"You... you did?! Holy crap! Congratulations! Shit... We've got to round up the others, this calls for a celebration!" Jackie's initial burst of excitement was followed up by some cheers and other excited noises the naga could muster. "Party wouldn't be as grand as I planned it, but I expected I was able to hold off saving money until college or something."

And this was why Aranea was friends with Jackie. "That would be nice, but... I'd much rather celebrate you guys' coming back! Maybe we can make it about both?"

But now it was hitting her again. A deeply uncomfortable feeling. A few hours ago, Aranea had no idea who these people were. All these memories coming back all at once, it was deeply unsettling. She wasn't even sure if this was real, or some kind of trick, or...

"Hey, listen. I... the thing that did that to you did something weird to, I think either our memories or... maybe even entire timelines? It's messing with my head. I need a minute. Catch up with you later, ok?"

"Well then, both it is!" Aranea couldn't see it, but Jackie had a big grin on her face. She still couldn't wrap her head around the fact that 12 years just passed her by in what could have amounted to a few measly seconds for her. So the idea of the part being half about them 'coming back' seemed a little weird for her, but she wasn't going to ruin the moment. Aranea had a strangeness in her voice. Whatever happened made her uncomfortable. "Sure thing Fuzzball. Remember, if you need anything, Jackie's got you covered!"
