One of Starlight Academy's large event rooms had been turned into a makeshift flower workshop thanks to the members of the Gardening club as well as a few local flower shops.
The classroom was filled with basket upon basket of freshly cut red, white, orange, pink, yellow and purple lavender roses. There were also huge vase-like containers filled with Baby's Breathe, Myrtle and fern cuttings as well as large boxes full of colorful ribbons, pink and red hearts, stickers, and large rolls and sheets spring-themed paper. And at the center of everything, and helping direct the event, was the school's Home Economics teacher, Ms. Celeste Forestier.
All attendees to Starlight's Valentine's flower arrangement workshop will not only learn about the significance behind the number of roses in a bouquet and their colors, but they will be able to make a bouquet of their own for that special someone as well.
