Up In A Tree

Kyako was bored beyond belief so she decided to telport herself somewhere. After thinking a moment, she decided on the Forest. Closing her eyes, she pictured the place she wanted to appear at and then felt herself being transfered there. It was an odd feeling. Kind of like being stretched over a mile long and becoming quite skinny. But of course that wasn't what really happened.

A moment later in time, Kyako appeared in the exact spot she had pictured. Well, sort of. She was about twenty feet up higher in the air than she had wished to be. After noticing she was straddling a tree branch, Kyako burst out laughing in merriment.

At the sight of the boy Kyako laughed a bit more before cloing her eyes. She then appeared at his side. [color=33ff99]"The same way I just got down here. Teleportation."[/color] She grinned and leaned against the tree trunk.

"Thats very in-ter-est-ing."

Kyako couldn't help but think he was being sarcastic. She only pursed her lips to keep another smile from appearing and said, [color=33ff99]"Isn't it though?"[/color]

She wold have become a flower right then just to see his reaction but she knew that to do so, then change back, would leave hr without anymore power for the day. And that meant she would be mute and she wouldn't be able to get back to the school without walking. And she didn't want that to happen so she only stared at him.

"Actually, how far can you teleport? I'm Christopher-James, by the way."

Kyako nodded greeting with a small smile. [color=33ff99]"Almost up to five miles, but not quite. And I'm Kyako Ireland."[/color]

"Sorry if I sounded sarcastic, earlier," He told her as his hand hovered, "I didn't mean to."

Kyako blushed. [color=33ff99]"Oh....okay. Well, I have a way of jumping to conclusions and....yeah, it's alright."[/color]

Kyako pulled her hand back and folded her hands together.

"Why are you blushing? And it's alright."

She shrugged. "I don't really know. I just do it alot. Why are you blushing?"

Kyako shrugged. "I was bored." It was a truthful answer, but she didn't know if C.J--she had just made up the nickname for him--would believe her.

"Why are you out here?"

Kyako nodded in understanding. A second later she pursed her lips. [color=33ff99]"Does that mean you'd like me to leave so you can...think?"[/color]

Kyako bit her lip. [color=33ff99]"Just that when I come to a private place to think, I like to be alone...so I thought...."[/color] She grinned.

Kyako's eyes widened and she backed up as if scared. [color=33ff99]"Are you always like this....? 'Cause if so....I might leave,"[/color] she joked.

Kyako realized she had said the wrong thing, and he had missed the teasing note in her voice. She grinned and shoved his arm. [color=33ff99]"I was joking, lighten up. I'm not going to leave."[/color]
