Private Finished Unstoppable Force Times Two

Ava had pretty impulsively agreed to fighting Zephri, but she was the kind of person to pick the fights thrown at her. Ava had moved on from picking fights herself, most of the time. She did if someone seemed strong and worth fighting, or if they pissed her off. Zephri was a bit of both, but despite the fact that he pissed Ava off she had agreed to take him to the club.
Ava still didn't know if Zephri would be part of the club on the long run. He seemed to really like fighting, but if he didn't actively try to grow and didn't want to take part in analyzing how that would happen the best then...well, they'd just have to see.
For now, all Ava was concerned with was kicking his ass.

"Okay, let's see if you're really worth all that talk."
Ava said, finishing up her stretches and tightening the ponytail her hair was in. She and Zephri were standing in the middle of the gym. The rest of the club members were to the side and our of harm's way. Zephri seemed like the type that liked to go all-out, and Ava was more than happy to oblige. Though she'd try not to burn down the entire gym.
"You want to go first and make your defeat come quicker, Mr. Obvious?"
Ava smirked, testing if Zephri was the trash-talking type or the "stop talking and start fighting" type. Somehow Ava had a hunch it was the latter.

Zephri really didn't like the nickname, huh? Good, then Ava was going to keep on using it. She still thought it was better than Goko or whatever name Maddie came up with.
Zephri jumped right into action and Ava's grin reflected his. Especially since she could see some real familiar-looking red lightning around Zephri. So this kid was Barathos? Now Ava was even happier to fight him, Ava hadn't won against Destra once and that pissed her off. It would be great to win against another Barathos with similar powers.

Happy to be able to pull out the stops Ava partially shifted. Dark grey, diamond-hard skin crept up her limbs, followed by thin magma veins until she looked like a walking active volcano with a tail. Ava's hands and bare feet now was black, sharp claws and horns were peeking out from under her hair. She lowered her body and though Ava wanted to just face Zephri head-on she wanted to fight bit smarter than that until she knew she could take it.

Ava saw clearly where Zephri was aiming and it was reasonably easy to avoid the blow. Ava, still keeping her body low and ready to spring into any direction, dodged sharply to the right. She went ahead and tried to get a blow in by spinning quickly on her heels, claws on her feet dug to the ground for grip, and slamming her tail right towards Zephri's torso.

Well, shit. Zephri was able to dodge the tail, and before Ava could get close again he threw an air blast at her. That was bad, Ava couldn't let it land. Ava quickly shifted her wings and shot up and out of the way, using her legs as a boost too since Ava didn't want the wind blast to mess with her wings.

But Ava quickly returned to the ground, since that was where she was the strongest. She'd just have to drag Zephri down to her level.
Ava blocked the initial air blasts Zephri sent her way by creating a nice little volcanic rock cover. She returned fire by sending small parts of said cover in quick projectiles at Zephri, similarly to what he was doing, and then just replaced the missing pieces with new rock. But this was just a stalemate, Ava had to do something else.

In one quick zoom Ava shot herself away from her cover, still keeping a part of it as a shield, and near Zephri. She created a lot of magma and shot it at Zephri, making it in the shape of a hand. With it Ava would attempt to grab Zephri and if she succeeded she'd harden the magma in an instant and force Zephri back down.

Although the air blades tore through the magma it soon reformed, and Ava was ready to try and grab Zephri again. But she didn't have to, as he came to her all on his own.
Well, that made things much easier. Zephri was really fast though, Ava was going to have to watch out for that.

But Ava wasn't exactly slow either. The shield she had used was still in her hands and Ava used it to block Zephri's view of her and her body language as he got close. Using that to her advantage Ava aimed a punch at Zephri's torso, making her fist heavier with a volcanic rock gauntlet. She also wanted to see, if this landed, whether Zephri had weakness towards the earth element. If he did it should hit that much harder.

Okay, okay, Ava could see what Zephri was doing when he stepped on her and taunted her. She could see it clear as day, and Ava wanted to get mad and go after Zephri, make him eat those words.
But Ava also knew that if she did do now and took her feet off the ground Zephri's wind was going to work against her.

So, with pure willpower, Ava forced herself to not answer and instead launched the rock gauntlet around her hand like a projectile.
"Nice try."
Was all Ava said as she made some more of that nice volcanic rock and did the same as Zephri earlier with his wind, launching projectiles from all directions at him. The projectiles were all kinds of sizes, some as large as Ava's head and some as small as a bullet. But they were all moving at speeds attempting to rival Zephri's. And if even one of them got close Ava would turn them right back into magma and attempt to encase any part of Zephri they touched in a hard shell.
