecosystem. The ship’s sensors identified stasis blocs that likely held the infection and woke up the inhabitants of those blocs. You.
Now you have to find out who is infected while the rest of the colonists sleep safe and sound in their blocs, blissfully unaware of anything around them. With no weapons, limited food and medical supplies, and not a lot of time it’s up to you who have woken up to figure out what’s going on so you can all get back into stasis.
THE STORY SO FAR:
Aboard the Colony Ship Morpheus, the largest of it's kind, a small emergency light blinks to life. It holds steady for almost an hour, and then begins to blink rapidly, sending orders elsewhere in the ship. What happens next is not quick in any way, but one by one a row of lights deep in the ship begin to swap from green to red, and pods begin the slow process of safely unthawing their occupants.
The pod block 259-8 has begun to wake from cryo sleep, each pod cracking open only when the occupant is fully awake. Beside each pod is a status screen, indicating the occupant, their vitals and information, and a large flashing ERROR message.
All participants are beginning to wake in pod block 259-8, but not all are waking up at the same time. When tapped, the status screen swaps to reveal ERROR 3843 with no further information.
The group scattered at first and eventually made their way to the command room. They broke into teams, one going to the cargo bay, one going to the crew area, one going to the living quarters, and one staying in command. The command team funneled people to the command room via the intercom system. The crew area team found a cryo pod manual with error codes. Error code 3843 is a parasitic infection alert.
Back in the command room, everyone argued extensively about what to do. Eventually it was decided that they should go to the medical bay and find a way to test for infection. A separate group went to the crew area and figured out how to turn the tablets they had found into communicators. The medical bay team found three pods that would heal the infected, but locked once activated, so they have limited uses.
The medical bay team starts checking everyone for infection, slowly finding out that apparently most of them are infected. Meanwhile Goro and Theo went to look for something to find a way into the main computer systems.
The group discovered a way to identify infected people and then spent an amount of time getting to know each other while Theo and Lee worked on breaking into the command console. They figured out that the infection was caused by the impact to the ship a month ago.
Bella, and then Kaiser, went on a space walk to dislodge the meteor in the ship so that the ejection door could be sealed. They were attacked by AAAAHHH SPAAAAAACE WORMS, and Kaiser got bitten. They took him to the medical bay and treated him. He was not infected.
Eventually, the group went looking for Goro. They found him, and he had advanced to a pretty feral state. And he had a steak knife. Lee jumped in to subdue him but was bitten in the process. Goro was sedated and put in a med-pod while the rest debated what to do with Lee. Eventually he decided that he would disconnect his pod from he rest and force it to freeze him, and where he would have to manually be woken up when the ship arrived.
Finally, the crisis averted, everyone got into their pods.
In the crew area, a single screen comes into focus. It blinks several times and a readout on the monitor says:
SECURITY ALERT. HIGH PRIORITY. STASIS POD DISCONNECTED FROM MAIN SYSTEM.

Day 2:
The colonists woke up in their pods yet again, but were greeted by sunlight pouring in through the open door to their pod room. They exited and found themselves on the surface of Terra Prime in a clearing. Only their pod, a supply box, and a pile of duffel bags with their personal affects was around. The forest around was made of up redwood tree sized leeks.
After opening the supply crate, the colonists got a transmission from the colonization effort chief officer, Commander Kaube. They were informed that they were set down in this location because of a potential vein of an iron-like metal. The main colony was an hour away and trucks were ready to take them back at any time.
The group split into two teams. One went to find the ore and the other stayed around to study the clearing. The away team eventually found that the soil was desert dry except right around the trees, where it was almost normal Earth soil. They also found the ore vein about a meter underground. The Clearing Team discovered by accident that the leeks' juices cause paralysis. They also discovered a pile of strange fruit on one side of the pod room.
The Away Team returned and it was discovered that strange lizard-like creatures were around, nearly camouflaged by the way their skin matched the surroundings. They were the ones replacing the fruit as it was taken. The group contacted the commander again and requested a supply drop: a drone, firearms, and ground-piercing sonar.
Eventually, the strange lizard creatures came out in the open and began offering the colonists more of the fruit. Everyone was wary to eat it until Goro mentioned that he had accidentally taken a bite of one of the fruits earlier when he was making a perimeter. Seeing that he had no ill effects, the others ate the fruit. This made the lizards happy, and they climbed all over the colonists. Everyone was delighted with this.
All except Issac, who remained wary of the lizards.
The group reported their new friends to the commander and a truck was sent to pick them up. They left their lizard friends behind and the colony got underway. Nova asked about Lee and found that he had to be treated separately because his pod had been disconnected from the main system.

The pod room is attached to what amounts to a large donut with other pod rooms. It takes almost ten minutes of walking to get to the elevator, which gives the options:
Pod Room - where they start. A big 10 minute loop to get to the elevator to the rest of the areas.
