Appearance Description: Uzziel’s physical body is permanently clad in a strange steel like substance and stands at 5’ 10”. Writing randomly on the armor is the sentence Here, at the end of all things, the gatekeeper remains. . Every time the sentence appears on Uzziel’s armor, the sentence is in completely different languages found both on Earth and outside of it. At the back of the helmet, small locks of silver hair can be seen poking out of the bottom of the helmet.
Personality Description: Uzziel is often very matter of fact about many things. Uzziel understands things like sarcasm and can realize when someone is being sarcastic but Uzziel himself doesn’t find a need to such speech. The most noticeable trait Uzziel has is his dedication to his job of gatekeeper and just how far he will go to protect his ‘gate’. If it was between saving those he called his friends and protecting the gate he guards, Uzziel wouldn’t hesitate to protect the gate. Uzziel is also a hard person to befriend in the first place. Uzziel tends to assume ulterior motives for those he meets and often keeps his guard raised because of it.

‘The Gate’:
As the gatekeeper Uzziel is capable of opening and closing the ‘gate’ at will. In reality this gate is not a gate in the literal since but instead a small gateway to a realm Uzziel simple calls “The place beyond the Gate”. The gateway is a vortex that can appear to be the size of a basketball to a maximum size of six feet tall and six feet wide. Of course Uzziel can retrieve and store items in the realm beyond the gate and the size of the item he is retrieving or storing reflects the size of the portal. The main item Uzziel retrieves and stores is a large greatsword made of the same material his armor is made of. People are also able to travel to and from the realm beyond the gate by using the portal Uzziel creates, but one would have to go through Uzziel if they wanted to move through the portal. Also both the one wanting to go through the gate and Uzziel must consent to the passing.

If Uzziel is killed his spirit will simply retreat to the realm beyond the gate to reform. It takes approximately a full day to reform Uzziel’s body.
‘Riftguard’:
Uzziel’s blade and armor are made of extremely an tough metal with the blade capable of withstanding eight hundred pounds of pressure and its edge rivaling a diamond in sharpness. The armor, due to the overlapping plates, can withstand much greater forces. Uzziel’s armor can withstand approximately three tons of pressure.

When it is all over, when the universe is still, when gods go silent and life turns to ash. Here at the end of all things, the gatekeeper will remain, guarding their tarnished gates against the silence with a broken sword and an armor of rust.
Uzziel was never a holy angel like many believe when he says he is an angel. In reality Uzziel is the angel to a very ancient god, one that is long forgotten to the present universe. When Uzziel was ‘born’ his very first thoughts were what would soon become his purpose, to protect the realm beyond the gate from anyone and everyone no matter what would happen. As Uzziel served his god, he couldn’t help but watch the developing realities as they blossomed forth. Everything seemed to mature so quickly while Uzziel remained unchanged by the passage of time. This fact never disturbed Uzziel however as he knew that it was simply apart of his purpose. He would guard the realm beyond the gate for all eternity, long after the universe goes silent and when life goes still. It was a sad fact but something Uzziel had come to terms with very early on during his duties.
As time passed, Uzziel would suffer from the slow death of his kind. Very slowly the angel that served Uzziel’s god became less and less, suddenly vanishing without a trace. The numbers continued to drop until it was just Uzziel and his god. Then, for mysterious reasons, Uzziel’s god vanished as well which left Uzziel alone as a memory of a forgotten faith. However, this never deterred Uzziel from his duties and Uzziel began to venture out and seek new experiences while never neglecting his duties as a gatekeeper. His journeys eventually led him to Manta Carlos where he chose to reside for as long as he saw fit.
Resources: Ancient artifacts belonging to his kind and his god in the realm beyond the gate. These artifacts are sadly all but useless to Uzziel as he was not made to interact with them.
