The creaky metal. The surprisingly low hum of machinery. The little glitches in the code that allowed the android to walk. And talk. And "breathe". And think. The broken vocal cords that impaired the android's very purpose, for the most part.
By all means, emerging out of the cluster of organic matter (her backup memory had quickly corrected the matter to a thing called trees) had not been her AI's most educated decision, nor was it in the best shape to make such a decision. Her metal was still sort of dented in places, her vocal cords outright ripped out of her throat and fraying in several places. Faulty wiring annoyed her with every step, and each one brought about a wave of frustration from her recent personality update - the only one, apparently, that could update itself. Somewhere in her "brain", her software was just begging to be updated, but the robot refused to acknowledge the warnings and instead stumbled along the street.
A mechanic. That was what VIOS-E needed - a skilled mechanic who could repair an outdated version of a VIOS android. However...
A glitchy, mechanical sigh emanated from her machinery. The beings around her used a different currency, different languages, different... Just different. If things were anything like last time she had reactivated, humans still used something called "dollars". Or was it "pounds"? VIOS-E's memory facilities couldn't retrieve the information. Either way, she was sure she had some stashed away somewhere, from the last time where she had had to deal with humans.
One store after the other she trudged into. One after the other proved to lack the facilities she needed. Until finally she arrived at a certain shop, stumbling inside. A quick scan of the perimeter revealed there to be someone there... Organic, probably. Hmm...

Today was actually one of those slow days in the workshop.

There wasn't a lot of people who needed stuff worked on and Lucky actually got time to chill and work on a few of his own projects. Nowadays it seemed hard to actually finish any project either from work or a lack of motivation which he needed to change.

Lucky pulled out his little handy sketchbook and flipped through his pages to look for something quick and easy to do. There was a few simple things like a solar powerd fan, fix up a radio, and add a new shiny coat of paint on the tin man project. "Tin Man..." He stared at that one for a bit right up until he detected something metallic coming towards him.

"Yo! Welcome to my shop. What services do you ne-" Glancing up from his sketchbook Lucky noticed his customer was definitely a robot or something. A robot that was in very bad shape.

"Shit, did you get hit by a car?"

A car. VIOS-E had never heard of such a thing, and if she had, the term was unfamiliar to her. Which, she supposed, wasn't unusual - her memory banks had been corrupted profusely from the recent crash.
Hit, by this "car" object. One could make the assumption that this situation was perceived as 'bad' by humans.
After a few seconds of processing, the robot tried to speak, but only static and distorted noise came from her now-corrupted voice box. VIOS-E half-wanted to scream in frustration., but she knew it would be to no avail. So, she resorted to the only nonverbal form of speech she knew.
A shake of her head, as she pantomimed having her throat ripped out.
"Please fix." She mouthed at the pink-haired shopkeeper. "Please fix."
